Esperienza pessima. Ho effettuato un ordine da 418€ tramite Alibaba e non ho mai ricevuto la merce.

Il venditore non ha mai fornito alcuna prova di spedizione reale: tracking inesistente, nessun documento di trasporto, nessun dato verificabile. Dopo mesi di attesa e solleciti, la situazione è rimasta completamente bloccata.

La cosa più grave è che Alibaba, nonostante l’assenza totale di prove da parte del venditore, ha rifiutato il rimborso tramite il sistema Trade Assurance, che viene pubblicizzato come protezione per l’acquirente ma nei fatti non tutela realmente.

Anche PayPal ha respinto la contestazione, lasciandomi completamente scoperto.

Ho già presentato denuncia alle autorità per questa situazione.

Conclusione: piattaforma totalmente inaffidabile per acquisti. Se qualcosa va storto, siete soli. Non acquisterò mai più da Alibaba.

I am sharing an unpleasant experience with Alibaba.com as a sourcing platform regarding a purchase from a Chinese manufacturer, Wuxi Maifeng Furniture Co., Ltd. The order was for a dinner table and 4 chairs, which cost me USD 608, plus an additional shipping cost to my UK address of USD 280. Once the proforma invoice was issued, I transferred the total amount of USD888 to a bank account (verified by Alibaba.com) provided by the above seller. However, on 26 Mar 2026 (2 weeks later), I was informed by the seller that the shipping cost was not valid anymore due to the Iranian War, and I was asked to pay an additional USD 240. My request to cancel the order and for a full refund was refused by the seller. The seller also asked for USD 10.00 for the storage fee during the mediation period. This was my first experience with Alibaba, and I was directed by the seller through an offline order (payment to the seller's account directly). I thought that the biggest problem was that I was not provided with adequate information about my the right to pay through the Alibaba online. As such, I was not protected by Alibaba.com. I had requested to pay through Alibaba online the additional USD 240 but was refused by the seller. It was certainly a very unpleasant experience with Alibaba.com and I think that I would not receive a refund (even partially) because the storage fee would exhaust the paid amount.

After receiving the initial deposit, the supplier repeatedly tried to modify the contract terms, requesting an additional USD 600 that was not agreed upon. No production evidence (photos, MTC, or packaging) was ever provided despite several requests.
They failed to meet the shipping deadlines and never provided any tracking or Bill of Lading (BL). The transaction ended in a refund after several disputes due to their non-performance. Stay away from this supplier if you value your time and money.

Order side by side the first shipment was almost delivered but there was an accident, the cargo was damaged the insurance covered the shipment and was replaced . While waiting for the shipment to arrive I got a message that I need to pay for shipping , another 5 year import license??
Now they want more delivery money , while holding my shipment as ransom.
The company's name is schollsu motorsports LLC from Greenville Rhode Island. And the shipping company's name is swiftconveylogs.com . That company disappeared now and I can't track anything.
The supplier said the shipping company's website was hacked , I'm sure this is another lie . Now have the police involved.

They even claimed that since they had tested and shipped the item, they were not responsible if it malfunctioned during transit.
They also failed to respond to my requests for a functional verification, so I do not feel they have acted in good faith.

Alibaba support is biased toward the seller and has not made a fair ruling.

PayPal is the only option.
Credit card information can be stolen.
Bank transfers and Pay-Easy are dangerous because they offer no protection.

If you are considering a large B2B order via Trade Assurance: keep ALL communication on-platform, and know that bank transfer payments have virtually no protection if the dispute process fails.

The seller has lied throughout my purchase about the wait time and four months later, after being told I would have my item within 100 days, I am still waiting.
The seller also deliberately uploaded a fake tracking number so that the item appears to have been “delivered” even though it is nowhere to be seen.
I have reported this but the Alibaba customer service agents do not fully understand English and shower you with compliments and praise (“you are a wonderful customer” etc) but don’t actually resolve your callout.
This experience has been very expensive for me personally and professionally, not a reliable platform in my opinion

I ordered a desk from their supplier Ganzhou Lejiang Furniture 2 months ago. They never provided a tracking number and instead created an interface to pass it off as proof receipt. They claim it takes 1 to 2 months for clearance at sea shipping customs, which if true only happens when theres a issue, they have scammed me out of my hard earned money yet acts like they are right. Alibaba would not cover me with trade assurance despite seller not providing tracking or using a creditable shipping service that provide tracking. Be warned.

We are Still in a “fight” with Alibaba and their so called “trade assurance” which clearly is not working , so i advise you to go to other platforms , because ALIBABA is lying and only protecting their own suppliers.

Ich habe mich im Januar einmal bei alibaba angemeldet und nach einem Artikel gesucht. Seitdem bombardiert Alibaba mein Postfach mit mittlerweile mehr als 40 Emails. Um das Ganze für mich relativ stressfrei zu regeln werde ich mir jetzt ein extra Postfach anlegen und diesen Müll durch Umstellung meiner Emailadresse dorthinleiten, da kann es dann überlaufen oder platzen mir scheißegal!

This is a scammers paradise. If you get scammed they will not help you. They will not take down suspect sites, they do not check sellers postings so are complicit in supporting fake companies. Then.... Try to contact them.websites and apps check full of buttons to press etc but nothing that helps. Be warned. You have no protections here.

Alibaba coned me for £10000 several years ago. I ordered 10 sets of granite memorial blanks to start my solo stonemasonry jurney with. What I received was couple of crates of headstones that were robbed from existing cementarry with names dates and pictures of desseased people on them. Ripped straight from cementary. It ruined my plans. Destroyed my relationship. And put me it to debt for following 5 years to pay it off. And today they contacted me. The same company to order some more from them. I didnt order chineese food for 2 years straight in the UK. What makes you think I will trush another chineese company ever again?

Since 9 September 2025 that I placed my order with the seller Cangzhou Wings Of Liberty Sport Products Co., Ltd., I have been given a different delivery date almost every week. We are now at 25 January 2026, and the order has still not been delivered. Despite paying the full amount of 1,940 USD upfront, I have never received the product.
To future buyers: BE CAUTIOUS with sellers who promise a 10% compensation for delayed shipping or claim that Trade Assurance will protect you. These guarantees proved to be fake, both from seller side and from Alibaba side. My order was marked as “completed” even though I NEVER received the item I paid for!!!!
Once payment is made, communication becomes inconsistent. You must constantly follow up yourself, and the delivery dates provided are repeatedly inaccurate. After several months of delays, the order is automatically closed by the system WITHOUT delivery. Adding to the frustration, you will be even be asked to write a review for a product that NEVER arrived, despite having paid nearly 2,000 USD!!!!!

They ignored the product queries. Support is not very helpful during the process. Who cares ? big company, no worries!

A payment was made by the Alibaba payment portal as a T/T domestic SEPA transaction and the money was deducted from my bank account. But no confirmation received from Alibaba or the seller. Already more than a month busy to get a refund. The Helpdesk (extremely bad) keeps asking for documents and proofs every time you contact them. I have send the documents and proofs 4 times now. I think this is a kind of discouragement to stop you contacting the helpdesk.
They promise to help you but Alibaba don't help you. The Buyer Protection is a farce. Alibaba has to proof they really do Buyer Protection.
