There was an issue with my account ( admin error ) that she really owned and resolved for me . She could have easily fobbed me off but she really went the extra mile to help me in every way .

I had need to contact ALD to discuss a minor financial issue. The person I spoke with ( Paula M.) was very helpful in explaining and resolving my issue to my total satisfaction.

Keira was very helpful over the phone - listening attentively and directing me to the correct department.

The service was good and Hana was very helpful over the phone.

Penny went above and beyond to assist me in sorting my finance payments .. friendly helpful and good at her job

Same scenario as some of the other reviews on here.
Transferred over from Leaseplan.
I paid the balloon payment and the secondary term was still taken and has still not been paid back.
Jumping through hoops to get the V5 form sent.
Still on hold as I type this. Average 25 mins everytime before someone answers the phone.
Worst company I've dealt with in a long time.
The poor customer service team who are very polite have to face the wrath of unhappy customers due to incompetent finance teams and ridiculous processes just to sell a van.

Whilst it took a few minutes to get through to one of the team once I did Keira whom I spoke to was very helpful and resolved my query very quickly.

The person with whom I spoke was very helpful, polite and gave me all the information I required. She then emailed me the information so that I had it in writing. The only negative point is I waited a long time to get my telephone query answered.

Leased a car with Leaseplan for 4 years but who were taken over by Ayvens /ALD half way through. Just like a bad school or a rowdy pub, they like a name change. During my time with them I found it difficult and at times impossible to get a reply about issues with my car.However the real pains came when I handed my car back. No obvious marks on it, yet I was hit with a three figure sum for what was clearly ‘ four years of normal driving.’ I was not compensated for the Dashcam they demanded I fitted and my excess mileage cost me over £1000. They will bleed you dry if you lease a vehicle from them. Don’t.

Good helpful advisors. Too long on hold

I have an outstanding complaint that is now at 16 weeks, still awaiting a complaints handling to even review it. This was for charging maintenance on a car neither the AA or Kwikfit would replace a 12V battery for,

Emails go unanswered for weeks. You wait 40 mins for your call to be answered if at all.

They are refusing to honor their own T&C's on refunding under used mileage.

Directed clearly to the department I needed, and Elana greeted me very welcomingly, and with the assistance of the tesla specialist dealt with my quiery quickly, Thank you very much for your help.

Tallulah was super helpful and dealt with my query whilst on the phone.

Ald took over my finance from leaseplan and I have had nothing but issues with them. In 4 years I did not have a single issue with leaseplan. Ald took over it and it was a nightmare. They decided to not take 3 months worth of payments, I had to call them to get them to take their payment, even then they just sounded confused and could not explain what had happened. They take over a week to respond to emails. Arranging vehicle collection and delivery with them is a mess, they emailed me a delivery date a week after my car was delivered. Collection has proved equally as messy. My finance on my new car is with them and I am really disappointed I have to deal with them still. If you can, avoid using them!

Truly woeful customer service. Failed to set up my account correctly and then sent out threatening letters as they failed to take payment. Only way to get anything done is raise official complaint. If I had a choice who to choose, I would not have used ALD.
Don't be fooled .. you get what you pay for so look around.

Had to call ALD today for the first time to find out a few facts on my lease car and after a little wait I was very impressed with the response I got from Cheryl she was so helpful and answered all my questions!
