Problème coloris visuel dont les coloris diffèrent
Tant qu'il n'y a pas de problème tout va bien ! Cependant, lorsque vous choisissez un coloris sur le site, vous vous attendez à avoir à minima les mêmes couleurs. Et lorsqu'on contacte le service client, ça devient compliqué pour leur faire entendre que le coloris reçu diffère de celui commandé. Ils ne remettent pas en question la photo sur leur site alors que l'on retrouve la même référence avec un autre ton sur amazone par exemple ????
DMC cross stitch kit
I was bought a DNC cross stitch kit as a gift. On opening it I find that the design chart does not relate to the kit. I have emailed Dmc twice without any response.
I and numerous of my friends have always used DMC threads, kits etc but the lack of response is dreadful.
I will not be using their sewing items again. I belong to a large group of ladies who all use DMC threads but in future I will not be recommending them and will look at alternative providers for kits and threads, as will my friends.
What a dreadful company, they do not deserve the business.

I questioned a promotion that they didn’t honor. I had the promotion in my cart, when I came back the next day it was gone. The customer service person called me a lair twice and said it was NEVER in my cart. The promotion clearly stated it went through Feb 15th. Customer service told me it ended many days before I even attempted to order on the 15th. I can buy 6 strand thread many places, I am not accepting this HORRIBLE treatment from them.
I deleted my DMC account, unfollowed on social media…. I’m done with this company.

Order placed 24 December 2025 (£270).
After repeated chasers, the order was dispatched on 15 January 2026, split into three parcels.
One parcel was delivered on 16 January 2026 by DPD in a badly damaged condition and was reported immediately.
Two parcels were never delivered. Courier tracking confirms they were returned to your premises due to “insufficient packaging”, meaning delivery to my address never occurred.
Despite multiple emails, you have provided no response, no refund, no replacement, and no engagement whatsoever.
Serious Trading and Consumer Law Failures
Your actions and continued silence constitute clear breaches of statutory trading obligations, including but not limited to:
Consumer Rights Act 2015 – failure to deliver goods and supply goods of satisfactory quality
Retailer responsibility for safe delivery and adequate packaging
Failure to engage in post-sale dispute resolution, contrary to fair trading practices
Responsibility for delivery, packaging, and condition of goods lies entirely with the retailer. Courier issues do not remove or reduce your legal liability.

If I could give zero stars I would! The WORST customer service, I am trying to cancel an order it has been a week and had NO REPLY and what is my surprise to see they sent the order and still no reply and no refund!!!
Not to mention the many times I received parcels creased and in bad conditions, honestly I regret a lot still trying to buy from them. I don't reccomend to anyone.

Still waiting 5 weeks after placing order
Not impressed. I placed an order for Cotton Perle thread and some waste canvas on the 18th September, mainly as Cotton Perle isn’t so easy to source. Well, 5 weeks later and I’m still waiting. Despite numerous emails, and apparently they’ve sent it twice but it doesn’t seem to get any further than Roissy Airport. What are they doing? Incompetence seems off the scale. I’ve now asked for a refund, so we’ll see what happens….

Received message on 24 May order on the way but tracking said details don’t exist. Wrote 3 emails with no answer. They also own many other brands like Rowan Yarns. This will affect my purchase of all products in the group.

Shockingly Bad Customer Service
Be aware if you still have an original stitch-a-photo order form (where you paid upfront for a form and an envelope to send a photo in return for a pattern) these will not be honoured. The company will direct you to order online where you will have to pay again. All further emails pointing this out and asking for a discount code since you've already paid will be ignored. There is no other means of contact. Shocking customer service. I used one of the free online pattern services instead.

I will never order from DMC again
I will never order from DMC again. The price of the storage drawers went down by $20 the day after I placed an order. They are not an itty-bitty company. If within a few days, they should be willing to price match out of courtesy and for customer satisfaction. It was the first and last time I will place an order with them.
The management has changed. Zero service today.
Different management and zero service today. If not outright arrogant and obnoxious treatment from new management. After over 20 years of being customers we had to slam the door. Stay away by all means! More reliable companies exist with no harm done.

There is a review under my name for DMC which I did not write, in fact I was very disappointed with my order and I am still waiting for a response and a resolution. I will probably not order from DMC online again. This is the first time I have ever written a negative comment about anything.

I ordered a vintage box with 120 skeins. Ordering was easy and the order shipped the next day from ordering. However the “track order” link in my email didn't work. After waiting for a week I emailed DMC about the tracking code and what website to use.
They replied the same day and gave me different tracking code and didn't mention anything about the delivery company.
The previous email said just “delivery: Ziegler” and I could find a few different websites but didn't know which to use.
When asking again how to track it they said “My software informs me that your order will be delivered by private parcel.” Thanks…
After reading other comments here I was worried for another week. That's why I want to give a full story now.
My order arrived today! I got a vintage box in its own box, well packed and skeins in their own box. The delivery driver called me 15 minutes before. Luckily I was at home today. But maybe this part is for the delivery company.
Terrible customer service
I was charged with the product, but did not receive an order confirmation upon purchase, I sent this to multiple email accounts and went to their socials to message about it, it took 3 days to get a response and they sorted it from there. After that, it took a good week+ to send it out. Got to me a week+ later which I'm happy with, but regardless this business is abysmal for responses and having a proper website to purchase products from. I'd advice to not purchase here if possible, unlucky for me I could only purchase the product I wanted to surprise my fiance with on her birthday through here. Again, if you can avoid purchasing here, please do so to save yourself the heartache of possibly losing upto 1k AUD like I felt like I did
