I feel that the company and the engineers really understand the technology but I still feel the the ECO Dan system is unnececessaily complicated just to provide warmth and hot water when needed. I also think that the annual inspection is too expensive for just 30 minutes of an engineer's time. Nonetheless, I still find A Greener Alternative very friendly and helpful.

We have just had a new solar panel and battery system installed by A Greener Alternative. We chose them for the job because they installed our air source heat pump (ASHP) six years ago and we have been extremely pleased with that ever since.
The new solar panel and battery project was not straightforward, as it has to operate alongside an older existing solar panel system installed under the Feed in Tariff (F.I.T.) scheme, which still has eleven years to run. Ollie, A Greener Alternative's senior electrical engineer, came up with a solution that allows both systems to be operated and monitored simultaneously, in spite of having to share the single mains connection.
We are delighted with the result and would recommend A Greener Alternative to anyone considering solar panels or a heat pump (or both!). Everyone from A Greener Alternative played their part to perfection (as they did with the heat pump six years ago). The job was scheduled promptly and completed efficiently with as little disruption as possible. Every member of the team was a pleasure to have on site.

Had an upgrade to our ASHP system and the whole process was very smooth and efficient from Andrea, who booked the work, to Kieran who undertook the plumbing.

GreenerAlternative came to fit a new pump on my central heating system and the job was done very efficiently. Everything was clean and tidy when they left.

Great company to deal with, sorted an emergency appointment with Lee who was excellent and helped resolve the boiler leak. I would recommend these guys.

A Greener Alternative recently fitted a new heat pump to our home in Southwater. The team were great & the system not only looks amazing it is very efficient. We have a lovely warm home & a much lower electric bill Thank you for doing a great job :-)

A Greener Alternative have serviced & maintained our original NIBI (2007) GSHP for the last 7 years So we contacted them as soon as it 'self destructed' on new years eve.
We discussed the issue & with their experience decided to uprate & install a new NIBI.
Over a further 3 weeks they fitted us in, stripped out the old one, installed the new one, re-connected the installed elements, tested & handed it over. Warm again, no drama.
