Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. We believe that there’s rewarding work in creating an eco-logical lifestyle and livelihood and it’s the best way to confront the multifaceted crises that we face as a civilization. Unfortunately, traditional educational institutions are more interested in training people to be “cogs in the industrial machine”. For that reason, we seek to offer affordable online courses that will help people to begin to question the unsustainability of our current industrial civilization as well as develop the skills, tools and abilities necessary to inspire positive change in the lives around us.

I was so pleased with the courses
I was so pleased with the courses! I’ve just completed the Wilderness Survival Instructor course. Honestly, I live deep in the forest off grid and as an Indigenous person, I like to think I have a good grasp of wilderness knowledge, but this course reminded me, we never stop learning and there is always something new to be taught. This course really does prepare you for survival in many different climates. As well as how to be prepared for challenges you may encounter and what to do in case of emergency. A perfect compliment to the Sylvotherapy Practitioner course!. I look forward to enjoying more. Thank you Alma Oasis!

Forest Therapy Practitioner
Just finished Forest Therapy Practitioner and I didn’t realize the in depth benefits of certain trees and plants within the forest. As someone that forages and lives offgrid this was still an eye opener to my many ways the forest can be utilized for maximum health benefits. Thanks for the structured learn at your own pace courses. This isn’t the first course I’ve enrolled in here and it won’t be the last, I love learning and you’ve made it that much easier :)

I took the Forest Therapy course and found it to be very in-depth, offering a wealth of information. The dashboard was very user-friendly and kept track of my progress. The course materials were easy to understand, and when I needed support, there was always someone available via email. I particularly appreciated the audio content and the option to download the material. The course also provided extensive knowledge about different tree species from around the world and their associated health benefits. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to deepen their connection with nature and enhance their overall well-being.
