Wish I’d read these reviews first.
Nowhere on the UK website, that I could find, does it state you cannot make returns. The sizing is totally off and the quality is absolutely not worth the money.
A very expensive mistake.

I would steer clear of this company.

AM used to be a company I trusted. Their cotton and linen were some of the best — the linen weave was tighter and held up far longer. I have skirts from 10 years ago that still look amazing.
As with everything, their quality has slipped, but more importantly, their marketing has gotten deceitful. The final straw was their striped linen skirts — the description clearly stated they were lined, but they are not. Customer service is basically non-existent: it consists of two overworked, burnt-out young women who can't keep up. Even Nordstrom and Shopbop have more accurate product descriptions than this.
My second gripe is their sizing. I'm not sure who's doing the fit for their oversized and maxi pieces, but some tailoring adjustments would go a long way.
Get your act together. FYI — I did try to file a complaint with the BBB about the deceitful marketing, however they are not registered.

The AM Original 5 pocket jeans look nice. But the sizing is off. If you wear size 34, then get a 35. Also, one of the buttons on the fly popped off when I put them on a second time. Not great quality jeans. I do not recommend buying these online without first trying them on.

Sizes are not accurate and their return and exchange policy is non existent. I wish I read the reviews before buying.

Trying to return or exchange something is a nightmare. They have one utterly useless person doing online stuff and she is beyond incompetent and rude

I received a linen shirt for a gift Nice. No problem
I decided to purchase another. Same style. Different colour.

It is a completely different colour to the listing.

The first one was fine.

Anyhoo.
Long story short
They will “ make an exception” as it was worn once. To return it.
But.
Here’s the fun bit.
And especially after Moron Trump and his levies!
I have to pay taxes. duties. And. Shipping.
Which no doubt will amount to a pretty penny/cent.

I would strongly advise to not purchase here. As they are super unhelpful. Super patronising. And super c***y.

No returns on sale items which is in direct conflict with consumer protection legislation in the UK. Beware!
Also, they take a very long time to respond when you contact them.

I made an impulse buy for the Pajimmies. They are very cute with the pink stripes but the material is very lightweight, I suppose good for a summer pajama, and the fit very boxy and wears like a man's shirt vs women's pajamma. I am disappointed they are made in China. They definitely are not worth the high price tag.

I purchased a Garment Dyed Work Jacket in Recycled Denim in my normal size, Medium during a promotion/sale. Compared to other clothing I own, this 'Medium' is just way too big unfortunately. I contacted the company to initiate an exchange for a smaller size and the response was "all items purchased during our sale are final and will not be eligible for return or exchange". This is surprising considering that on their website, they still have the entire inventory for this item of clothing in stock: 7 different colours, 6 different sizes - not a single one of them is out of stock. This terrible combination of company policy and practice is not at all customer-focused.

I will not be repeating purchases with Alex Mill and encourage consumers to shop elsewhere for much better service.

Alex Mills are my son’s favorite shirt. We haven’t ordered any in a bout a year but places an order recently. We are so DISAPPOINTED in the quality. The shots are thin and see through. We compared it to his older shirts but same style. Alex Mills has definitely gone to a cheaper material.

I ordered a cashmere sweater that was dyed with a natural dye (indigo) from Alex Mill. The INDOGO BLED ONTO THE OTHER CLOTHING I WAS WEARING AND RUINED IT. The customer service agent told me that they sent me care instructions for natural dyes (they never sent them to me). I properly cared for this item according to their online care instructions, but this did not prevent the clothing from BLEEDING DYE ONTO ALL OF MY OTHER GARMENTS AND DESTROYING THEM. They said I could return the item for a refund, but that they wouldn't take accountability for ruining the other clothing. Very out of integrity to act like it is somehow my fault that they don't know how to fix natural dyes properly.

This is mainly a review of my Alex Mill customer service experience. They were very proactive and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Clothing-wise, I turned out to be a little on the old side for the more casual items, but the more structured, collared sweater made up for any disappointments. Now a loyal customer, I've already ordered another shirt.
