This online course is the best way to gain knowledge and the diploma required to pursue higher education.

easy to follow structure but not much teaching or support/guidance

Whilst generally I did quite well, I have done a distance learning course before so am already familiar with self-taught assignments. Two of my tutors were very helpful, however unfortunately one of them wasn't which made me feel a bit lost during the assignments I had with them.

The access to the course was easy and simple to use the virtual learning area. The tutors where on hand with messages and if needs be phone calls. I enjoyed the course and it was good that the course could be paused as I needed as life changed and things made it that I couldnt continue the course at times. This is very useful being military expecial when deployments come around the course can be paused until the end of the deployment.

If you're looking for a competent company to undertake an Access to Higher Education diploma this is the one to do, I have been studying with them for over a year and have had nothing but constructive feedback and advice which has only encouraged me to produce better and better work. The support I've received from Andrew and Steve in particular has been absolutely fabulous :)

My experience was great. I had very helpful tutors. Whenever I had a big gap between assignment submissions due to various problems, I was always asked if everything is okay or if I need any support .Feedback was constructive and I received a quick response whenever needed.

Tutors were very helpful and all staff really great and understand during some home difficulties I had during my studies. Really enjoyed the source material, lots was made interesting. Only downside I would perhaps suggest is I found it very chemistry heavy, it would be interesting to have some more varied subject matter - e.g. More haematology/coagulation based learning such as clotting cascade.

This course was amazingly structured and the IT staff and AOLL staff were brilliant throughout, Chrissy my first tutor at the beginning of the course was absolutely great so helpful and an amazing tutor, I would highly recommend this access course.

AOLL is a great establishment for adults looking to progress. Thank you.

AOL have been so supportive when it comes to helping me pursue my dream career and attend university. My tutors Barinu and Jessica were lovely and helpful, but were not pushy at all when it came to submitting work. They reciprocated the same energy when it came to communication which I highly appreciated as a busy full time dental nurse. Their submission feedback was always thorough and their encouragement and praise always pushed me to do better. Amy, the manager, has also been a sweetheart to speak with regarding anything.

At one point I lost hope and thought I would have to settle with my job and feel un-challenged for a long time, but AOL has pushed me to pursue my dreams. Thank You :)

Super supportive, lovely tutors, would recommend this course to anyone who is working full time alongside their studies.

Very helpful and got me a place in university

Access to higher education course is perfect for those who want to get into university. All the subjects studied are tailored to required course at university. The support is great, tutors are amazing, you can text anytime and they will respond very promptly. Very happy with my experience!

Was low in confidence when I started and didn't believe I could really gain an access course in paramedicine but did it. AOLL were amazing and supported me the whole way, AOLL always provided encouragement and resources for me along the way to go on and achieve a start in my dream career.

I really enjoyed studying with AOLL as a mature student. The course was great as it allowed me to study, alongside a full time job, at my own pace. The course was interesting, challenging at times and relevant. The tutor support from Nicola and Andrew was amazing. Thank you everyone at AOLL.

They are all beyond brillant, fantastic team and the teachers are amazing so is the tech department. Forever be grateful to you all. Thank you so much.

In reference to Access to HE: Paramedic science -

A truly wonderful course, especially for those with busy lifestyles, having completed a year's worth of work in 9 months. Tutors are prompt in response, and check in to make sure you're doing okay - being involved only as much as you desire, not adding extra pressure. Being able to choose when you begin an assignment was fab, enabling me to work around being a mum, working, and running a home - all while studying. I ended my course with more credits than needed for paramedic science, I definitely didn't expect that - the support of tutors and access to the VLE at all hours definitely helped - studying at 3am is actually very peaceful! 😂 With great thanks to my tutors Nicola and Steve, who have definitely prepared me for uni, and the quality that will be expected - and great thanks to Amy for support through tough moments.

I definitely recommend this course, and am currently studying maths with the same company. Thank-you!

This was the perfect course to get myself back into the educational enviroment
