Non è un esperienza neanche da provare.
Il servizio di supporto è inesistente e nessun admin del sito esiste.
Ho effettuato varie richieste nell'arco di varie settimane a loro di blocco del pagamento e per la chiusura del profilo... senza alcuna risposta.
Ieri hanno continuato a prelevare soldi anche dopo avergli inviato comunicazione di diffida nel farlo.
Ho segnalato il tutto alla polizia postale e alla polizia del Lussemburgo, dove sembrerebbe "dovrebbero" avere la loro sede virtuale.

Non è vero che sono tutti istruiti. Anche perché se fosse vero Penso che sarebbe una discriminazione per cui probabilmente dovrebbero risponderne?

Aggiorno la mia esperienza.

Dopo numerosi solleciti, l’azienda ha finalmente provveduto a cancellare il mio abbonamento Premium, confermando che non verranno effettuati ulteriori addebiti dopo il 17/04/2026.

Tuttavia, nonostante le mie richieste, è stato rifiutato il rimborso dell’importo di 59,60€ addebitato il 17/03/2026.

Ritengo poco trasparente che un rinnovo automatico venga considerato valido senza un consenso realmente chiaro e consapevole da parte dell’utente.

Esperienza negativa: assistenza lenta e poco orientata alla risoluzione del problema.

OSTRUZIONISMO E SCUSE RIDICOLE PER NON RIMBORSARE
TITOLO: be2 / Academic Single: Usano la scusa della privacy per bloccare i rimborsi. Vergognoso.
Nonostante io abbia fornito tutti i dati richiesti, il servizio clienti (Mateo) continua a inviare risposte pre-impostate sostenendo di non poter procedere per "motivi di privacy". È palese che si tratti di una strategia deliberata per prendere tempo e trattenere i miei 59,60€ prelevati senza consenso.
Scrivo dall'indirizzo corretto e ho fornito ogni dettaglio, ma la risposta è sempre un copia-incolla che nega l'evidenza. Questo non è un servizio clienti, è un muro di gomma progettato per scoraggiare i consumatori.

Richiesta pubblica alla Direttrice Laetitia Pateau:
Madame Pateau, la vostra assistenza sta usando i "dati personali" come scusa per non risolvere un errore della vostra piattaforma. Ho già provveduto a:
1. Inviare tutti gli screenshot di questa conversazione assurda alla mia banca per la procedura di chargeback.
2. Segnalare be2 S.à.r.l. (Lussemburgo) alle autorità competenti per pratiche commerciali ingannevoli.
Smettetela di nascondervi dietro i "motivi di privacy" e procedete immediatamente alla cancellazione del mio profilo Premium e al rimborso del prelievo del 17 marzo. Non riceverete un centesimo di più da questa truffa legalizzata.

Aggiorno la mia precedente recensione.

Da oltre 3 giorni sto inviando email per richiedere la cancellazione dell’abbonamento Premium e continuo a non ricevere alcuna risposta concreta. Ho anche fornito i miei dati come richiesto, ma la situazione non viene risolta.
Nel frattempo, il servizio clienti, Mateo, continua a rispondere in modo generico oppure a prendere tempo, senza procedere né alla cancellazione né al rimborso richiesto.
Trovo questo comportamento poco serio e scorretto nei confronti dei clienti, soprattutto quando si tratta di pagamenti e abbonamenti.
Sconsiglio vivamente questo servizio.

Pessima esperienza. Ho pagato 59,60 euro il 17 febbraio per un solo mese di utilizzo, ma il 17 marzo mi sono stati addebitati altri 59,60 euro senza alcun consenso.
Non ho mai autorizzato il rinnovo automatico e questa informazione non è stata resa chiara al momento del pagamento. Ho contattato il servizio clienti per chiedere il rimborso, ma non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta.

Essendo a conoscenza dei miei diritti, procederò nelle sedi opportune per la tutela del consumatore.

Trovo questo comportamento scorretto e poco trasparente. Consiglio vivamente di fare attenzione prima di inserire i propri dati di pagamento.

Ho provato per sole due settimane ed ho tempestivamente mandato con lettera senza busta la mia richiesta di cancellazione dal sito è la annullamento del contratto.
A distanza di due settimane mi ritrovo una richiesta ulteriore di denaro per ottenere la cancellazione, ma soprattutto, quello che inquieta, è che sembra che l’abbonamento si rinnovi a prescindere dalla propria volontà.
Ho comunicato quanto sopra non ricevendo risposte esaustiva.

First of all... it offers nothing, has no users, so there's no chance of finding anyone.

The majority of people on there are not academics in any way shape or form. Only 1/4 so far have studied beyond high school. Very misleading and a waste of money

Academic🤪 I stated intelligence (at least a bachelors degree) and appearance were important to me - and I did not want to date any one tied to a religion - then a get a response from someone who apparently hadn’t completed high school from Lakemba - who was far from being any thing remotely attractive sending three of the sites personal priorities (clients pick three from a long list) and her first choice was - would I change my religion for her!!!! (i.e., would I convert to Islam). Also I’m getting people from outside of my age request and my geolocation. Shows how precise their matching algorithm is - I paid $300 for the pleasure - utter scam - avoid like the plague!!!!!!

