The Hotel is ok but reservation process is really bad
We have been there a couple of times. We asked for reservation by mail, and typically we had a fairly quick reply with an offer. When we replied to the offer and accepted, nothing happens.
First time, we mailed again..after 3 months, and then finally got a confirmation mail. Later, I called and asked for an extra bed, again no reply, so I called them again, and the answer was of course (wondering why I asked) everything is ok.
Second time, same story but even worse. Mailed them for renting two apartments, had an offer, replied with acceptance, and assumed it was reserved. Later we would like an extra bed again, and mailed them. No reply, but since this was the same as last time I did not pay a lot of attention to that. 3 days before arrival, I called them to make sure about the extra bed, and they told me we had no rooms....They surely knew about my reservation, and I had a long story about somebody been on vacation, rooms then booked etc. Ok, mistakes happen, but a least they could have mailed me or called me when they discovered. Very bad service.
We had to cancel the trip, including all reservation made on car, ferry, restaurants etc. on the island.
