Ease of getting initial cash: no problem. However, even if you are pre-approved for cash at a later date, they will pull that away from you as close as a few days to the deposit. If you're looking for consistent and reliable business funding, look elsewhere. This company will drive you crazy with its constant contract updates, daily payment demand (which changes), and total lack of communication. Company has no US-based customer service people, and even then, responses to questions and requests are almost never given to you. At one point, they threatened to put me in collections, even though I wasn't past due. They also blocked my payouts from multiple sales channels with their UCC lien, and again, I hadn't been past due. Recently, I paid off my account via wire transfer, and they are still pulling payments from my company. Very shady. I strongly recommend looking somewhere else.

8fig was helpful during our initial inventory scaling phase, and we had no issues with their operational support. However, when we sought to renew our partnership, they mandated a US-based guarantor, despite our flawless payment record and healthy Amazon account standing.

Since they insisted on this requirement, it became impossible for us to continue our collaboration. We have since moved to a different financing partner that offers more flexible, seller-friendly terms. I recommend international sellers keep this guarantor requirement in mind before proceeding.

Full story:
At first everything looks very smooth.
The sales team is friendly, onboarding is easy, everything feels professional.

I signed the contract and was waiting for the promised funding.
I never received any money.
The team explained this as “technical issues” and asked me to wait until they contacted me.

Spoiler: no one ever contacted me.

Three month later I received an automated email saying I was allegedly violating their rules and they might take legal action. This already looked extremely unprofessional.

I replied to that email clearly stating that I terminate the contract, since I never received any funds from them.

Another five months later I discovered that a UCC lien was still active on my company (filed through CSC) – even though:
– they never paid me
– my balance was always zero
– the deal never happened

According to the contract, it should have been removed once the balance was zero. But this lien stayed on my business for over 6 months, damaging my credit profile and affecting my ability to get funding elsewhere.

Then it gets even worse.

When I contacted 8fig about this, I received replies from a person who claimed to be from legal, but in reality:
– has no legal education
– has no legal experience
– communicated in an arrogant and aggressive manner
– tried to blame me for not “formally” requesting termination (which I already did months ago)

The lien was removed under the pretext of a “courtesy,” despite it being their legal obligation.
