If I could have given less I would. This company needs to look at its customer service, we have used them for years and recommended them to others which they have gained a lot of business from. However we always used the Stockport branch, my recent dealings have been with Bredbury since Stockport closed and has been less than satisfactory. We visited the premises as we were having issues with our vehicle and suspected a battery issue and asked them to check it. We were sent away telling us there was nothing wrong with the battery. However, after the garage investigated they told us it was a faulty battery. If they had identified the issue at ABS we could have avoided incurred costs and the inconvenience of the vehicle being in the garage for the best part of a week while they investigated. They offered no apology just that it was our fault for letting it run flat, which happened after we had asked them to look at it.

Avoid if you are a business and not open at 20.00hrs that's when the courier was going to deliver i needed the item as they stated next day delivery had to sorce else where and they take money off my refund because they failed to use a better courier service so im the one out of pocket and don't email them they don't reply.

I have been using this company for a few years now they have been over and above with there customer service they are very honest and helpful will always tell you what battery you need 5***** service highly recommended great guys especially Cullam

Just ordered my second battery from Advanced Battery's
Had a leisure battery several months ago which is better than expected and was very good value.
Cant understand why other people leave bad reviews because they let their battery go flat.
Callum is super helpful. I just ordered a car battery and immediately realised I'd ordered the wrong battery (terminals wrong way around). After a quick call he refunded and got me the correct battery. Brilliant service. Definitely buy with confidence and take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt.

Read all of these 1 star reviews … exactly same experience re battery warranty which is advertised as 5 years and it failing after 2. RAC called out and advised replace battery. Fully charged it as advised by advanced batteries but it went flat again in a couple of days .. obviously not holding its charge. We have a car now that we have been unable to confidently use for about 4 weeks and no prospect of the warranty being honoured reading these reviews. Ordered a new one from Halfords .. oh and the car has been fine since we bought a new battery!

Came to advanced battery supplies by a recommendation from a friend and suggested I take a look as they had used them and their son both with good results.first thing is that their website is simple and clear to use which helped me decide what battery I needed for my caravan that also has a mover fitted. A professional looking site who give good information on products drew me closer and very quickly found what I needed. With a 5 year warranty I was impressed thus far, so I purchased direct online. Quick, clear and simple. Also I think I got the best battery and advice over all the rubbish and concerns I had about other web searches. Apart from the good price I got a further 5% off again less money and better quality than others. Delivery next day is excellent and delivered right on time. Battery now fitted to caravan and works brilliantly and no worries when we go away. Well done advanced battery supplies. Will recommend

I have bought four batteries from ABS over the years. I have always found that their service is impeccable. Their knowledge of their batteries is second to none. E.g. I bought a sixty year old dumper with a two cylinder 2.8 litre Lister diesel engine with no preheat. I rang ABS and explained what I needed. The tech on the phone said no problem we have exactly the right one 800amp start 90Ah...etc. Delivered next day and worked out the box on a machine that dead in a field for 15 years. Shout out to DX, their courier of choice, too. ABS gets recommended to friends and family as well. Faultless.

I ordered an 'Advanced Batteries' branded battery.
The ordering and delivery service was good. However when the battery failed in less that a year, I found it impossible to 'convince' the company that there is anything wrong. I have had to call the RAC on 3 separate occasions to jump start the car and they concluded the battery was at fault, then at at the company's requested I provided a battery Test Report that concludes the battery should be replaced.
I was confronted with 'spurious science' and unsound explanations and could not make any reasonable progress to resolve the matter. I am now pursuing other means to resolve this. I would not recommend this company.
Further to the company's initial review response, I would further comment that the battery was on charge for aprox. 30 hours at 3A, and measured 12.48V when tested. I would further emphasise that the problem is not the CCA when the battery is fully charged, but that the battery self discharges. ABS either do not understand this failure mechanism or simply choose not to acknowledge it!

First Class service and a great product at a great price will be using them again.

Bought battery in July 2024 yesterday battery went flat charged battery this morning voltage down to 11.6v ebay after 30 days cannot help. Contious messages to seller charge again mechanic already told us battery faulty charging not going help seller not willing to arrange collection and replacement not rec to buy from this company waste of time and poor quality battery. Avoid buying from them halfords, Gsf, or euro car parts located were you walk in and return the battery and check the old for faults

Terrible company warranty pointless, battery absolutely dead after 18 months and replaced by high street provider who's guarantee I can trust. Sent multiple readings over time from an electronic from battery tester that showed it scrap, just to be told just recharge it, ridiculous it goes flat in days even when car being driven. Given up trying for refund.

Excellent company to deal with. Used these guys for 10 years plus. Just exchanged a leisure battery firme no hassle 4 years into a 5 year warranty. Buy with confidence!

Ordered a new BOSCH car battery for my Merc arrived next day as promised all excellent so far. After 11 months car began to have issues. Mercedes did several diagnostic tests. At £175 each. The problem was found to be the battery not holding its charge. Causing various ECUs to fail. So a another battery fitted. £210. After as I said about 11 months. After reading the other reviews I wasn't prepared to have a fight over the phone. So yes excellent delivery. Products are hit and miss it appears judging by other reviews.

I purchased 2 leisure 3 130ah batteries on line for a competitive price, that were delivered promptly the next day as promised. Since taking delivery I have contacted ABS about linking the batteries using leads. The advice I was provided was first class and saved me waisting money on buying leads that were more expensive.

Great price, free delivery. Superb customer service. Original delivery was lost by DX so ABS stepped up and sent a replacement order which arrived the following day. Very happy with my purchase and their commitment to customers.

Can’t fault them they did everything they promised. Delivery to my preferred safe place was within 15 minutes of the start of the two hour slot that the courier had notified me of. Of course I’d recommend them
