The payment you received earlier was a gesture of goodwill from your insurer to reflect their delay in responding to our complaint. It is not necessarily the final outcome of your claim.

I cannot fault the process or the communication. As long as you enter into the process with your eyes open and know, if your case is successful, you are liable for a %ge of the settlement to Allegiant FS...which I was! I have nothing to complain about. All good !

I was a bit apprehansive about this being a scam if I am honest but it was really easy and they kept me updated on how it worked and timeline etc. Claim was completed and paid out within 8 weeks and only once the claim is successful do they ask for bank details

As we've explained, we received the payment from the insurer on 15 July, but it did not come with any details to tell us that the payment was for you. The insurer had paid us a lump sum that covered other claimants' money too, with no breakdown of who it was for. We contacted the insurer immediately to ask them to provide us with confirmation of who the money was for.
As soon as the insurer confirmed that this payment contained your compensation, we paid you that same day.
