To every person in UK, avoid this company, they are a bunch of robbers in a group of 5 to 6. I have warned WOWCHER, contacted police, keep well away, please book with major holiday companies. They stole nearly £1000.00 from my account. I have been chasing them buy to no avail. Keep well away from them

Misold city break

I bought a highly discounted city break to Venice for my wife's 40th birthday, though Wowcher. I was told to redeem to the vouchers to gain access to flight info and travel plans. I received two options for flights. Only the 2nd option is costing me nearly £250. Also on the booking we got an option of two hotels. But upon speaking to prime holidays I was told only one hotel is available for my dates. I asked if they had another option on hotel. I got offered a better hotel... They didn't give me chance to look properly at the new hotel. They wanted an answer on the phone. I said yes to the hotel. But it was costing me another £100. So my discounted city break is now too expensive.As it was days after I bought the deal. I requested a refund! They've denied me a refund and are not replying to my attempts to contact them. I've contacted Wowcher many times. They say they're dealing with it. But I'm still out nearly £1000 and no closer to a refund! This company are con artists. Please nobody have any dealings with this sick company! All I want is my refund!

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH PRIME HOLIDAYS OR WOWCHER. WHAT A JOKE OF BOTH COMPANIES. SEEMS EVERY REVIEW IS THE SAME. PAID EXTRA FOR FLIGHT TIMES, TO THEN HAVE THEM CHANGE - MORE THAN 12 HOURS DIFFERENCE. FIGHTING FOR REFUND AS THATS CLASSED AS A MAJOR CHANGE THROUGH THE CAA. I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER AS FAR AS POSSIBLE IF IT MEANS GETTING JUSTICE AND MONEY WHICH IS RIGHTFULLY MINE AND FOR FLIGHTS THAT WERE MISSOLD.

Refusing to refund me and/or provide me with a deadlock letter

I have given them an hour to issue a refund which I doubt I'll get. They'll go on either ignoring my messages or telling me I am not entitled to a refund which is illegal as they have not provided a service

I am escalating this further with trading standards and travel ombudsman. Wowcher have also been silent in this. They are compliant in these fraudulent adverts, practices and promoting a company that is not ATOL protected and steals money

Update to my previous review 51416755

An update to my previous review left in March, I have now requested my fully entitled to refund from Prime Holidays several times, explaining that under UK consumer law I am well within my rights to receive my full refund after first request, this was met with a reply of refusal, followed by an utterly unbelievable laughable complete lie that my only option left now is to take an offer of a ridiculous up sell holiday option and part with even more money with them and complete my booking. Again I have gone back to them and said I want my refund and that they are now breaking UK laws and are unlawfully witholding my money and I will be preparing to make a full detailed report to the travel ombudsman and trading standards should I not receive my refund. I again received a similar refusal, up sell reply from them and have now officially lodged 2 separate reports to the relevant authorities and have been also advised that what they are doing is illegal and my case will be accepted and it and prime holidays will be fully investigated into. I am currently awaiting a response after informing them that I had gone ahead and officially placed the reports and of the expert advice I was given that prime holidays will be fully investigated into on my behalf.

Very rude customer service

Very rude customer service. No manners to talk. No effort to help me with a good service and adheres to my request. Once they had my money they did not bother to help me at all. There is a lady name Zoe, she is so rude. I would not book with Prime Holidays again and will not recommend.

Scammed and awaiting refund

Day 3 of still waiting for Prime Holidays to refund a holiday they could not provide.

I was told flights were available and my booking had gone through. I was then told I would receive airline confirmation shortly.

That confirmation never arrived.

As the departure date got closer, communication became more and more suspicious. I was due to fly within 2 days and still had no proof of any actual flights. Every time I asked for confirmation, I got vague answers and excuses.

I directly asked them to provide evidence the flights were real.
They could not do it.

Instead, the conversation quickly changed to:
“Your voucher is non refundable”
followed by attempts to get more money from me for different flights from different locations.

So somehow the original flights supposedly existed when taking my booking, but suddenly disappeared once payment and personal details had been collected?

That is not acceptable.

Customers should not be pressured into paying extra money because a company cannot fulfil what was originally sold. If flights were never genuinely secured, then customers are being seriously misled.

I am documenting everything carefully and continuing to give Prime Holidays the opportunity to resolve this before taking the matter further.

At this point, the easiest solution is simple:
Refund the money and stop ignoring customers.

Prime Holidays - Avoid

After purchasing 2 Holiday vouchers for a 3 nights stay in Rome through Wowcher, I was contacted by Prime Holidays. I was offered a "holiday" with bad flights times meaning we would land in Rome at 11:55pm, making our first “night” in Rome approx 5 mins and mainly spent within an airport.

I was offered alternatives with add on prices. Basically what Prime Holidays were saying it would cost me another £200.00 but I would also have to travel from an undesirable airport and stay in a hotel way out of the city - again not as described.

Totally unaccepable and I terminated our call saying I wanted a full refund. I was not getting what I was expecting or had been advertised.

I have left negative reviews for both Wowcher and Prime Holidays.

AVOID purchasing these vouchers at all costs.

I have requested a full refund which I haven't yet received, with Prime Holidays stating I was cancelling due to “not wanting to pay for an upgrade” which isn’t factual

I strongly advise avoiding Prime…

I strongly advise avoiding Prime Holidays at all costs. They appear to operate in a highly deceptive way, initially offering attractive prices but later charging significantly more than expected for booking trips. The lack of transparency and unexpected extra fees make the whole experience frustrating and untrustworthy. If you’re planning a trip, it’s much safer to book through a reputable and well-reviewed company to avoid unnecessary stress and financial loss.

