I bought a cartridge & barrel kit
I bought a cartridge, 58. Slug loader & Barrels Kit. Horrible design. Barrel barely screws into the gun. (Normal cartridges, not magnums) Barrels Hang way out. Doesn't seem safe. Guys with this same setup on YouTube have there barrels screwed in snug. I dont even wanna shoot this. I also only recieved half of the order that I placed. Very disappointed in this whole experience. And these barrels were NOT cheap. The paint is already come off the barrels and the threads are a bit stripped and I haven't even shot it yet. Barrels float around because they barely do a single 360° onto the threads when the cartridges are in the gun. Just a poor design. Came with no instructions. Had to YouTube it. And this is "normal" even tho "Shooting gun reviews" harpoon had the barrels that ACTUALLY fit snug and the gun still closed easily and the cartridges easily released. False advertising? Manufacturing error? Idk but im VERY unhappy! I called aea and they said that its "normal"
Doesn't seem safe to shoot.

Harpoon cartridges come in standard and magnum lengths; barrels and breech spacing are matched to the cartridge type. If the wrong cartridge/barrel combination is used, barrels can protrude or not seat fully — this is a compatibility/assembly issue, not a defect in the gun itself.
Many barrels for the AEA Harpoon airguns are designed to be trimmed or set back using a set nut to achieve proper recess for slug loaders; that’s normal for certain calibers and load types.
Minor cosmetic paint wear or light thread marks can occur in handling, but stripped threads or missing parts should be documented with photos.
Our records show this is not an order placed with us; if you purchased elsewhere, please contact that seller or the manufacturer (AEA) for warranty/returns. If this was purchased from us, provide your order number and photos of the items, threads, and packaging so we can open an RMA and investigate.
We strive for accurate listings and quality service; if details don’t match the setup shown in a video, it’s often due to different cartridge/barrel configurations or aftermarket modifications rather than false advertising.

Everything went great until I opened it
Everything went great until I opened my moderator. After getting written confirmation via email from the AirGun Tactical Support/Sales team that the moderator I selected would get the threads on my gun I placed an order for the product. It was delivered and due to work overseas I was not able to open it for use until a couple months later. Upon opening I discovered the threads were not the correct size. I contacted AirGun Tactical for an exchange. They told me it was too far after the purchase date and there was nothing they could do. Then they said they would make an exception if I paid for shipping. Then when they gave me the return steps that added in that I would need to pay a 30% restocking fee.
For a “reputable” company who made an honest mistake I would have expected them to make an effort to correct it without the hoops and cost. Very disappointing, I wish I could just do an exchange for the correct size..

Normally, we have time limits for returns after delivery, but in your case we made an exception. We understand you’d prefer the correct model; however, the manufacturer is currently out of stock and it’s on backorder, so we’ll refund you instead.
