Dont belive the 8 year warranty. They dont honor it
Purchased an 8-year warranty battery. After 4 years, it failed within the warranty period.
Here's what I learned about Allied's warranty process: They do everything possible to blame you instead of honoring the warranty.
I had ONE single 51.2V 105Ah battery. When it failed, Allied insisted I replace it with FIVE separate batteries instead of a comparable single unit. That's not a solution—that's a complete redesign.
I sent multiple detailed technical questions about why a single replacement wasn't possible. Never answered. I followed up several times. Radio silence. I requested to speak with management. No one called. I waited over a month without a response while my equipment sat idle.
When they finally approved a warranty credit, they tried to charge me list price ($4,000) for five batteries. I own a golf cart with LED lights and a soundbar only. My cart has minimal power demands. When another vendor evaluated my setup, they confirmed my original single battery was completely appropriate and had no issues supporting my cart.
Allied claimed the battery was "undersized" to avoid their warranty obligation, but an independent evaluation proved them completely wrong. They approved a credit then refused to apply it when I went with another vendor.
Allied's strategy is clear: blame the customer, create an impractical solution, charge inflated prices, and make the warranty process so difficult that you give up. They care about the initial sale, not standing behind their products.
If you buy from Allied, understand that warranty support will be a nightmare. Better options exist.
