Very efficient service

Very efficient service. Seen in a timely manner. Did not feel rushed in explaining the problem. GP engaging and empathetic. Examined and plan made for further investigations. Would definitely recommend . Thank you..

I would recommend them

I felt at last a face to face appointment with a GP who was reassuring and made me feel comfortable and listened to instead of typing while their back is turned, would thoroughly recommend Abergp group don’t hesitate to go and long may they be there for us.

First rate practice.Parking was ample which is hard to find in Aberdeen and Dr.Cooper was both friendly and attentive.I would recto anyone.

My first experience with AberGP was…

My first experience with AberGP was very positive, especially given the issues with my phone—which was my only link to the doctor that day. I was worried that no one would try to reach me again and the consultation would be lost, but the doctor patiently and caringly kept trying to connect with me. The consultation was a success. A very transparent website

A very transparent website, with full pricing details. Quick and easy to make an appointment either online or by phone. I would recommend this private GP practice if you want a prompt consultation.

Excellent care

Very easy to make an appointment, i.e. receptionist was very kind and didn't challenge the need for an appointment.
Appointment was not rushed, I was listened to and my health concern was thoroughly addressed.

I was able to get an appointment very…

I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The website was helpful with regard to personnel, their area of expertise and the cost of consultation. Different types of interaction are possible - online, telephone or face-to-face. The doctor was able to give me time to explain and was thorough with the examination. Different treatment options were explained.

Disappointed

To be clear there are from other reviews excellent services here.
Disappointed, no male professional should greet a female patient with a broad wink, it is inappropriate. Information had to be corrected twice on the same point and advice was not evidence based. I felt the clinician had their own view and agenda which had nothing to do with my experience and that I was not listened to. Questions were appropriate and a medical history sought, but felt as though predetermined to a particular slant and outlook rather than personal. Many clinicians appear to be excellent here but it was not my experience. I was previously a health professional. Patients should never be given the opinion that they should expect life long pain as a given without solution. I am competent, post graduate level qualification and research rich. I felt my experience was not listened to and this dr had their own path. Services offered were easily available on the nhs from my competent practice who had advised me I could see a private gp to gain off prescription help. This was a waste of time, stress and effort. I should and advise people to go on personal recommendations only. I should have actually advocated more for myself and expressed my disappointment in the service given but you tend to smile and be polite.
