My 2nd container from them, great value and always in good condition !! The lorry driver had his work cut out carfully placing the container through some mature woodland.. I recomend them

🤬stay clear, please. i bought a container from these guys and when i emailed to find out when it will be delivered, i was told by someone called Ashley that the depot was yet to dig out a container that they had in mind. Basically telling me that they did not sell to me a particular container but rather any crap they can think of once they get my money. At the same time, this guy was trying to sell to me a more expensive container.
I also paid for the csc (ensuring container can be used for shipping) the container got delivered looking like something out of a whole but I was assured that it was safe for shipping.
The following day when we went into the container, we discovered that one of the boards in front was rotten in some places. It was so bad, just stepping on it caused two holes. Yes, the floor was that bad. I do not understand how this could have been missed by the person who carried out the CSC inspection. unless no inspection was done in the first place.
To make matters worst, I have been accused of lying. They said that something very heavy had landed on the floor. Mind you, it will take a very heavy metal object like a car engine dropping from a height taller than the height of a container to make a hole in a good container floor. I have mended the floor with a metal sheet and I want compensation. I have also asked that someone be big enough to at least accept that they may have made an error because I am very angry for these things to call me a liar.

Thanks for your feedback. We investigated your complaint, and I am happy to share some facts about the case:
I see you ordered a second-hand ex-shipping line container from us as an alternative to a new Adaptainer built container. However, after your order was placed you indicated that you were somewhat particular about the condition of the container you would receive (beyond it being supplied in watertight and seaworthy condition) so we recommended upgrading to an Adaptainer new build container to better meet your needs. You preferred however to proceed with the lower cost used ex-shipping line container option.
The container was delivered, and you signed delivery acceptance of the unit before the driver left the site. Approximately 7-days after delivery you contacted us to report damage which had been caused to the ply hardwood floor of the container whilst it was in your possession. You told us that the damage was the result of you stepping on the 28mm thick hardwood, rather than any accidental damage caused during the loading of heavy cargo.
To put this claim in perspective, we have not encountered a customer issue such as this in more than 30+ years supplying containers. However, we took your claim very seriously since all containers are inspected prior to delivery. Your container had also been checked according to strict CSC requirements by an engineer and these checks included the floor area. The certification guarantees the container to be structurally sound and in seaworthy condition before it leaves our depot. Photos of the damage were requested from you, and we were eager to investigate.
After a senior engineer reviewed the photos which I may add is part of the Port of Felixstowe (Britain’s largest container port) who also carried out CSC inspection on your container prior to delivery. They advised they could clearly see fibres in cracks of the floor puncture. The engineer indicated that the damage was very likely to have been caused by a heavy item being loaded and lowered on a corner because if wood is rotten, you would not see fibres in the cracks of a puncture. Just to clarify we make sure that only the best technicians survey our equipment, Port of Felixstowe are governed by the highest standards of inspection and repair.

Brilliant service
The service I received from start to finish was brilliant. Very responsive to emails and questions fully answered. Bearing in mind the isolated location and difficult access track, the haulage driver was brilliant too.
Absolutely no complaints.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic experience ordering 2 containers from this company. Great customer service. Due to issues at my football ground (that took months sorting out) adaptainer were understanding and kept in touch. The containers I ordered finally arrived a few days ago on the day expected and look great. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly be using them again when replacing other containers.

Poor service
Ordered a 20ft HC container and after nearly 3 weeks found out the company couldn’t provide it for another 3 weeks and was offered a shabby second hand one as an alternative… no thank you
Went to Billie Box containers, I’ve used them before and although slightly more expensive very good quality and dependable

We fulfilled the first container in your order, which included a free upgrade to a more expensive type of container.
Regarding the second customised size container in your order, there was an unexpected delay so we again offered the option of a better container than the one you ordered to help meet your delivery timescale needs.
We explained the second container, which would have also been a free upgrade, had a little cosmetic damage but was fully watertight. I am sorry if there was a misunderstanding regarding the value of this goodwill gesture we made.
A refund was swiftly processed for the unused part of your order at your request.
We are glad you were able to source another option (albeit at a higher price as you mentioned, and lower specification).
