Company is in administration. I am chasing my money through the bank which operates the credit card.

Quick service but what's more they were extremely helpful and polite when dealing with my issues and questions because I am disabled. I could not ask for a better experience and will absolutely be buying from them again in the future.

Very responsive! I emailed them with a speculative query - about getting some replacement armrest pads for a discontinued office chair - and they were very helpful. They were able to supply the armpads for a very reasonable cost, sent me an online invoice, I paid, they dispatched the package same day. And thus was another really nice chair saved from the scrapheap!

Shocking experience.

Received a totally smashed chair and company has now gone into administration.

I never received the goods I paid for.

The positive is that what was delivered was excellent and has made working much more pleasant (even if I suspect the chair is not quite the one I ordered - but small matter).
My only negative is the length of time it took to get it. Purchased on 26 August, delivery expected 'within 9-10 working days' the chair actually arrived on 8 October, with fulsome apologies But I had to call more than once before things started moving. Some more information and tracking - and explanation on why any delay - would have been helpful. So, four stars not five but I would still recommend 2ndHand and will use them again.

Writing this review for people to see 2ND HND went into remission around October 19/20th but their website is still live meaning they can still take in your money. Google 2ND HND and look at the news tab. Links aren't allowed in reviews.

Bought a chair which came incomplete, uncleaned and with a sticker with a different product name. They offered a replacement despite now being sold out on their website - 'we keep some in our warehouse.' Two days later I reply after contacting Haworth to confirm the 'Comforto 69' I received was indeed a Zody and not a different chair. 2ND HND then told me a replacement was not an option. I asked how they sold out without any listings for the product and was told 'they sell fast.' During this exchange they told me the company was expanding (and went into remission 6 weeks later). I was offered a small refund and replacement for the missing item.

Missing item came, wasn't cleaned and without a tool for me to attach to the chair. Put it in a cupboard while I waited for the tool to be sent. First didn't arrive so they sent a second. What arrived wasn't a small wrench-type tool you would get in any flat pack furniture but the end bit for a screwdriver which wasn't even the right size so totally unstable to me. Turns out the lumbar support part I was sent before was actually broken so cant be attached anyway.

All this took over 6 weeks, I still don't have a complete chair and wont be getting one because the company has collapsed and there is no on there to respond to messages.

Seat and back rest nicely refurbished, few chips in paint on frame, which I thought from the picture was bare metal but was painted white. Delivery slower than promised, had to phone a couple of times for updates. All in all a great office chair that'll last for ages at a very reasonable price

Not only did I pay and have received nothing yet, but most frustrating they do not answer any emails! Stay away!

Paid £600 for a chair at start of September. Guess what, it hasn’t appeared. Last time they said “waiting for a part from US” - that should have been the warning something was wrong. Clearly knew they were in financial difficulties but still took money.

Great company, giving new life to quality products that would otherwise probably go to landfill. I could not have justified buying my new chair at its full retail price even though I sit all day for work. 2ndhnd gave me the opportunity to own an very high quality product at an affordable price and my back and I thank them. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was getting the best quality product and ensured it was delivered ahead of time. I can't say enough good things so I'll leave it there. Well done 2ndhnd.

I can see lots of negative reviews and some saying they have gone into administration. My experience was positive but that was back in June.

Ich habe am 22.08.22 einen Bürostuhl bestellt, am 13.09.22 die Versandinformation erhalten. Der Artikel wurde jedoch durch das Versandunternehmen retourniert. Der Verkäufer versprach mir am 28.09.22 eine erneute Lieferung, erfüllte dies aber nicht. Am 24.10.22 erhielt ich den Hinweis, dass alle vor dem 17.10.22 getätigten Bestellungen nicht mehr ausgeliefert werden und darf nun in einem aufwendigen Prozess mein Geld zurückfordern. Man kann mir allerdings eine Entschädigung nicht zusichern. Ich rate dringend von einem Kauf in diesem Shop ab!

Update: Ich habe mein Geld über den Paypal Käuferschutz zurückgefordert und innerhalb der durch Paypal gesetzten Frist erhalten.

I ordered an office chair on 22/08/22, received the shipping information on 13/09/22. However, the item was returned by the shipping company. The seller promised me a new delivery on 28.09.22, but did not fulfil this. On 24.10.22 I was informed that all orders placed before 17.10.22 would no longer be delivered and I am now allowed to claim my money back in a time-consuming process. However, I cannot be assured of any compensation. I strongly advise against buying from this shop!

Update: I reclaimed my money via Paypal Buyer Protection and received it within the deadline set by Paypal.

I paid £175.00 for an office chair by bank transfer on October 9th. I've received no communication and no office chair despite emailing the company and asking for an update. I've since found out that the company went into liquidation. A useful lesson to everyone, always use a credit card to make larger purchases and you will then stand a chance to get your money back (which I didn't!)

Like many others, I have not received my order. Bought on 21st September 2022, had one email about issues with their leather supplier, and now no communication since. They are ignoring my emails entirely. £2000 down on an order of 5 chairs!! Can't describe how livid I am. Such a blatant disregard for the people and businesses. They knew full well they couldn't commit to these orders, yet still, they took our money. Truly criminal.

Company has gone into administration. Website is still functioning. Avoid.

Another victim of the administration here. I placed an order on the 10th October and heard nothing. I have only found out about the company folding because I looked on here! Fingers crossed I will get my £200 back, but I’m starting to doubt it
