Worse service ever! Pulling teeth to come out. Even though they were paid, they put in cheap cabinets and left us with no cabinet backs and holes where the toilet the paper roll is. They caused a leak and didn’t repair the wall and expected us to pay the plumber fee!! AVOID AT All COST!! I wished we would have!! So disappointed!!!

I have been with them for almost 8 years and the monitoring has gone up and up and this month went up $10! It is not worth it for what little I have, so I found a company who will monitor for less than half of that. I have to buy the equipment, which was on sale. I got it today, installed it and called Alder to cancel. The account manager informed me that the contract I signed in August 2017 stated that after the 60 months are up, if I did not cancel then it would renew for
another 60 months. What? He emailed me the contract I signed and it does state that. What a scam. So now I am screwed. They say that I will owe them over $1660 if I cancel. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

We have been with alder for years. We asked to be removed from auto draft. They wanna 60 a year to do so. Never have we been so mistreat and discriminated. Told me they have to replace it with another card or account. A sad generation. Now they are being sold to adt as of May the 5 ugh 😫

Do not use this company. They will not cancel a contract even if the is dead ! They continue to use the credit card on file. They want you to find another user of the system. I filed fraud charges. They are relentless. It’s been a fight for two years.

I have had Alder security for less than a year. About two weeks ago one of my cameras began to go offline and stay offline for hours at a time. It would abruptly come back online for perhaps an hour, then go offline again. I first contacted Alder by email and received a list of things to try (switching ports, rebooting, etc) to get the camera issue resolved. None of these worked so I contacted them by phone. The technician walked me through all of the previous steps and when nothing worked she transferred me to the "service" department. I was told that a technician would be sent out as soon as one was available. Since then I have received emails telling me that I will be contacted to schedule a time for the technician to arrive, but as yet I haven't received a call. At this point I have no reason to believe that they have any intention of correcting the problem and will be seeking legal advice on terminating my contract.

An Alder agent came to my home to sale me system. As I'm a single mom new to this area I was relieved to have some security. So, I signed on. The agent told me a lower monthly price then I eventually ended up being charged. I called in to try and resolve the issue could not get anywhere. a bit later my systems stopped working I called back in and was told they had tech issues and would credit me 11 dollars after the system was fixed if I called back in. I've been having issues with this company since the beginning it's been 5 months I called over issues with the bulk of the cable and it not reaching where I need it to and had been promised by the installer it would reach. Currently called to put service on hold for 2 months and would not let me so I told them to cancel the service, and I no longer authorize them to withdraw money from my account they did anyway and will not cancel my service. I'm getting a runaround and a pass from one call to the next there's no supervisor available etc. no one knows the corporate number for Alder nothing A HUGE SCAM!!!

This company is terrible to work with. The panel I had was not working properly. My contract was up so I canceled service. They continued withdrawing money out of my bank account, so I put a stop on it. I filed a complaint with the BBB as well as the FTC for fraud. I keep getting letters in the mail that I owe almost $200 now. They have not been monitoring anything for about a year now, because the panel is not plugged in and battery was removed. I suggest everyone stay far away from this company. I will file a complaint with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice.

Today my twin daughters had keloid injections into there scars under general anaesthetic.
The girls care, support and clinical assistance was gold standard, the staff were superb, as always and deserve a massive "Thank you" 👌
ANP Shelly is a phenomenal nurse, who shows personified care, respect and understanding with regards complex cases and has the patience and tenderness of a saint. Shelly is an asset and a guidance of how all nurses should perform, she is a role model and a credit to the trust...a real "stand out".
Play therapist Rachel, was a phenomenal support to the girls and the banter the team created with the girls evidenced, their love for their job and the satisfaction it can entail.
Jane, Richie,Caroline, Gill, Kirsty, Paul operating surgeon and anaesthetic Dr and Odps and the whole team in pre and post op are a ray of sunshine, and their ability to make the 'dream team work' is something to be immensely proud of.
The girls have been coming to the hospital for such a long time and I am thrilled that today was such a memorable a joyous experience.
The whole team go above and beyond to ensure that my girls needs are met to an acceptable standard and more.
One of my girls commented that despite having anaesthetic and the build up towards this. She has had such a great and positive experience. I am so proud, that Alder Hey is accessible to my family.
I am so thankful to the wonderful staff who interact and deliver treatment in a professional and positive manner. Well done team!
I respect and admire you all.

I really enjoyed the two young men who were very nice to me talking about the Alabama Alder Security. I would recommend them to anyone. I am enjoying it. Paul and Dakota the best.

