I love the way of the website looks like, cheerful & colorful. The notes are simple & the fonts are big enough, make it easy to read. By the way, I like to annotate & highlight my notes. If each of us can have our own workspace and be allowed to do that during our subscription period, it will be wonderful. We don't have to print/download notes anymore. Cheers!

Richard has a great way of simplifying things and a difficult subject becomes easier with his way of teaching. As a working mum of 3, I managed to pass all the applied skills exams at the first sitting!
The course fees are also reasonable and good value for money when compared to local available courses.

it's an amazing platform and helped a lot in my ACCA journey, but I believe they should also focus to most recent past papers.

Too brief. Good for repeating and systematization but not as a main source for studying

I purchased APM.
So even no book available just 2-3 min lectures super briefly covering the topic

The lectures are explaining the material clearly and in details, easy to follow.

Passed SBR first time with accowtancy, would definitely recommend

The course I would say is well worth the money and set up in a fun way that is conducive to learning.
cons would be typos/mistakes in course material, also others have pointed out often getting questions that relate to the upcoming video that you haven't seen yet and also some mistakes in the recording (dogs barking, then obviously forgetting to edit it out etc)
However, it is only £175 and I would say that is pretty good value for what you get (beats reading the standard textbook)

I failed my ACCA SBR exam 4 times studying with another online provider. On my 5th attempt, I decided to buy Acowtancy's revision and resit course and I passed!
Amazing value for money and well worth it.
I will be doing my final ACCA exam with them.

Worth buying, used the site to pass CIMA F2 (Advanced Financial Reporting) first time, however there were lots of mistakes on the recordings and weird background noise. However, the format is really good.

I just completed a small mock exam on the CIMA website. When I sat a mock exam for BA4 on Acowtancy, one of the questions was identical word for word to one of the questions on the CIMA portal, it even had the same answers to select from. My problem is that this question on the Acowtancy portal had a different correct answer to the CIMA website. This was pretty early on in the mock exam, only on about question 20 out of 85. I immediately stopped the mock exam because Acowtancy cannot be trusted to provide the same consistent answers as CIMA so there isn't much point to completing a mock exam with Acowtancy when the correct answers cannot even match to the CIMA answers.... in other words, sub par and maybe even useless because this was my first experience with Acowtancy and the only words I have are.. confusion and disappointment.

The course is divided into multiple sections where you are progressively taken through subjects relating to the accounting paper you are studying, and each learning section is followed by a list of exercises/practice questions.

The problem I had was that, unlike the way most subjects are taught - where the exercises/questions get progressively more complex as you complete the learning in each section - Acowtancy instead throws in questions/exercises with subject matter you haven't yet seen. This was incredibly confusing/frustrating and I wasted a lot of time going back over the subjects that had been taught in an attempt to find out what I had missed, only to find out that I the material I needed to be able to solve the questions had not yet been presented/taught. It felt like being taught addition only and then immediately being presented with a question on division.

I contacted Acowtancy to ask if there was a better/clearer way to go through the material and was told no, just follow the sections in chronological order. When I brought up that it was very confusing to be given questions with information that hadn't been presented (ie questions at the end of section D, where the material needed to answer the question is only presented further on in section E), I was told this was the only way to teach the subject.

I quit the course halfway through as it was just an exercise in frustration and I regret spending the £150.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the weekly emails Acowtancy sends out have useful bullet point tips and they're also really fast at replying to contact emails, which is great.

Good and easy to understand lectures, helped me pass SBL and AAA in first go.
