Hive Summer School 

At Weybridge the camp was on rivers's edge, and its a deep river over the head of most participants. That is a serious issue they must and can address, with the right equipment.

Our daughter really enjoyed her two days at Hive this Easter with Rob and the team. It was the perfect balance for us, something I wish we’d known about when our son was that age. Rob and his team gave it a really personal feel, seemed to engage with each child and were incredibly reassuring and welcoming. I was worried my daughter wouldn’t keep up with the academic material but she came home incredibly confident and proud of herself… Lucy (one of the tutors) obviously did a wonderful job. My daughter also really loved the canvas painting and clay modelling! We’ll certainly be back… thank you Rob, Lucy, Rob Senior and Liz!

My daughter absolutely loved it, she learnt so much and had a lot of fun! When I told her I had signed her up for 3 days of summer school, she was very cross with me, but by the end of the first day she was saying that she can’t wait for the next one! Huge thanks to Rob and his team for creating such a balanced program between academic and fun activities! We will definitely be coming again!

Absolutely great experience! My son loved it so much. I booked just for one day to see if he likes it. Ended up booking the whole week because he just kept talking about it all the time. Lots of brain activities followed by cricket, football and cross training outside. Highly recommend!

Rob and his team are fantastic. From the communication to the clubs the kids really enjoyed themselves. We have around 4 clubs around us in walking distance and even more by car but this is the one my son and nephew were desperate to go to every time it was on.

When I told my son he'd be attended a summer school he had the biggest sulk! Thanks to Rob and the team he has been asking if they do it every school break! He enjoyed every bit of it . It was a great balance of a little work and fun. Kept his head in the game . Thank you guys so much and see you next year.

My son had an amazing time. He said the learning was fun and he came back to tell me what he had learnt. When the 2 days were over he was eager to return. He could have done it all week. I loved it was a balance of education and activity based holiday camp. Look forward to more camps like this.

My son really enjoyed his time at Hive. He came out chatting about the events of the day in detail and couldn’t wait to go back. He made some lovely friends as well. A big thank you to Rob and team for being so welcoming.

Both my daughters (9 & 11) attended Hive Summer School and really loved it. They were keen not to be separated as they both take a while to warm up, the learning content and environment stimulated both of them despite their age difference. They came out each day telling me all about the fun they had and are keen to do it again! They said it was the best summer camp they’ve done (and they’ve done quite a few!)

She is willing to share what she has learnt and research further topics independently and with her already attending Townley Grammar school.

You know something is good when your child asks to go back even when it’s related to school work! Huge thanks to Rob and the Hive team. She’s been keen to share what she has learnt and further investigate topics in her own time especially one on the Enigma machine. Therefore a great concept and it definitely hit the right note for my daughter before she starts secondary school.

From the first day to the last my son has throughly enjoyed attending Hive summer school. He loves the interactive classwork in the morning and the fun activities in the afternoon. The balance is just right. Rob and his team are wonderful teachers and my son has been coming home so happy that he can't wait to go back the next day.

As a parent, I find the balance between continued learning in the morning, and lots of fun and games in the afternoon, a brilliant way to keep my son’s brain ticking over throughout the summer. He has found the learning fun and always beams about his day the moment he gets in the car - he particularly loved the ‘murder mystery’ themed Maths lesson a few weeks ago! He has also loved the inflatable gladiator dual and the arts and crafts.

Thank you to Rob and his team for putting so much hard work in to making it such a refreshingly fun summer camp. We will be back!
