The booking process was very good, the two members of staff taking the bookings were very helpful.
The price was more expensive than I hoped but I booked it anyway, which included a late key policy to cover us if there were any delays with getting the keys.
The removal guys turned up and worked very hard and got my contents loaded and off to the new house in good time.
We then encountered problems obtaining the keys as there was a problem at the bottom of the chain (no fault of mine or Cheshire Removals). As the afternoon went on, there was more frustration and the removal guys left with our furniture, clothes, toiletries and medication without saying goodbye!
The office called me to say they would have to bring it back the next day but there will be a charge.
I received an invoice of £830 to bring my things back the next day, which I had no choice to pay. When I asked about the policy we had paid for to cover any additional charges due to late access to keys (which this clearly was) I was told this delay wasn't covered!
So it proved to be a very expensive and frustrating experience.

When my Father needed to move into a care home at short notice we required his flat to be cleared and all his belongings put into storage, Cheshire Removals were absolutely amazing and got everything organised, packed and removed within a few days!!! Arranging access and finally removal of the remaining items from storage and delivery to a relative couldn't have been made easier. 5 Star service throughout :-)

Nice, swift removal service with courteous staff. All arranged at short notice as well, which is something to be appreciated with the uncertainties that come with moving house.
The team arrived promptly on moving day and got to work straight away completing the move very efficiently. We will keep Cheshire Removals in mind for our next house move!

I booked last minute, and nothing was too much trouble and the move was smooth and stress free from first speaking to them. Quote came quickly. I booked dismantling and rebuilding the beds on the morning of the move. All items taken to the rooms I wanted.

A great team of Dave, Austin and Tom. Arrived at the arranged time and had us aĺ packed up and ready to go before lunchtime. We had a bit of a wait for keys and then everything was taken off the van and taken to the correct rooms that we had allocated. A real professional team indeed. Pleasant, smiling and they kept reassuring us that all was well and everything was handled with great care.

Great bunch of people. Were quick and efficient.
Reception staff are on the ball too. So all in all a great experience.

It was a stress free experience due to the incredible removal personnel, Dave and Tom. Would recommend this company because they were both professional and helpful.

Had to arrange house move with 5 days notice and this company stepped up to the plate. The guys who came to us were absolutely brilliant.
However, as keys were released late, the system in place meant that the lads are instructed to leave at 4pm. If our stuff couldn't be moved into new property by that time, it would have to be taken into storage and then redelivered at a later date and considerable cost. We felt very stressed on top of normal moving, although in fairness, we were advised of this rule before signing up for service. You just hope that it will never come to that or there is a normal plan in place, should this happen but there isn't. It was all out of our control due to legal system and lettings agents. Thought we would end up on the street for the weekend; us and our elderly Collie! BUT NO! The lads agreed to stay and work late to help us as we are both elderly and poorly. God Bless them! It could have been very different without their kindness.For that reason, 4 stars given

First class service from Kevin and the team moved us into a first floor apartment with no problems,handled all our property with the utmost care and attention wouldn’t hesitate to use Cheshire removals again

Janet and Paula were very helpful and understanding about our stress levels before the move.
On the day, the lads showed up right on time and put in hours of graft to make the move as quick and painless as possible.
They were a good laugh as well. Cracked on and we were in before we knew it.

Great service

We recently used this moving company to pack and move us from our old house into our new four-storey Victorian property, and I can honestly say they were outstanding from start to finish.

The team arrived on time, were calm, professional, and extremely respectful of both properties and our belongings. Their packing was meticulous — everything was carefully wrapped, labelled, and handled with obvious experience and care. Nothing felt rushed or careless.

What impressed me most was how they handled the challenges at the new house. Parking is awkward and access isn’t straightforward, and with four floors to navigate, it would have been easy for the process to become stressful or chaotic. Instead, they approached it methodically and positively. They worked incredibly hard, remained courteous throughout, and never once made the logistical difficulties feel like a problem.

They also showed great judgement in placing items in the correct rooms, which made unpacking far easier than expected.

Moving house is inherently stressful, but their professionalism, attitude, and work ethic made the entire experience smooth and reassuring.

I would recommend them without hesitation. A first-class service.
