The assistant at the Beckenham shop was lovely. but the size 4 boots were too small. They look very warm.

I went to Clarks in Beckenham high street yesterday to get some new school shoes for my daughter and I had a really smooth and enjoyable experience with that purchase.
Charles looked after us and after he told me it was his first day as a sale assistant I decided to write this review as I received some excellent customer service! Thank you!

Poor communication re delivery. We went to the branch in Beckenham on the Sunday on the off chance the shoes had arrived as they were due the Friday. They said no. I checked online and with UPS to discover that HAD been delivered on the Tuesday! We went in on the Monday and the shop was mobbed.. Bank Holiday. We waited an hour - told ‘it was busy’ but many people were served before us while we waited. Finally told by the manger that they had not yet arrived and to try the next day. We showed them the UPS info stating it had been the manager himself who had signed for the shoes! My wife then indicated a pile of shoes behind the counter and indeed my daughter’s shoes were located there. There was one worker there who appeared concerned but really disappointing treatment.

Fantastic 5 star customer service in Clarks Beckenham today! Made my two children’s school shoe measuring and fitting super stress free. Clarks Beckenham is a fabulous shop with very nice people. Sonja helped us out quickly and very professionally. I can only recommend it!

We were served by Sonja in the Beckenham store for my daughter’s school shoes. She was so good with our daughter and spoke to her using her name and making sure that she was involved in the process and that it was a good fit whilst also ensuring that the shoes were appropriate for her uniform. A credit to the team and will make sure I come back again!

Alex the Manager in Beckenham was very patient and helpful with new shoes. Took his time to ensure the right size was bought.

Slightly dreading the school shoe purchase but Paige (Beckenham branch) made it seamless. She measured my son’s feet, talking to him the whole time to make him comfortable. We found a pair we liked following her recommendation (durable toe!) and she explained the fitting process well, even reassuring me with the 3month fit guarantee. Left with a happy child with his new shoes.

Today we went to get my son’s first school shoes at the Beckenham store. Alex was very helpful and understanding and great with my son. He helped me choose the best shoes for my son who has wide feet and an issue with his toes. Plus a 3 month fit guarantee. Great service, thank you!

Totally recommend this store. Realised this afternoon my son's school shoes had fallen apart so we needed to urgently get some new ones and arrived just 15 minutes before closing time. Leah was great and could not have been more helpful finding us the perfect shoes Excellent customer service.
