0 star. SCAM of all SCAMs

This company is a scam. They are trying to get all your information to ask for your name, your address, your phone number, social security number, and then finally you get to a screen that's asking for your bank account and routing number. At this point you haven't been approved. This is all just part of the application. I backed out of it as soon as I seen that they were asking for my bank information. Didn't even submit the application and then started receiving numerous phone calls from different numbers. I answered one and the guy told me he was calling about the application. Didn't even say what company he was from and then I told him that I was no longer interested in the loan and he went to ask me for more information and to verify the information that I had already put on the the form online and was asking for my bank and routing number once again after I told him I was no longer interested. He kept trying to pressure me into giving him the information. He finally hung up the phone and I received about 10 more spam calls throughout the day from different people. All calling about this loan. Trying to get information after I blocked the numbers they just would call from a different number

this is the biggest joke I ever seen they tell you that they'll let you know in a few minutes that was at 4:00 I still haven't got a email and response they tried to send me to a different loan company trying to tell me I needed to borrow a couple hundred thousand dollars which was a joke I just don't get it I never went through as much headache as I did trying to deal with these guys I haven't reported them lending tree told they need to do business with more of a legit business since the phone number it gave me the call to check to see if I was approved wasn't even connected anymore it was a disconnected number that's quite something

I'm not understanding why 5k funds, money lion and nerd wallet keep tossing me back to one another. However my email is full of random a** unknown loan officers with non business emails.

TERRIBLY DISGUSTING COMPANY! MISLEADING. THEY JUST WANT YOUR INFO SO THEY CAN SELL IT TO OTHER DUSGUST MISLEADING COMPANIES.THEY SHOULD ALL GO TO PRISON!

I’ve been turn down, I think by every credit card and bank in this couple of months. I don’t understand hove we people with poor credit when no one will give us a chance. I would highly appreciate one card or bank to help me. It would make my life much easier.

For what they are it’s great. They utilize bank info to determine your direct deposit information and access your likely loan amount to reliably pay back and access if you have multiple payday or installment loans.
Idk, how I was directed here for very bad rates for people who have poor credit. I ended up getting the personal loan I needed through my Chase bank at great rates but the bank request info for 5k is pretty standard for less qualified and lower income people. There is a reason for this and what many consider predatory. This may be the case but a direct result of our credit failures

Predatory Lending - stay far far away, and you choose not to accept anything from them they will text and leave you vm's contstantly.

I got into 5kfunds.com thru pennyhoarder.com. RUN! If u r still logged into it - and u balked too when asked for bank acct access #s before given any offers or terms - then go back in while still linked and delete ALL prior screen info, if u can. 5KFunds admits in the fine print at the bottom of their website they are not a loan company. It smells like an info skimming racket.

Same boat as everyone else lol. Put in all the info til it asked for bank #s before offering me any solid amount or lender. Nobody’s gonna be comfortable with that 5kFunds. Anyway not doing it, 1 star.

This is comedy lol. As soon as they asked for banking information that little guy and my head said l, “please do a quick search”. Thankfully, I did. SCAM

Like everyone else I was entering my information and then came to them asking for my bank routing and account numbers.. I paused the app to come ready the reviews and thankfully I did. Closing it now. I swear money lion (the one who referred me to 5k loans) is just a scam too.. sheesh.

They ask for your banking information after telling you that you are approved but not telling you how much you're approved for or through which lender.

They deserve zero stars! There’s no reason to ask for banking information before they approve the loan! STAY AWAY!

I was directed to 5K from Money Lion and right from the start I was asked the same questions I had already given to Money Lion. Where I stopped the application process was when they asked for my banking information. At this point it was weird. Why would you need this without an offer. I closed the application but quickly after I started receiving text saying they could help me just give them a call. They were blocked. Then I started getting text from Money Lion with a link that sent me back to 5K. All this seems very scammy. I have frozen my credit file.

They almost got me I sit there and entered all my information driver's license number date of birth social security number then it asked me for my account and routing number that was a definite red flag saying as they haven't even ran my credit yet I hope they don't steal my identity please do not use this site

All they want is your info..scam artists..don't know why they are still running this site without getting into trouble..what s country we live in. Should be laws that keep them from operating.. 😒
