Overpriced Nostalgia With a Side of Disappointment
Although the food tasted like it was cooked during a power outage and the prices felt like a creative tax scheme, we ended up chatting with the owner.
He proudly told us his mother has “legendary memories” of IDF soldiers from back in the day when she was working as a local Sharmuta — apparently so inspiring that he now adds a generous “patriotism surcharge” to every bill.
Truly a culinary experience: overpriced, underwhelming, and served with unsolicited geopolitical nostalgia.
With love, allegedly… from the IDF.
