Shipping was very fast. My item was beautifully packaged with lovely pink paper and a thankyou card. The lindor bar of chocolate was as a lovely personal touch. Very disappointing experience with this business. I was genuinely interested in purchasing a bag and was happy to proceed with the purchase, but unfortunately the way my questions were handled completely changed my view of the business.

I noticed a missing piece from a bag, so I simply asked for clarification before spending a significant amount of money. Rather than receiving a straightforward explanation, I was told that a non-refundable deposit had been paid on the bag. However, there is no information on the website explaining that items can be reserved in this way or that deposits are taken. What I found particularly strange was that the explanation then changed almost immediately in seconds to the bag having been sold, and the listing subsequently became unavailable and showed as out of stock. Naturally, this made me question what had happened. I was not making an unreasonable demand I was a genuine customer who was interested in buying the bag and simply wanted my questions answered before committing to the purchase.
Unfortunately, instead of addressing my concerns clearly and professionally, the response became defensive and argumentative. Previous messages where I had discussed the price of the bag were also brought up, despite having nothing to do with the issue I was raising. I felt this was being used to divert attention away from the simple question of why the bag had suddenly become unavailable.

I have no issue whatsoever with a business selling an item to another customer, and I completely understand that stock can change. My concern is the way the situation was handled and the lack of a clear, consistent explanation. The bag had been available for over four weeks on the website but as soon as I asked a question about the bag it went from being told there was a deposit on the bag to being told within seconds that it had been sold, followed by the listing becoming unavailable, understandably left me feeling very uncomfortable about the experience.

I had approached this business as a genuine potential customer and was more than willing to make a purchase. It is therefore very disappointing to feel that asking reasonable questions resulted in such a defensive response and the item becoming unavailable.

I would encourage anyone considering purchasing a high-value item from this business to make sure they are completely satisfied with the answers they receive before proceeding. Professionalism, transparency and straightforward communication are extremely important when spending a substantial amount of money, and unfortunately this experience did not give me confidence in any of those areas.

For me, the experience was enough to completely put me off purchasing from this business, and I would personally choose to shop elsewhere.

I found just the right handbag at an excellent price. Descriptions were accurate as were the photos. Excellent service.

I bought a mulberry lily from addicted to handbags and omg it is perfect, they had listed minor signs of wear but honestly I can’t see any the bag is perfect and was packaged so nicely. Will definitely be ordering again :)
