Hen party was more like a funeral
We booked a hen party bottom less brunch with buff waiters which costs almost £80 each!
We first arrived to be told the table was all set up looking fabulous for us. It was a bench under cover outside that had placemats and knives and forks on. We had champagne glasses and 2 pots of fake flowers at either end of the table.
We were then told before the bride arrived there was no sangria about 2.15 when we had specifically booked this. The waitress said she would speak to the manager and then we had no further communication or anything until 2.30 when only 2 jugs of sangria came out when we had ordered those Passionfruit Martinis and Sex on the Beaches.
When the brunch started the buff waiters arrived fully clothed with little enthusiasm and comply patted the bride on the head poured the drinks then left. The music was the likes of Lewis kapaldi, Adele, and snow patrol. Absolutely nothing that you could dance to or the waiters dance to which was what we saw on the promo video and what made us book it.
We asked for more lively party music music I was told
'like what' I said shania Twain this then proceeded to play and reverted back to what seemed like a funeral playlist. We asked again to be told 'what did we expect on a Monday at 2.30!'
The buff waiters couldn't dance to the music didn't engage with us, we're not in the buff didn't speak much to us just were glorified waiters so we paid £12ph pp for a waiter to serve our drinks which we would have got free.
The Sangria ran out after 62 of the 90mins so was not bottomless and the food for a brunch was 3 items of frozen pieces of chicken and a wedge. Absolutely rip off!
The staff in the bar were disgustingly rude to us as a hen party completely ruined the experience and I'm current waiting for a manager to give the feedback to as it was appalling and I would not suggest you do anything for anything special with them as they do not care about you or give you the experience you have been told and paid for getting.
Avoid at all costs!!!!!
