I was honestly unsure about ordering a dress online from Allurelily because i wasn't familiar with the brand. I needed it for a wedding so i took the risk. When it arrived, the dress looked very close to the photos and fit me better than expected.
Ordered three dresses. Advertised regular parcel shipping, but actually shipping from China so took almost a month to receive. Had a hard time getting tracking info from their service team.
Then, one of the dresses was a completely different dress. Not the right color, fabric, style, and no tags so no idea what size. Not even a laundry tag or size tag or any original tags. Was this used?? Was this homemade? Poor quality.
Would not let me return it, suggested "try to sell it to someone". Would not send me the dress I ordered. Said the shipping fees would be my responsibility but would not tell me how much those are.
What a scam people! DO NOT BUY AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have ordered a dress and it was nothing like the picture on the web! Nothing matched even the size was wrong after sending measurements via email. Also paid for it 160£ as paid extra for the fast delivery. Customer service absolutely useless, they have told me I can not return and get a refund back and instead I should sell it to someone else myself! Wow, wow, wow. Please do not buy for here and waste your money as I did.
The dress was poorly made, not representing the photo, and their return policy is outrageous. Deduction after deduction from shipping to restocking fees to DUBAI! Please do not waste your money on a product which took a month to arrive only to have it basically non-returnable. There are many other reputable dress companies to purchase from.
ALL PLASTIC, HORRIBLE MATERIAL, DELIVERY TAKES MORE THAN A MONTH AND THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH RETURN. I'VE BEEN WAITING AND ASKING FOR A RETURN ADDRESS FOR SEVERAL DAYS!! DON'T BE FOOLED. THE DRESS IN THE PICTURES IS NOT THE SAME AS WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE!!
HORRIBLE company to do business with. I purchased a dress from them and when it finally arrived a month later, the dress looks nothing like what they advertise. The photos they have of their models in dresses are completely illegitimate. The dress I ordered was “polyester” and it was a cheap fabric. It fit weird. Didn’t look anything like the picture. Felt cheap. Was poorly made. I requested a return and a full refund and it’s been a bargaining game ever since I requested a return. They threaten you with high return fees since they are apparently out of Dubai. After I spent 175$ on what I assumed would be a relatively high quality dress based on the price. My first 2 emails and 1 call were ignored until I hit them with a 3rd email letting them know I would be working with my CC to dispute the charges then suddenly I get an email stating I must not have read their response. I checked spam and email daily and there was nothing. The dress is of cheap material, poorly constructed and their advice is for me to resell it myself since sending back is very expensive.
I’m not sure who is putting out positive reviews on their website but this is a horrible company to do business with. Poor quality and even worse customer service.
Theyll take your money and send you nothing. Do NOT buy from them.
I resent even giving one star to these gangsters. I have been waiting weeks for my wedding dress. I have been fobbed off with stupid excuses but my wedding day is next Tuesday and it’s not here. Judging by other peoples’ experiences it seems even if it does arrive it will be a rag. When will the police crack down on these scammers? It’s not fair!
Don’t do it. Don’t do it. The photos they have of their models in dresses are completely illegitimate. The dress I ordered was “polyester” and it was a cheap cheap tulle dress. It fit weird. Didn’t look anything like the picture. Felt cheap. Was poorly made. Of course I immediately requested a return and a full refund and it’s been a bargaining game ever since I requested a return. They offered me 15% just to keep the dress and not return it which is about 25$. After I spent 175$ on what I assumed would be a high quality dress based on the price. I demanded a full refund once again and they once again offered me 15% just to keep it. I’m beyond frustrated, horrible company. Horrible dress. Horrible customer service. Don’t do it. You have been warned.
Allurelily is not trustworthy. I ordered 3 dresses but only 1 arrived. The other 2 never came, and they only admitted months later they were sent to the wrong address after I kept following up. The one dress I received was poor quality, so I requested a return. They tried to pressure me into keeping it, then gave me an untrackable return address in China. I paid shipping out of pocket, the package was lost after arriving in China, and they stopped replying completely. This feels like a scam. Avoid at all costs.
They advertised on their website, and even stated on the receipt, '30-day Satisfaction guarantee with Money Back, with no questions asked'. However, they did not honor their 'satisfaction guarantee' as stated: "If you're not satisfied with our product, we will issue a full refund, no questions asked." Even though we were well within the 30 day window. Also, they asked a lot of questions, with back and forth emails trying to negotiate a compromise, rather than providing an exchange or refund until finally they declined the return saying we were past the 14 days after receipt.
