I couldn’t use my ticket as had to come home in an emergency after my dad was admitted to intensive care
The company outright refused to give me a refund. No compassion whatsoever, awful company!

FRAUD company - ALBANIANBUS (you can check it out on Trustpilot, many bad reviews), those good reviews probably writing by themselves.
Ordered trip: Rafting on River Vjosa through portal GetYourGuide.
I was not able to get on trip first day because on the ticket was stated departure time 07:45, but it was actually 06:10 in Tirana. So i was not able to go to the trip and missed it. This manipulation was probably their plan. So i asked to go next day they accept. Unfortunatelly next day i was not able to go because of my sickness, asked them again if i can go next day, they told me that trip could be canceled because of weather but if it will happen, they promissed to refund me. Next day was canceled, asked them to go another day but it was again canceled because of weather (but it is probably another excuse because other companies have no problem to go if is raining, they got proffesionals and have no issues to do this activities anytime). They blocked me on Whatsap and refused to do a refund of 99€, avoid these fraudsters! Proofs are on screenshots. These faggots are liars and not decent company.

The advert said the pick-up would be from the hotel. We even selected our hotel prior to paying and there was a confirmation that it is a valid pick-up point. However, in the evening before the trip we were given a pick-up point which was 30+ min away from us, involving a walk on car-only roads, which were full of clouds of dusts from the nearby construction sites and stray dogs. When we reached out to complain about this we were told to get a taxi to the pick-up point, but we were of course not able to find a taxi willing to come to the remote Golem area for a 5 minutes trip. The bus was also 15min late for the pick-up, leaving us to wait in a not so pleasant area. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and false advertisement. Definitely recommend avoiding this travel agency, for our other trips we use another travel agency and it was all smooth and pick up as agreed from the hotel.

Awful i wish i had booked a taxi at 3 times the cost..ive never had such a awful trip

The Driver spent half of the journey either on his phone and when he was not on the phone he was Slow

We order a transfer from Durres to Ksamil in a 18 pers. Mercedes Van. This trip takes 3 hours and 20 min. The company put us on a large bus for people who were on an excursion. So we have to make the whole excursion first before they drop us off at Ksamil. This took 7 hours. Do not use this company!!!

Very reliable and relatively on time in spite of the traffic. They drove safely from Theth to Shkoder to Tirana.
What stood out is their honesty. We changed bus in Shkoder and I realised I had forgot my jacket in the other bus. The driver called his colleagues and they found it. They could have well told me there wasn't anymore and kept it for themselves. Kudos 🙏🙏

After booking with Albanianbus.com I’m certain that every good rating here was written by the company. This is a scam company. We bought tickets online but it was not accepted by the drivers. Do not use this service.

Fraud company. Booked transfer via WhatsApp, when the transfer is supposed to pick us up no bus comes. The person chose to block my number I guess?

We had a horrific experience going from Tirana to Saranda. The trip was awful to say the least! The bus arrived 1 hour and 15 min late. It was a nightmarish trip without air conditioning, burning breaks, a drivers who crashed the back of the car when trying to turn the bus around. On the day for the pre-booked return we were ghosted and the bus never turned upp leaving a family of 14 including small children ditched in Saranda.

Don't buy tickets from this agent on the Saranda-Tirana route. It's a scam. I paid 29.50 euros for a local bus to Tirana... the same price locally is about 10 euros cheaper. This company is cheating us because we thought we were getting a bus from this company and not a local bus. Waste of money! Buy a ticket at the station in Saranda for a much lower price.

Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie. Nous avons fait deux réservations avec eux. La première réservation a été très compliquée en terme de paiement. Nous avions après plusieurs discussion pu payer avec PayPal. Le tour s’est bien passé mais c’est grâce à Luiza la guide qui a bien géré. Nous avions réservé une deuxième fois pour un tour de bateau et l’agence Albanian bus ne nous a jamais contacté pour nous informer que le tour était annulé. C’était en les contactant la vieille que nous avons appris la nouvelle. Le processus de remboursement est extrêmement compliqué, après trois semaines nous avons toujours pas eu résolution. Je dois utiliser visa pour obtenir mon remboursement. De plus, le service à la clientèle manque énormément de respect. Ils auraient tout a gagner à améliorer leur système défaillant, leur pro-activité en contactant leurs clients dès qu’une annulation survient et leur politesse envers leur client au lieu de les insulter

I do not recomand this company! The buses are late, waiting till they are full, so if you have tight schedule, you want made it. I did not cath the following bus (offered by another company). Nobody cared, the conductor was rude!

Bad experience. We paid 63 euros for two tickets to bring us from Theth to Tirana. They were supposed to drop us off at the stadium in Tirana but before we entered the city the driver told us to get out and get a local bus, seemed he didn't want to get into the crowded city filled with traffic. After a discussion he got mad and drove us a little bit further into the city and then he yelled "FINISH!". We had to get out, didn't get any help with the luggage and were dropped off at a random location in the city. It was 36 degrees and we had to pay for a taxi to find our hotel near the stadium. After trying to contact them through WhatsApp to complain they just simply blocked our number..

Booked a full-day Berat and Apollonia archaeological tour with Bliss Albania. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and the group was small. Learned a lot and got amazing photos.

Please note: This review is reposted on 12-5-2025 because it got removed somehow. Appearantly, Albanianbus requested ''extra information'' on my experience SIX MONTHS after said bus ride. Then, when the request ended up in my spam folder and i didn't see it for three days, my review was removed.

They make you arrive at 06:30 to wait for a supposed departure time of 06:45. Then the bus only arrives at 07:00 and drives aimlessly around town until 07:30. Finally we’re on the road, but the driver stops after five minutes to run errands! He continued to do this three more times. During the drive he’s on whatsapp all the time which feels very unsafe. On top of it all, 10 minutes before the end he stopped (after severe delays) to go eat a bloody cookie at a friends house for ten minutes. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional.