Can I give zero stars?
Wowcher purchased for what seemed like a great deal. Required to redeem voucher in order to start communicating with Prime Holidays. Yes, a holiday could be booked at the original price but once better flights were calculated it was much more expensive. Therefore I wished to refund. And there is the problem. Prime Holidays state it cannot due to the voucher being redeemed, however wowcher's own terms state that even a redeemed voucher can be refunded if a holiday isn't booked - which it isn't!
Very poor response from Prime Holidays. Their default response is to essentially offer credit for another holiday, completely bypassing wowcher's terms.
Terrible company. You have been warned.

Untrustworthy, unreliable and poor communication - team of cash grabbers who waste peoples time by not providing the full truth behind these “cheap holidays” - DO NOT book with them, whether it’s directly or Wowcher - absolute waste of time

Paid £298 yesterday for a Wowcher…

Paid £298 yesterday for a Wowcher Voucher for a 3 day holiday to Venice - was really excited as this was a surprise for my husbands birthday.
Upon calling me not even 24 hours later after I had redeemed the voucher I was faced with terrible flight times(arriving at midnight), to an airport that’s is miles away from the accommodation (€60-€120 in a taxi).

To which the obvious response I was unhappy but this could only be changed at an additional cost to me of £200, which I was completely unaware of prior to booking and for this I expressed that I felt I had been mis-sold.
Was told there was no chance of refund as I had redeemed the voucher, so £300 down, no holiday for us and no free options to change our flights to something at least slightly reasonable, I even expressed how I did not mind the time of arriving at midnight if we were landing at the closer airport but again this would’ve been at an huge extra cost.
Devastated, £300 down in this current climate and completely unhelpful staff.

This company is a scam, fraudulent and falsely advertising and charging for holidays that dont exist.
They are NOT Atol, even though they claim to be. This is one hell of a dodgy company.
DO NOT USE!
For those who used wowcher, get a lawyer to write them a letter, post on socials and trustpilot DAILY, eventually you will get a refund.
And report them via citizen advise to trading standard.

Update on my ongoing case with Wowcher and Prime Holidays.
I am now extremely concerned that the holiday I purchased may not actually be booked at all, despite both companies insisting it is “confirmed”.

1. The hotel cannot confirm any booking
My daughter phoned the hotel directly. They:
• Could not find any reservation in her name
• Told her she must “confirm with the booking agent” — even though she never said she used an agent
• Refused to confirm anything and ended the call
This strongly suggests the booking does not exist.

2. The hotel email address provided is invalid
The email address on the Prime Holidays documents bounced with a DNS error, meaning it does not exist. This makes it impossible to verify the booking.

3. ATOL concerns have now been escalated
I have concerns about this ATOL certificate showing ATOL 3928. I have now submitted a full report to the CAA ATOL Compliance Team for investigation.

4. Mis selling issues remain unresolved
• Dates changed after payment
• No hotel choice offered
• No gondola ride offered
• Downgraded to room only
• Flight arrives after hotel check in closes

5. Prime Holidays have ignored multiple emails
Both my daughter and I have emailed repeatedly and received no response. This silence is now part of the evidence submitted to regulators.

6. Actions taken
• Formal dispute raised with my bank
• Report submitted to Trading Standards
• Report submitted to CAA ATOL Compliance
• Final escalation messages sent to both Wowcher and Prime Holidays

At this point, I simply want a fair resolution and a refund for a holiday that appears to be mis sold, unconfirmed, and potentially not financially protected.
I will continue to update this review as the investigations progress.

To all the people who used Wowcher to…

To all the people who used Wowcher to book with Prime Holidays - put a review on TP for Wowcher. They check these. After doing this I did get a full refund. Id sent them messages, screenshots of other reviews every day. Dont waste your time with Prime Holidays, but don't give up on Wowcher. Persistence pays off. Good luck

I BROUGHT 2 WOWCHERS FOR VENICE IN MAY. Same thing happened to me and many other negative reviews. Avantika from prime holidays should be ashamed. This company should not be able to trade and wowcher need to be held responsible as well. PRIME HOLIDAYS OWES THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK.

THEY OFFERED ME FLIGHTS THAT NEVER EXISTED FROM SOUTHEND.

I accepted not knowing it was a scam.

AND THEN AVANTIKA TOLD ME IT WAS SOLD OUT ONLY HOURS AFTER I ACCEPTED.

THEN THEY WANTED ME TO UPGRADE AND SEND THEM MORE MONEY LIKE I WAS STUPID.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO CONTACT TRADING STANDARDS ABOUT THESE PEOPLE.

WOWCHER NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS SCAM BUSINESS NOW.

They are telling me I can’t get a refund. But what they advertised was fake and wowcher are refusing to refund either. I will be leaving negative reviews on a daily basis until I get a refund.

If you see a deal thats too good to be…

If you see a deal thats too good to be true on wowcher, it is.

Honestly the worst booking experience of anything in my life, a group of 4 of us wanted to go on a trip to milan but bookings had to be made seperately for financial reasons.

We booked 3 vouchers on one booking and 1 more ticket on another.
Anyone with a brain can do the maths and see that 3+1 can be split into 2+2 and there would be no issue.
but prime holidays don't have brains and want additional costs for both bookings.

I cant afford the additional costs and they wont refund me, so im out of luck.

not to mention the flights are in the middle of the night to an airport thats further away, i can pay an additional £110 to have all people on the same flight but its still in the middle of the night and 50+km away from the hotel and theres no public transport at that time!!!

dont book with them
