The staff at the office was very helpful despite not being available on weekends.
I have a few mishaps: Was not picked up at the airport as promised, I met another stranded member of our group and she call our guide who sent a driver
In absence of a WhatsApp connection, my only resource is I got lost was call the guide, who did not always answered his phone.
In addition to the regular AHI guide we had a local guide at each location. They all told the same historic facts

I almost got killed on the trip.

Our leaders had to pivot mid-trip and performed beautifully! They were miracle workers. They were always energetic and fun to be around. They really enhanced our trip. We will not hesitate to travel with AHI!

Great Travel Director and guides!!! Locations were terrific as were the local guides & drivers.
Food was terrific and local tours were great especially the oyster boat ride/tour.
Booking, notifications, materials supplies were great.

The guides that accompanied us through the trip were outstanding. The woman in charge really scrambled to make the alternative plans work out and the two men made it happen. Plans and changes to plans were clearly communicated. Tours were well designed and on-board experiences were a big plus.

I was very impressed with how the whole team managed all the little hic ups that happen with travel. And they kept us informed at all times. Too bad about the low water but we expected that

Terrific guides. They overcame a huge logistical problem and dealt with it seamlessly to the passengers. Always around to answer questions. Always on time. Always upbeat. Fine people and good employees for AHI!

Danube water levels were a challenge. The AHI staff worked long and hard hours to ensure the best possible cruise under these circumstances. Thank you!

Mediocre pre cruise information. Staff were good on the trip but kept sub groups on the small ship separated which made for a less social trip. Lots of bus time which was not disclosed in advance. Doubt i will use them again even though the tour route, sites and local guides were quite good.

Guides, places seen exceptional. Air flights awful, but not AHI fault

The four AHI tour leaders were terrific. They were very professional, always helpful, able to make necessary changes to the itinerary, and often quite funny. They were on top of everything!

River planning was poor. I knew in advance that there were low water issues. Ahi should have offered a complete refund

It was a adventure. The river was low in many areas, but AHI staff made sure we were able to all the things planned. They worked hard to ensure we were taken care of.

The trip was wonderful. Our tour guide was excellent, very friendly, cheerful,and very knowledgeable. Pauline was informed , organized and very concerned about everyone's comfort and needs.
Anthony was our driver and was very good. He gave us a great deal of information about to country and all the wonderful locations we visited. Pauline and Anthony were an excellent team and made our trip such a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend AHI to anyone wanting to travel and tour in comfort and ease. Great job and we are looking forward to another adventure with AHI Travel.

All of the details are taken care of, from start to finish. Communication is excellent throughout the process, including with pre and post stays. I appreciate knowing what any additional costs may be (i.e. tipping) and being given a charger that will work in whichever countries. Excursions are always excellent - hitting the highlights but adding other special events. Food and lodging are always very nice. The guides are always fantastic - informative, helpful, and great ambassadors.

As you know, the low levels on the Danube cut the cruise portion of the trip short. While on the ship everything was great and as advertised. When we had to transition to a bus tour the mood changed. The unpack once convenience of cruising was gone and we had to live out of our suitcases.The long bus rides were not enjoyable and the standard of meals and accommodations dropped significantly. Particularly unpleasing was the 25 Hour hotel in Vienna. The AHI staff did admirably in spite of the situation. Unfortunately first time guests were understandably disappointed.

I took the AHI Athens to Kalamata, Greece trip in early October and it was fantastic!! Excellent hotels, transportation, meals and guides! The lectures were informative, the site visits were excellent and our personal guide every day, Marie, was one of the most kind, caring and personable women I have ever met. Highly recommend AHI!! Thank you for my first trip abroad - it was amazing!!

Our first trip to Colmar got us so excited by the professional and PERSONAL attention that we vowed to take more trips. And we have, and we will continue to travel with AHI. The guides have become friends who we trust will helping us find trips we know will be amazing!
