Stole £460 after I cancelled – now only partial refund, still ignoring compensation

I signed up for 1to10x and immediately regretted it.

On 8th January 2026, I emailed to cancel. They confirmed in writing:
"Your application has been successfully cancelled. No further charges will be applied."

Then on 9th January they took £229.67 from my account.
On 12th January they took another £230.76.

Total stolen after confirmed cancellation: £460.43.

Update 18th February 2026:

They have now refunded £496.28 (appears on my statement as "1to10x usa debit card refund").

This confirms they admit the original charges were wrong.

But they still owe me:

£45.91 of what they originally stole (shortfall from the full £542.19)

£5,000 compensation for lost earnings (based on their own marketing claiming "$70,000–$100,000 entry salary"), plus distress, time theft, and deliberate misconduct

They are completely ignoring my compensation demand.

I am not alone.

Avoid this company. They steal after cancellation, then offer partial refunds and hope you go away.

$1,200 LOSS. Warning to all US students: This company is NOT Microsoft-affiliated as they claim. They are an overseas operation with NO support during US business hours.
• The Trap: They claim to be US-based, but live support is only at 1 AM–3 Pm CST, which clashes with normal sleep and work hours. Unacceptable support.
• The Lie: No official Microsoft partnership exists.
• The Service: Mentors are unprepared and don't know the material.
• The Refund: They stalled me day after day with "fixes" that never happened, then staff (specifically 'Rama') became hostile and denied my refund.
Total scam. They target working professionals, take your money, and disappear. Do not enroll.

1to10x appears to be misleading in its claim and operation the company operates from noida sector 63 india claming to have office in us and uk however these overse address is virtual address with no physical office the founder is a scammer they claim to provide placement assistance comunity acess and post bootcamp support bit not fulfilled and after attending the bootcamp they call you and ask to write a review for certification this is way of marketing this guys are doing scammers

Today marks the completion of the Agentic AI Masterclass. It has been awesome 1 month Journey learning about AI and the Agentic AI and how we can utilize that in our day to day work. I was able to complete a fully functional Web App that uses all the tools learnt in class. I was able to create a React based App connecting to a Web Socket which in turn connected to my MCP Server and finally the MCP server connecting to underlying Snowflake Database. I was able to achieve this without writing a single piece of Code. Everything was performed by AI. My experience with the class has been awesome. Thank you Anit and the whole 1to10x Team for the wonderful Training

It feels very different being taught by developers and not just theoretical tutors. Glad with every experience I have had on the 1to10x agentic Analytics course and AI Certification course.

Live, and the knowledge level of the mentor was awsome!!!. Clear and relatable experiences!!!!.

The GenAI x Data Analytics Masterclass was good. I've learned about the best of Instablogs Criticism, Turning Negativity into Power, The 2025 Agentic AI Revolution, Julius.ai, and Critical Decision.

This company is a proper scammers. They cla that they based in the United States. But they based in India. They will miss sold you their course and promise after 40 days you will get your full money back. But when you said the course is not for you and asked for your money back.they say you can come off the course and refuse to refund your money back. Please don't fall for their scam and miss sold course

Well they don't even deserve 1 Star. They are fraud. Worst customer service, make false promises and absolutely worse course I've ever had compare to that money value I've invested. They said this is a job guaranteed course but after course is finished they don't even know you. I should have checked the trust pilot review before enrollment, my biggest regret ever. Don't fall into a trap that you can cancel course if you don't like. There is no going back. They will never return your money.

I was sold the course mentioning that the course will have deep technical content and was offered money back guarantee. Withing two weeks, I asked to cancel the enrollment and the refund. I was asked to wait until 6 weeks before asking for refund.

I did that and for refund after 6 weeks. I was told, oh, you are late - 6 weeks from the date of enrollment, not from when you asked for the refund first time. I asked to transfer me to another more technical course, but they refused that request.

The course I was enrolled into was useless for me and I ended up wasting my money. Deeply disappointed.

Hello everyone !! i enrolled for the 1 to10x course of data analyst using AI and ML included with a microsoft certification from on dec 2024. Now I want to write a clear a detailed review of my experiences with this course, hoping to help the other to save their valuable time and money before investing in this course and to think twice before anyone enroll into this course.

