I used this company to transport my dog…

I used this company to transport my dog between the UK and Barcelona (and back again). The initial booking process was reassuring, and the outbound journey to Barcelona went smoothly, which makes the rest of the experience all the more disappointing.
Issues began before the return journey. When I contacted them to confirm details, I was informed (only two weeks before travel) that my dog would be driven across multiple cities in Spain before even starting the journey back to the UK, something that had never been disclosed at the time of booking and is not mentioned on their website. As my dog is a nervous traveller, this was extremely concerning. While Troy was helpful in changing routes to ensure my dog was picked up on their return trip, the changes caused me significant additional expenses, including extended accommodation and flight changes, totalling close to €1,000.
Shortly after arranging the changes, despite having already paid in full, I was contacted by Tim and told I had to pay an additional £90 due to rising fuel costs. When I queried this with Troy, Tim behaved in an extremely unprofessional and aggressive manner, shouting in the background that I should not pay and could “get [my] own dog back from Spain”, effectively suggesting they would cancel the service. This was very distressing and left me uncertain whether my dog would be transported at all. Although the company later confirmed that they would proceed with the trip.
When my dog was finally returned, his bedding and lead were completely soaked through, apparently due to spilt water. The following day, he was limping, which I believe was due to the wet bedding.
Overall, while the outbound journey appeared to be satisfactory, the return experience was stressful, poorly communicated, and at times highly unprofessional. I would not trust them with transporting my dog again.

Avoid misleading reviews – full context matters

We categorically reject the claims made by Jeanette Tebrook. This review is a clear example of how facts can be distorted when key context is omitted.

Throughout both journeys, this client received an exceptionally high level of communication—over 100 updates, messages, photos, and daily video updates from our pet carers. At the time, she repeatedly expressed appreciation for the care being provided and was reassured by the updates showing her pets settled and well.

It is therefore extremely surprising to now see those same journeys described in such negative terms, particularly when our team received positive feedback during and immediately after transport, including comments about how well her pets were doing and enjoying their time in Spain.

All care instructions, including medication for her dog’s eyes, were followed exactly as provided.

The issue regarding the delivery location in Spain has also been misrepresented. The property was located on a steep incline with restricted vehicle access due to parked cars. For safety reasons, we arranged a nearby accessible meeting point—standard and necessary practice in animal transport. Our driver then spent considerable time assisting on foot with pets and luggage.

Claims regarding “unnecessary transport time” based on an AirTag reflect a misunderstanding of how professional animal transport operates. Routes are structured around multiple animals, welfare checks, and legal requirements—not individual tracking assumptions.

We also accommodated multiple changes and demands around collection and return timings, ensuring her pets were still transported safely despite logistical challenges.

We stand by the standard of care provided and the professionalism of our team, who are trusted by a large number of clients.

We welcome honest feedback—but not selective accounts that contradict prior communication and omit key facts.

I cannot stress enough about avoiding this Company!

I trusted them to transport my Cat & Dog from the UK to Spain in January and return them in March.

They claim on their Website to make the experience “Stress Free”. If anything, their service caused a huge amount of stress and anxiety caused all by their own doing.

When my pets were collected and I was told I would have updates with photos regularly. 9 hours later… nothing. When I called the Company at 9pm that night expressing my obvious concern as I had put my pets in their Van and heard nothing. I was met with a dismissive, rude attitude both by Tim Oneal the Owner and his Son, Troy. I should have gone with my instinct then and not got on my flight the next morning but they had my pets and my funds.

9 days later they arrived in Spain. I had asked for them to be taken to an easy access pick up point to my accommodation only for them to take them to the most difficult location whereby the pets had to walk up a very steep hill. My old Frenchie, isn’t the best of breathers, which is why I asked for the particular location and was clearly distressed. It took me 2 hours to calm him down. My cat was handed over covered in his own excrement.

The company had commanded the dates for when they wanted to collect my Pets to and from Spain and I booked my own flights around them.

3 weeks prior to return travel, they rang me to say they needed to collect the pets earlier than agreed. I had no choice but to book and pay for another flight as I needed my pets returned to the UK and they had my funds.

5 days prior to the above date, they rang me AGAIN stating that they would have to change the date yet again. I had to book and pay for a 3rd flight. Once again I needed my pets returned and they had my funds.

My dog was air tagged unbeknown to them and was picked up on the Wednesday afternoon, I watched them take him all the way down to the Costa Del Sol only to pass by my apartment where they had collected him 2 days earlier!! Hence the poor thing had been in the van unnecessarily for 2 extra days.

They finally arrived home 4 and a half days later and was dropped off close to midnight by one man who had a van full of pets and was clearly struggling to cope himself.
When I first enquired via their website, Tim the Owner was straight on the phone promising me the earth and how they had been operating for 35 years and everything you wanted to hear. He is a salesman and please don’t fall for it.

Once I had my pet back I sent a polite email to the Company asking for some questions to be answered with regards to my Dog being transported unnecessarily for 2 days on the return journey, the several changes in flights causing me to have to book and pay for 3 flights amongst other concerns I had about their conduct on both journeys.

Their response was dismissive, rude and they would not give me any definitive answers to my questions. A massive red flag.

With hindsight, I should not have trusted them with the return journey as I felt that nervous and worried about their service but having already in receipt of my money and needing to return the pets I went along with it. I should not have done especially with the return journey being equally as stressful as the outbound. I should have booked and paid for a professional Company that cares and not someone that I feel is purely in in for the money with no regard for the pets or their owners.

PLEASE DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKE AND BE TAKEN IN!!

Dishonest .Waiting for a refund for 5 months.

Tim ONeal took a 1,750 UKL deposit from me for a journey that I had to cancel and 5 months later I am still waiting to get in back. They did promise several times to refund and said they apologised in writing saying they had spent the money and had a cash flow issue , but then missed two subsequent deadlines . We are now in the small claims court. I would caution anyone thinking of using them.
I am updating this on April 28th . This debt was settled in full on April 24th .

Do not trust these people

Absolutely do not recommend this company.

There was no communication at all. I was told my dog would be leaving on a specific day, but they actually left three days later. I only found this out by checking the AirTag on my dog’s collar, not because the company informed me.

I asked for photo updates, which is the bare minimum when someone has your pet, and they said they were too busy. It was incredibly stressful because your dog is literally your baby, and you expect reassurance when they are in someone else’s care.

When my dog arrived in Spain after around five days of travel, she was extremely skinny and clearly distressed. Her food bag was almost untouched, with most of the pouches and biscuits still there. It was obvious she had not been fed properly during the journey.

We had already paid for a return journey, but my dog was so traumatised that we refused to send her back with them. We ended up paying thousands for a different private carrier just to make sure she got home safely.

On top of everything, the man running it was rude and dismissive. Even a simple question like asking whether they were using the ferry or the Eurotunnel was met with, “Listen, I’ve been doing this since before you were born.”

Save yourself the stress and worry. Avoid this company at all costs.
