Abilitybathe Reviews

My parents had spent a few months thinking about having their bath taken out and replaced by a shower.
They went to a well known store to enquire about this. They were told there was a minimum spend before they would even consider the job. That was nearly double their budget!!!
A few days later they came across an advert in the paper for Abilitybathe, my mum called them and had a chat, told them what their budget was and what they would like, Jay came to the house the next day. Jay was very pleasant, showed us an album with pictures of their work and letters from customers.
While he took measurements he left us to look through the album.
Jay showed us from the catalogue what we could get within the budget, even without the biggest budget we were able to choose what we liked.
Jay was never pushy trying to make a sale.
After pricing up what we had chosen we asked for two hand rails to be added, the final price was 300 more than our initial budget, but It was worth the little extra for what we were getting. A whole new bathroom!! The job was booked for the next week. Deposit paid a few days later.
On the day three men started at 8am, they were all lovely, before they started they asked us where we wanted the hand rails, and spent the day doing the bathroom. It was finished in a day!
Between the sink and window after it was taken out there was Abit of a gap so they filled that in so it didn't stand out and look messy! Job well done!
My mum was asked to check everything, including the clean up and sign if she was happy with the work done.
Would definitely recommend Abilitybathe!

Friendly and polite fitters. Installed within a day. Has transformed my Mum’s life! Would recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish, nothing too much trouble. We were kept well informed through out the whole process, very tidy and prompt. I would certainly recommend Abilitybathe.

First class service from start to finish. Having sent enquiry we were visited by Jay within a couple of days & the installation was booked in & completed all within 10 days. Installation team arrived at 8am on Thursday & were out by 3pm on Friday having removed bath, toilet, wash basin & replaced with walk in shower, new toilet, basin + vanity unit, grab rails, shower seat & wall panels over tiles. Job also included alterations to plumbing & carpentry. All done without disruption & waste removed from site. A great team.

Excellent service, all work carried out in less than a day. The perfect shower we wanted. The boss came to show us various cubicles and within a week the bath was out and new shower was in. Brilliant!

I have Multiple Sclerosis and climbing into a shower over the bath was proving extremely difficult as my disabilities are increasing. I needed something done before I tripped into or out of the bath or it became impossible to bathe at all.

After some research I contracted Ability Bathe as a local and competitive company; I was not disappointed!

The installation date given was delightfully quick (about 2 weeks) and suitable.

When the team arrived (on time and on the day) they impressed me with their very professional and considerate manner. They consulted on the precise positioning of components, like grab handles and raised the toilet by an inch. They cleared all the rubbish and left me with a sparkling walk-in shower in just 2 days.

Their work has made life so very much easier for me and negated the trip hazard I was close to but fortunately never experienced.

Thank you, Jay and all at Ability, a company I would cheerfully recommend to any either in my situation or just wanting a new bathroom.

I have just had Ability Bathe remove my bath, fit a lovely walk in shower with seat and completely refurbish my bathroom, including new flooring. All done very promptly and efficiently. I was recommended this company by a friend and shall not hesitate to recommend them to my friends. The workforce were all very polite and consulted with me during the work. I also have a ten year guarantee and Jay Cromwell kept me informed through the whole procedure, Thank you! Jean Sandry S.Brent

They delivered an upgrade quickly with minimal disruption- They do a lot of these types of jobs so they’re experienced and expert.
Job- for my aged parents-in-law, in their small bungalow
• replace tired shower cubicle, shower head and upgrade to pumped electrical water heating
• Easy clean panelling to shower.
• Replace ceramic floor tiles with on-slip Karndean.
Lead time- only a couple of weeks to start, and then a day-and-a-half on-site to complete (which seems a surprising achievement, given the interdependent trades)
The quote process was quick and painless but thorough. Jay, and all the team, were professional, respectful, knowledgeable and patient
Everything was left clean and completed to a high standard at the end of the job.
They work with a restricted set of good-quality product suppliers. Given their ten-year warranty they’re not going to do you a cheap and shoddy job. Nor do they do exotic.
TLDR- We're really pleased with the result!

very happy with my installation. the crew were very efficient and left everything spotless. highly recommended.

Very efficient in getting quote and installation for two showers - one replacing bath and one replacing/ upgrading existing shower. No long lead-time given at time of quote and price was competitive. Installers arrived at time stated and completed the install of both showers on the same day.
They were helpful and tidy. Job well done!

An excellent service. Quick response to my initial enquiry, with 0n the spot survey, explanation of options and quotation. Work carried out within a fortnight and completed in one day. Very efficient and professional installation by a very pleasant and helpful team with no fuss and absolutely no mess. ten years guarantee is also included, most impressed and very happy to recommend Andrew and his team at Ability Bathe .

Fantastic company, great staff very friendly super helpful. Very quickly and quality workmanship. Amazing service from start to finish. Everything from first visit to finished results was explained completely.

The service was brilliant. The team worked all day without a break and were courteous and informative throughout. We would recommend Ability Bathe to those who wish to have their bathrooms converted.

The installation of our Walk in Bath was carried out in a
professional manner with care & preparation. The time schedule was adhered to. The workmen were very knowledgeable & were meticulous in the work carried out. Hard to fault the company on the service given.
Certainly would recommend Ability Bathe to anyone.

I have been diagnosed with motor neurone disease and we needed to have our downstairs shower room converted to enable me to access it in a wheelchair in the near future. We contacted Ability Bathe Ltd just a few weeks ago and Andrew carried out a survey within a few days. The work was done this week and we are delighted with the result. The men were a pleasure to have in the house, nothing was too much trouble, they left no mess and the result is excellent. We were also pleased with the price. We have no hesitation in recommending them

Fitted a new shower for my 94 year old mother inlaw . Was a very good experience from start to finish . Work carried out to a high standard and fitters excellent. My mother inlaw could not be there when shower fitted but they came back when she was to make sure grab rails were fitted in the right place . Could not recommend highly enough nothing was to much trouble . Owen came back to check everything was OK 👍 worth 5 stars . The price was very reasonable