COURSE MODULES AND EXPLINATION --
yes, i agree they have few brilliant instructors and also the course content is very comprehensive and very well upto date. all their classes were time constrained and they all will be blindly chasing the time to finish off their schedule with the pre allocated modules structure and it does'nt matter for them whether their class is following them or not, if any questions were asked in between they will be asked to book for a 1:1 session to clear their doubts where a completely different person sitting out their will answer to you and have no idea about what happened in the class and also this session also have a time constraint of just 1 hour where most of our time will be lost in making him understand what exactly happened in the class and where our doubts have arised.

FALSE CLAIMS ON GIVING PERSONAL SUPPORT IN JOB SEARCHING--

At the beginning of the course their narrative starts like this.. ANYONE WHO HVAE NO OR LITTLE KNOWLEDGE ON CODING CAN BE A DATA ANALYST AND WE CAN HELP YOU WITH EVERYTHING UNTILL YOU LAND IN A JOB.

yes, you saw that correct and thats what they say in all their sales calls after you attended their so called 2 day online free boot-camp. but the reality is they do absolutely nothing regarding this. my experience with this is:
* No support from the team after the course completion.
* False claims on providing the microsoft cerification.
* False claims on mentorship through a personal metor.
* Cannot even be able to interact with your peers from the same batch (they says its their policy but i hope they might not want everyone to come together and question them of all their false claims and wrong doing).
* all the job onboarding support that they mentions like linked in profile and CV review/customization or your portfolio building they just dump a bunch of pre recorded videos in their website and juts tells you to go ahead and do it yourself. my question here is you ask anyone who has no tech background or coding skills to enroll in this course and ask them to pay 1299 £ promising you help them in throughout their learning period and also to help them land in a job but at the completion of the course they just dump everything on their head and leave them clueless. i have seen several people from my batch of the course who have no knowledge on any tech and no coding skills and they were already struggling to catchup with everything and how come they all can do everything on their own with no help and even we all payed such huge amount not just for the course but also for the support that they promised to give for starting a career as a data analyst other wise this course is not worth of 1299 £ anyone can easily learn all they mentioned in the course in several online platforms which offers the same content for free.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE--
* good course content and some brilliant instructors like karthtik, elliot, goldi tiwari.
* No personal mentorship provided as they promised in the begining.
* False claims on microsoft certification.
No support for JOB ONBOARDING.
* No proper support for portfolio building or social profiles customization.
* once the course was finished thats it you get no support as I followed up my allocated mentor for help started ghosting me and not even hearing anything from their support team.
* Finally after paying 1299£ only useful thing i got was some helpful course content but nothing more from all they promised.

IMPORTANT--
i have noticed this patter from their recent reviews that they always ask their students from the recent ongoing batch to post their reviews to boot their visibility and trust worthiness and yes, as i mentioned before their course structure and content was good and also had some brilliant instructors but at last they wont provide you all of what they promises. so it is absolutely not reasonable and and worthy to pay such a huge amount with having high hopes for getting all the support you need to start a new career in tech for someone who has no prior knowledge.

Experience of mentors (Anant and Anit and 1to10x) not trainers showcasing challenges and solutions with alternate options with latent changes in AI world and push to be hands on exploring pitfalls and opportunities.

First day was sort of helpful, although I've noticed it's all prerecorded and hard sales pitch.
Second day, absolute disaster.
Presenters rushing in a pace no one could follow, attendies concerns dismissed with generic responses..
Who ever questioned them in the chat on their lies and manipulation about useless prerecorded content they tried to pass as a live workshop was silenced and removed.
So called experts no one ever heard of praising each other felt much like pyramid scheme.

Oh yeah, one of the requirements for getting a certificate for attending the course was submitting a positive feedback on social platforms and Trust pilot. They explicitly said they don't mind if you create a new account for that purpose as long as you send them a screenshot.
Now, if that doesn't tell you all you need to know...
Avoid if you don't want your pockets emptied with nothing in return.

Had a very productive 1st session. Rahul has been amazing. Covered the basis to build a strong foundation. Very interactive and approachable. Looking forward to the rest of the course.
