So many reasons not to attend
I can't speak to the quality of lessons as I was not allowed to attend with my child, but in order to make a lesson you must interact with their beligerant staff and archane website. This is a problem because the website, although it does have a framework for scheduling lessons, is only functional for processing payment, the lessons need to be scheduled by phone but the staffing has no coherent structure. We were told to schedule the first lesson with Staff1 who said the lesson was 30 min and we needed to be there 30 min early, so a total of 1hr. When we showed up 37 min early and eventually found someone, which was difficult due to a lack of signage, we were told by apparently frustrated Staff2 that we were early although we soon learned from Staff3that we were only 7 min early, no greeting, no name no niceties!?! Staff3 then informed us that staff1 doesn't have any idea what she's talking about! This was not the only instance of an employee insulting another employee in our presence. Apparently the first 30 min is for tack up, the next 30 min is for the lesson propper and the final 30 min is for untacking!, So 90 min total!?! Staff3 then eagerly offered to skip the final 30 min, we insisted that we wanted our daughter to have the full experience but in the end they didn't let my child untack, claiming that another child had a lesson.
On top of that whole debacle they tried to say we hadn't paid and then demanded three times what a lesson costs. Only a transaction number from my bank was good enough as proof that I had paid, they refused a copy of my bank statement!
In addition we have waited as much as three days for a telephone response.
This is not the totality of the situation but it's all I've got the energy for right now. I'll just finish with my feeling which is that for whatever reason the staff at earthbound stables are trying to get us not to attend! Discrimination?