Come on Henrik reply with your cut n paste response to all of the similar complaints below ‘oh we are just ensuring that you don’t miss out on a potential partner’ 🤪🤪🤪🤪

PSs: I’m trying to cancel from this scam and the legalise is appalling you have to cancel two separate contracts - but then it states it’s trying to make it easier by having a cancelation at the foot of the home page.Like others have said - there is NO cancellation at at the foot of the home page!!!!!!

I’ve now filled out a form stating there is no cancellation option on the page and the two tick boxes which you need to tick giving them permission to reply are conveniently not allowing me to tick them - so they can say- well you did not give us permission to reply to you - utter utter scam

Finally found an email address and sent them an email giving my details and stating that as of today I want all contracts cancelled. Let’s see just how easy this is - do they reply with - okay - contract cancelled or ‘oh well to cancel you will need to do this and this and …..’ ????

Quando poi blocchi tutto si svegliano e ti dicono che devi pagare...peccato mai utilizzato e disdetto nei termini. Ma loro vogliono prova documento...ma se disdico sul sito che documento vuoi? Mettere un avvocato è soluzione migliore, truffa, sito ingannevole, difficoltà a contattare, difficoltà a capire se sei a bontà o hai disdetto... Un incubo. Attenzione non provare MAi ad accedere, ti perseguitano co richieste di pagamento. truffa

Jeg har skrevet til jer flere gange, og hver gang får jeg en sludder for en sladder.
Jeg er virkelig ærgerlig over jeres måde at behandle mennesker på.

Dette er ikke en side du kan stole på. Slutter ikke å kreve penger selv etter å ha fjernet kredittkort eller avsluttet avtale.

Etter direkte kontakt med selskapet mener de fortsatt de ikke kan rydde opp i dette.
De mener at en skal betale for en tjeneste en ikke kan logge inn på for å si opp, å at de har krav på penger som ikke skal etter avsluttet tjeneste.

Konklusjon:
Tjenesten er for vanskelig å si opp og de kjører hardt på å kreve penger de ikke har krav på. Denne tjenesten bør ikke brukes.

Som dere ser går de for Automatisk fornyelse selv etter sletting av betalingsinfogmasjon. Ren Scam. Hold dere unna siden.
Oppdaterer så lenge de fortsetter å være urimlige.

Ich bin entsetzt. Ich finde die Monatsbeträge sowieso schon echt hoch (80 SFR). Nun wurden mir nach Einrichtung direkt 539 Euro abgebucht, ohne, dass es dafür eine Begründung gibt. Auf Nachfrage kommt eine völlig unpassende Antwort.

At first glance this looks like an amazing platform. I setup my profile and completed everything, just before I was about to make payment for the premium subscription, I did a bit of research about academic singles only to find out their payment and cancelation process is not great. Would have loved to use this app, and try out the free version first, but im so limited to only answering ice breaker questions, thereafter to send a custom message, you need to have the premium version. Which I would be more than happy to do, if the feedback on their cancelation and payments wasnt so bad.
Thank you to everyone else that made a review and tried it, before I fell into this trap.

Prima di tutto: il sito funziona, se hai pagato l'abbonamento (un po' caro). Ho conosciuto alcune donne simpatiche, anche dal vivo. E ultimamente molte che mi scrivono "Joe, sei affascinante... dammi la tua MAAAJL per scambiare delle foto". Segnalate tutte al servizio clienti, ma spesso rimangono online e continuano il loro gioco indisturbate...

Però, è successo che AS non è riuscito ad incassare l'ultima rata dell'abbonamento perché... TARAAA!... la mia carta Visa è stata rinnovata. Assolutamente nessun problema per Amazon, Zalando, Netflix, Google ed altri, ma Academic Singles mi manda email minacciose dal loro "Ufficio riscossione":
"l'importo dovuto comprende sia la quota d'iscrizione di € 98,70 piú il costo del rifiuto di addebito di€ 11,00"
E, se non pago, saranno "costretti a inviare il suo caso a un´agenzia esterna di recupero crediti"
Ma scherziamo???

Caro CEO di AS, ho mandato già tre email al tuo staff spiegando che
1. VOI avete un problema, Amazon ed altri no
2. NON voglio abbandonare il vostro prezioso sito
3. ma se continuate a trattarmi così, vado dalle autorità e VI DENUNCIO per frode.

Queste mail minacciose di "riscossione" sono un insulto alla mia intelligenza, e mi stupisce che non siete capaci, con i pochi membri che avete, di rispondere ad una richiesta senza l'aiuto della SA ovvero Stupidità Artificiale. Buon Natale, caro CEO.

Ripeto: non volevo mai cancellare l'abbonamento, ma non pagherò 11€ per la VOSTRA incapacità di incassare novanta euro con la mia carta Visa. Che funziona benissimo con Amazon, Google, Netflix ed altri.
