Fraud management service @ £1.50+VAT / month has been fraudeulently added to my customer's invoices for the past 12 months.
This is a desperate way to loose what customers you have left, by breaching our trust.

Items have been billed for that I never asked for
Gradwell have always been excellent, and I'm sure they always will be.
Recently though - I noticed my/our bill had jumped.
Its on direct debit.
I took a look after 2 months and found Two new Line items called
a) Fraud Management
b) Dark Web Monitoring
I have never asked for them, do not want them - and yet I'm being billed.
I emailed sales and then support - but no response.
I phoned and was told to email cancellations at gradwell dot com.
I'll see what the response is and update this review.
It doesnt sound like the company I have known for the last 10 years - and I dont think this 'sounds like' Mr. Peter Gradwell.
Sometimes these companies take on new investors, new 'management' - who creatively come in with ways to boost revenue.
I usually find that backfires.

Great service offering for small businesses and individuals needing to get a virtual land line VOIP service.
Helpful technical technical team support when the gremlins get in, my experience is problems resolved quickly and smoothly. 99.9% of the time it works problem free and all at a very competitive rate.
Highly recommended.

All trust with Gradwell is gone
Gradwell opt you into services you didn't ask for, and seem to find lots of ways to load your bill with extra charges, even charging you to leave their service after nine years relying on a complex menagerie of terms and conditions to claim, at a basic level, that they can charge whatever they want.
I saved £100/month by moving to an alternative provider. All trust is gone with Gradwell, they treat small businesses like their piggy bank to dip into at will.

Gradwell has provided me with an excellent service for many years since I decided to switch over to an IP phone system for my business and my home. Both telephone numbers were ported and connected to my pbx via IAX links. I have found the service very professional, without any technical problems, and it very easy to contact the appropriate person for administration or technical purposes.

They add and opt customers into a services you never asked for without your permission.…
Gradwell has opted its customers into Safeweb Dark Web monitoring without permission, which is a very dubious practice. UK law allows you to cancel it and refund it after the fact as you never asked for it; it is covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Specifically, Section 24. This is a really stupid approach by this company that has gone so far downhill in the last few years, from being excellent to being dodgy.
The only place this company is going is bankrupt due to its sketchy practices.
What is wrong with this company's management? Are they so lazy that they can only use scam techniques to increase profit? How can something so good go so wrong? Did they hire people who used to run the UK Post Office to its management team who ran Horizon? The management has demonstrated that it is not good and will end this company by its laziness and greed, which borders on alleged criminal actions.

Exceptional service from start to…
Exceptional service from start to finish. After having difficulties with an existing provider and being ignored I contacted Gradwell to enquire about the Wave service for our office phones. Within ten minutes I'd received full information and a quotation and within two days we'd received our new phones and the service was live. No messing about to set them up, literally plug in the cable and they auto configured. Call quality is great and customer service are very attentive. Cassie is great and has excellent knowledge of the system.
Gradwell opts you into services you didn't ask for.
Like others I too have been opted into a SafeWeb monthly subscription via a "free trial" without my permission and without requesting it.
This is very shabby business practice.
Do not deploy "free trials" onto your customers that auto-bill after the 30 days are up without their permission.

They have started to opt customers in to things they never requested or required. Safe Web £10 for example, stop wasting my time having to get it removed, value your customers or you won't have any.

My company needed a US number, so I called Gradwell and was told someone would call me back, I received a call within 1 hour from Blair Jenkins. He was amazing from start to finish. He was helpful, professional and very efficient my number was live within a couple of days. Blair even helped with the onboarding and billing to ensure that the process was smooth. Thank you Blair.
Huge issues with Microsoft Outlook and…
Huge issues with Microsoft Outlook and not being able to send to certain email address which are detrimental to our business. Sheena was persistent and managed to solved the issue that was persistent for a number of weeks. She was able to manage both myself and Microsoft effectively. I'm really pleased the problem has been fixed.
Very dissatisfied with Gradwell account security.
My company had been a customer of Gradwell for many years, using their phone services. This ended today.
Last year, my company was a victim of fraud. The fraudsters contacted Gradwell and they were unable to provide Gradwell with the security PIN on the account, so Gradwell should have terminated the call.
Instead, Gradwell asked for the bank account number registered on the account. Since the fraudsters had the information on hand and provided it, Gradwell deemed this sufficient to put a redirect on my business phone line. During the redirect, my company's login information was reset at a financial institution.
Fortunately, the fraud was detected and there was no long-term loss. When I attempted to take Gradwell to task and explain that their security policy was too weak, they dug in their heels and insisted that it is secure. They repeatedly refused to accept that the security mechanism needed review.
To add insult to injury, they started charging an additional fee for a "fraud management service".
All they had to do was accept that a mistake had been made and indicate that their policies had been tightened. Instead, they chose to ignore a problem.
They repeatedly failed to log the long support ticket chain as a complaint and simply started ignoring communications.
Knowing what I know now, I would never trust Gradwell with a phone number linked to any form of online financial system. Hopefully they will realise that for many companies, bank account details are not private and certainly should never be relied upon in answers to security questions.
