I booked my accommodation through this company in February for my September intake in London, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Before making the booking, we clearly informed them that we wanted a 3 bedroom flat with female roommates only. Later, we found out through another student, not through the company, that our booking was actually in a 5 bedroom flat with a male tenant. They never informed us about this change.
When we raised the issue, they initially insisted it was a 3 bedroom flat. After we questioned them further, they admitted there were no 3 bedroom flats available and told us they could arrange a 4 bedroom all female flat instead. They said they had emailed the property and asked us to wait for a response.
For over a week, they repeatedly told us they were still waiting for the property's reply. We trusted them and kept waiting. Eventually, we contacted the property ourselves and received a response within 2 hours. When we asked the company to show proof of their communication, they first sent cropped screenshots without the sender, date, or time. After insisting on seeing the complete emails, it became clear that the property had actually replied on the very same day. Instead of informing us, they kept telling us for days that they were still waiting. Later, they admitted they had received the response but had "forgotten" to share it with us.
Throughout this entire process, there was very little accountability. We were repeatedly asked to be patient, but our concerns were not handled transparently. The apology only came after we pointed out the evidence. When we requested a refund because the accommodation we booked was not what we had asked for and because of the poor handling of our case, they told us to contact the property directly, even though we had booked through them.
The biggest issue was not just the booking mistake but the lack of communication, transparency, and accountability. We relied on this company to manage our accommodation, yet we constantly had to chase updates, verify information ourselves, and contact the property directly to get accurate answers.
I would not recommend using this service. If you do choose to book through them, verify every detail directly with the property instead of relying solely on the information provided by the company.

Unprofessional Leadership and Toxic Work Environment

Pros:
Working in a startup setup does provide exposure to multiple responsibilities. Due to the small team structure, employees get hands-on experience and opportunities to learn different aspects of the business.

Cons:
Unfortunately, the work culture and leadership practices are deeply concerning. The leadership lacks professionalism and emotional maturity. Communication from senior management is often reactive, personal, and aggressive rather than constructive and solution-oriented. During slow business periods, employees are spoken to disrespectfully, and even taking a single day of leave can lead to unnecessary criticism.
The overall culture feels blame-driven rather than performance-driven. Instead of focusing on solving challenges collectively, there is a tendency to target individuals.
I have also witnessed hardworking employees not being paid properly for their work. Several team members left the organization, and there were serious concerns regarding pending remuneration. This created an atmosphere of financial insecurity and instability within the team.
My own exit experience was equally unprofessional. After I resigned, the primary concern from management was the immediate return of company assets rather than discussing proper handover or notice terms. I was not clearly informed about any structured notice period during my employment. Despite maintaining communication and coordinating asset return, I received aggressive follow-ups. At one point, the IT representative, Harsh Shrivastava, contacted me and threatened to file an FIR if the office laptop was not returned within a day. The tone and approach were unnecessarily hostile.
Overall, the environment felt unstable, stressful, and lacking basic workplace respect.

Advice to Management:
Develop stronger leadership capabilities and emotional intelligence. Build a culture of respect, transparency, and accountability. Employees perform far better when they feel valued, heard, and fairly treated. Professional communication — especially during conflict or exit situations — is essential for any organization’s long-term reputation.

Final Note:
Before joining or booking services associated with this company, I would strongly recommend conducting thorough research. Internal culture often reflects external service quality. If employees are not treated with fairness and professionalism, it naturally raises concerns about how customer issues might be handled.

I’ve observed a concerning work culture at Admistay through experience. Despite significant daily travel and consistent effort, there was little appreciation or professional support from leadership.
Communication from senior management often lacked maturity, especially during periods of low bookings. Rather than constructive direction, employees faced blame and disrespect.
The situation escalated further during resignation, where asset return was handled aggressively instead of professionally, including threats of legal action despite clear communication and coordination.
Healthy leadership requires accountability, emotional stability, and respect for people. Unfortunately, that was missing here.

Really good team, they helped me through the whole process and found me an affordable room close to my university. Moving to a new country was stressful at first, but Admistay made things a lot easier.
I'would recommend them to students who are moving somewhere new.
