Great help from Rob at richer sounds , wanted a freely box he advised us on both it’s limitations and its positives.

Team member was brilliant and showed me some great options for future music system upgrades. Really passionate and knowledgeable and headphones I bought were at the best price by far compared to other shops and online. Amazing place.

The person who took my call was friendly and very helpful. It didn't take very long to place my order and I'm looking forward to taking delivery of my mini radio/CD player in mid July. I've dealt with Richer sounds a number of times over the years and it's always been a pleasant experience.

I was extremely disappointed with the courier, Furdeco. On Friday, they emailed me asking me to call them. I did, waited on hold for 20 minutes, and was then told there had been no need to contact me.

Then, on Monday, they came but did not knock on the door, and the delivery appeared to be missing. When I called, they said they could not come back because they were too far away. However, according to the tracking, they had been here only 10 minutes earlier, so how is that possible?

Fortunately, the shop staff found a reasonable solution.

Cable Guys Ltd, on the other hand, were very reliable and professional with the wall mount. Excellent service from them.

The staff at the Nottingham branch were great. The CD player I was interested in (Onkyo C30) had been removed from the company's website and the staff told me that new stock was not expected for another 6 months. However, they had one opened but unused in the store. They offered to sell it to me with an open box discount which I happily accepted. Easy transaction, with no sales pressure. I was very pleased. I would Highly recommend Nottingham Richer Sounds. The CD player is excellent too, well deserving of the good reviews it has received.

Fantastic service from the team at Nottingham. From start to finish they couldn’t do enough. 4 stars awarded purely on the basis that the installation contractor they recommended has be a huge let down and that they should have engaged with the Richer Sounds specialist team on my project from the start; otherwise it would have been a 5 star review and the fourth star is purely for Tim from the specialist team for being SO BRILLIANT!
I’ve had several issues with the installation contractor (Virtuoso AV) and this has left a bad taste from an overall good experience.

They where so helpful nothingn was to much very good service

I was feeling quite lost, trying to find the right setup for an old turntable that I'd been given by a relative. The abundance of choice and information on the Internet can be overwhelming for me, so I went for some in-person advice.
On my first visit into Richer Sounds, I was given clear, simple advice for what to look for. There wasn't any pressure to buy and I was given plenty of patience to ask any questions I had about the potential set up.
Afterwards, I found a model of speakers for a reasonable price that was luckily in stock at Richer Sounds. I booked in for a test with these speakers and a budget friendly pre-amp (chosen by the shop staff). When I next visited, I was brought into a separate room where I could test my turntable from home connected to the new speakers and pre-amp. I was very happy with the sound quality and decided to purchase the whole set up.

I'd certainly recommend Richer Sounds to those looking for anything hi-fi or TV related.

Good communication between stores. Bit of parking at the Notts store which is a benefit. Everything ready and the guy carried the tv to my car.

Proffesional service and a team that have worked together for years, are a breath of fresh air in these times of " we must meet targets and forget the customer service" I have used the nottingham shop for years and its great to see that nothing has changed in regards to how you are treated as a customer. Alex the manager as helpful as he always has been , along with great staff.
