Great trip well organised with a great group of people

I was fortunate enough to win an Instagram competition with Endeavours and went on a skydive! It was my first experience of a dive and was an unreal experience. The team were super supportive and attentive - highly recommend and thanks again!

I did the Three Peaks Challenge with Endeavours Adventures and the entire group had a pretty bad experience. I should preface this saying we have all been offered a generous partial refund or other options and been told they’re working on making this experience better.
Some of the main things that happened during our challenge were:
1) We got picked up more than two hours late with the coach due to travel, which I’m aware is not EA’s fault, but it seemed like there was no contingency in the schedule and a coach is usually already slower than a normal car…
2) No one summited Ben Nevis. There was some miscommunication between the mountain guide and the EA representative, which resulted in us turning around to make the 24h time limit - many people were frustrated afterwards because they felt we had already “failed” the challenge.
3) Despite most people feeling really low after the first mountain, it took several hours on the coach before the EA rep told us what the plan for the rest of the challenge was.
4) The coach couldn’t drive to the visitor centre at Scafell Pike, which added an extra 2 miles to our trail (for some people 4 miles, because they made them walk it both ways).
5) When we were on the mountain, a thunderstorm hit (again, obviously not their fault but for context). The faster group then got back to the coach, ready to warm up again and found that a window had been smashed because the driver had reversed into a roadsign. Because the EA rep was in the slower group, it took another hour of us waiting on the cold bus for them to get back to sort it.
6) Instead of being able to deal with the window, they realised they had miscounted the group and a girl was missing. It took 2 hours to get her back to the coach cause she had stayed at the visitor centre after the group had left without her.
7) There was no communication what would be done about all these things.
8) We drove some time to find a service station to deal with the broken window. To be fair, we didn’t have any service where we were parked, so couldn’t reach anyone, but in my opinion driving to the next village would have done the job.
9) The service station was closed at 5am on a Sunday, so we waited 2 hours for a replacement bus (which we could have also done in a village closer by without having to drive with a broken window for so long).
10) After all this, we obviously didn’t get to climb Snowdon - it was far too late for that, people were cold, someone had hurt their knee and no one had much motivation left.
11) Overall, the concept of letting people who’ve never climbed a mountain before take on a challenge like this, baffles me. A challenge with more time allocated might work but without proper training and experience in the mountains, this challenge is dangerous.
The founder reached out to us in a timely manner, apologised and assured us actions were being taken to prevent this from happening again. I still feel like this shouldn’t have happened in the first place and would not recommend this company.

Incredible trip, met some amazing new people, and had an amazing experience whilst raising a significant amount for charity

Transparent communication, great organisation, and lovely people make Endeavours a great organisation to be partnered with. Our fundraisers love taking on their challenges and we love working with them!

In 2022 I took part in the Iceland Fire and Ice Trek as a Team Leader and it was an amazing experience that I'll never forget. From the start of the year, I received the help that I needed to recruit and support my team of participants to reach their fundraising targets and feel confident in the lead up to the trek. The trek itself was a challenge but so much fun. We had an experienced and knowledgeable guide who made sure we were all okay throughout and the views were surreal. The trip was organised incredibly by the EA team. I would definitely go on more of the challenges they offer and would recommend taking part to anyone!

I was lucky enough to be a part of Endeavours Adventures international challenge to Peaks of the Balkans. The whole trip was incredible, and a once in a lifetime experience which I’ll remember for a lifetime. The support from the staff, and the organisation of the trip from start to end was brilliant. I couldn’t recommend this company more
