If your vision through those lenses is not perfect, please contact us for a return shipping label.
Your lenses are made with a free-form lens design called the Shamir Autograph Attitude III. There is no better design for wrapped prescription glasses than this Shamir design. While your prescription may be stronger than most, we have put much stronger prescriptions in 8-Base frames with excellent results using this same design.
It is possible that this is just an acclimation issue. If so, it shouldn't take long for you to get dialed into this new optical input. As soon as you are accustomed to wearing these glasses, your vision should be clearer than ever before.
There are 3 things that can cause acclimation issues:
1. Change in prescription
2. Change in lens material
3. Change in Base Curve
If you have other glasses with this same prescription, it’s not #1. Your prescription is high enough that I expect you have other eyewear with high index lenses. If so, it is not #2. So the only thing left to get acclimated to is the curve. For most people this takes just a few hours. For others, it can take a few days.
If you do not see an obvious, immediate improvement in clarity through these lenses, send them back. If this issue is caused by our human error, we will promptly correct it.

Horrible customer service and didn't deliver product!!
I recently attempted to order two pairs of safety glasses for my son's deployment to Africa. I was told that I would have my glasses in 5 days. After 7 days I called and was given the run around and told that they the person who was working on the issue call. They never did. I attempted to call numerous times and every time I telephoned the phone would pick up and they would hang up on me. I then went to the store since they were unreachable via telephone and they then told me the order would take 7-10 days even though I was told it would be delivered that day. This was a very important order and now my son gets to head to Africa without the glasses and sunglasses he wanted so much. Truly horrific service and the employees don't care.
ADDENDUM TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: We DID let this company know that my son was being deployed and we ASSURED and TOLD that we would receive the order in 5 business days. I WAS HUNG UP on and never received calls back and it took me going into the store to receive any straight answers. Truly horrible customer service and as you can see my the response, this company won't take ownership for THEIR mess up. My son is now sitting in Africa on deployment with the two pairs...two pairs of glasses that he wanted. YOU DON'T CARE!! If you did, you would have picked up the phone and tried to make this right!

This review comes as a bit of a surprise. There was never any indication that this order was a rush until a week after it had been in production. The order was finished in exactly the amount of time we said it would be. This customer was actually leaning on a sign that read “We cannot accept orders that are contingent upon a delivery date” as she demanded a refund for an order that had been in production for less than 9 days after being given an estimate of 7 – 10 business days. But my response to the most obvious misstatement here is that WE WOULD NEVER DELIBERATELY HANG UP ON A CUSTOMER.
We have a priority procedure for US Military personnel on their way to a deployment. This well-tested system has worked phenomenally well 100% of the time. But this job was not submitted as a priority because we were not aware of any deadline. As soon as we knew these were a priority, both sets of prescription lenses were surfaced within 24 hours. It takes another 24 hours for the coatings and hardeners to dry. This customer refused to wait for this last 24 hours. We made an exception to our refund policy as a courtesy to this military family. She did not respond in kind.
The rest of this review is difficult to follow. She said every time she called we hung up on her. Our phone records show that in less than a week she spoke to 3 of our employees. Then she states that we told her this takes 7 – 10 business days. That is correct, but she demanded a refund before the 10th day. I have to assume the reason she believes we hung up on her is the unusual delay in the phone she is using. We have several phone lines, so we get an absurd amount of calls from call-centers. These calls often start with a delay while the next available person picks up the phone. So if we don’t hear anything for a full 5 seconds, we hang up.
We understand that military families face an excessive amount of stress. But this job was completed exactly when we said it would be; we took a total loss of several hundred dollars; and we waived our refund policy to promptly issue a 100% refund. Had we known the recipient of these glasses was being deployed within a few days, the lenses would have been moved to the front of the line and prioritized at every step along the way. But without being told, we have no way of knowing these were a priority.

I found your company a pleasure to deal with. Your staff were very helpful and seemed to know their stuff.
My only comment would be that I was dealing with you from overseas, which required a bank transfer for the payment. When dealing with overseas clients, I would recommend that you advise us that we can pay via PayPal. This way is both easier, cheaper and faster for me. Unfortunately I only found out after I'd transferred the money that this option was available.
Otherwise you get a big thumbs up from me.