Sooooo sketchy. From the very beginning of the phone call I had a weird feeling in my stomach because it was just so rushed and sounded too good to be true. And I had to ask a million clarifying questions because I just kept on catching him in half lies. But it almost worked and I was super close to signing up.
Luckily I look up the trust pilot profile while I was on the phone with him and started reading these reviews, which led me to ask more clarifying questions. For instance, he made it sound like he was just locking in my price for 5 years so that it wouldn't go up. But when I asked if it was a 5 year contract, he was like "oh I mean. Well, yeah, it's a contract, but you have 30 days to cancel." And then I'm reading these reviews on here, and there's like 5 other people that say they were told that same thing and then tried to cancel two days after signing up and were told that no, they didn't have thirty days to cancel. So now i had to cancel my debit card and order a new one bc i had already given him my card number (like i was *really* close to getting got lol). So i'm just kind of p*ssed. A little bit because of them trying to hook me. But more so I'm irritated at all of the reviews that I'm reading on here where they successfully hooked/scammed elderly people and other vulnerable demographics. Because that's just like *such* a disgusting way to make a living.

THIS SECURITY SYSTEM IS A SCAM. I had an overpriced 5 year contract. It expired, I recieved a phone call asking me to renew, I said no and they said ok, it will go month to month. I recently noticed that my bill went up to 67 (!!!) dollars so I decided to finally cancel. Called and they said that my 5 years was automatically renewed and I am locked into this overpriced scam of a system for an additional 5 years. DO NOT USE ALDER!!

If I could give zero stars I would. They scared me into buying it when I moved on my own because I was a 22-year-old woman living alone. They made me think I needed it, and then trapped me in a 5-year contract. I just tried to cancel it after a year and they told me that either I could transfer it to someone (which nobody wants this SCAM), or I could buy out the rest of my contract for $2,000+. I can't afford that absolute BS! I don't remember them being up-front with me about that when I signed up for it. They just went on and on about how helpful it would be and I have used it ZERO times. It just keeps going off in my bedroom every 30 minutes about not being connected. I'm about to destroy the system and keep having to pay $80 a month. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS. It is a SCAM and it's hard to get ahold of customer service. Now I have to keep this BS for another 4 years. What a joke.

Alder was contacted 1 month ago to disconnect my Mother’s services due to her death and a copy of her death certificate was provided. They continue to bill for the services. When I called today to inquire about the disconnection, I was asked if I would like to keep the services. They have done nothing to process the disconnection.

This company are very difficult to deal with over contracts. We needed to move my 88 year old Mother. She does not always understand. Moved her out of state. She called to inform of move and sale of house. Finally after numerous phone calls from my Mother, Brother and me( daughter we learn that they have in fine print a automatic renewal. The do not care about people only Money. Found out it is 5 year contract which was not explained when she changed companies. A salesman came by house and wsnted to get her business with a cheaper price and new equipment. Then company argued about monthly charge and she never saw new equipment. At her age we could not conceive these problems. Just did what was best for her. Cannot tell you the hous on the phone with people that do not care. She had 4 years with this company.

I’ve attempted to contact Alder Security to cancel. I explained that I could not use the system anymore because the firmware could not be updated. I am unable to update the software. I do not want to pay for something I can no longer use. The customer service representative that I spoke with wanted to know if I went with another company and to identify what company that I signed up with, which I DECLINED to ANSWER. Really? You want to ask me if I went with another company and to identify what that company is? I refused to provide that information.

Again, I requested to cancel. I was redirected to the “correct department” to begin cancellation and was on hold for 30 minutes before I finally hung up.

This company SUCKS. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! Don’t waste YOUR TIME or MONEY on this crooked company. I’ve wasted over $2,000 over a two-year period on a payment plan with no copy of a signed contract and a customer service department that gives me the run-around to a department that I can’t connect to.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO ALDER ALARM SECURITY at ANY of THEIR LOCATIONS. They’ll only scam you!!

Their contract has no provisions for cancellation or even moving to a month-to month. Their customer service wanted to extort the remaining part of the contract fee. Refused to even offer alternates to pay a certain amount and terminate. Seems to be a greedy company.

It started 2 years ago with installation. Board holes all over my home, broke the phone and electrical service, and the camera stopped working after they left. Finally got service tec and he said it was lousy install, cameras too far from router, etc. He left without any service.

They're getting one star because they do not give you the option to leave no stars. First of all they overcharged me for the first two years that I was in a contract. I've had them for 7 years now with no contract. But I've had to replace batteries that are $20 a piece and my yard signs are so faded you cannot see them. Over the course of the last year we have set five appointments. The appointment time is like a 5-hour period so basically you have to be home for those 5 hours. Not a single time did anyone show up. The last time they called me 15 minutes before and told me nobody would be coming. They also told me that there was no supervisor and that the supervisor would tell me the same thing so they're just going to go ahead and reschedule it. Barrel without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. You get this person that just keeps talking over you and not listening to you or trying to help you. You think you would keep somebody or want to as a value customer that has been there and paid on time for 7 years. But this will be the last month that I pay them. I have never been so ticked off in my entire life. I wasted five and a half hours of my day off for the fifth time today for these people only for them to call me and say nobody's going to make it. We're not advised that you go with these people

Service is awful. After spending 10 hours and several day trying to get my issues resolved I tried to cancel but was told the 3 day period had passed. And I would be charged over $3000 to cancel. Still not able to use one of my cameras and it’s been over a year.
