We called up this company on a Tuesday to get a quote for a full damp survey on a property we are buying. I was given an incredibly well explained walk-through of everything they would do, and a very competitive quote. The survey was carried out literally the next day (Wednesday) and the full report was complete by Thursday. I could not ask for anything more from this company. An absolutely perfect service, zero complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend.

Thorough survey of our damp problems. Comprehensive report highlighting the problems, with evidence, and suggested actions. Thermal imaging offered a good insight to the locations, extent and cause of the damp. One of the recommendations was to open up the cellar (currently sealed) to inspect the timbers; the surveyor (Mark) also offered to view any photographs of any timbers of which we were unsure, to determine whether a further survey would be required. It was reassuring to know that the survey was simply that, and the company were not trying to sell any additional services. Alpine Surveys are a very professional company and we have been impressed with both Sarah Dobson (Operations Manager) and Mark Dobson (Surveyor).

Very prompt response to my request for the survey, and rapid return of the report. We wanted an independent review of the damp issues in the property (without the conclusion necessarily being that a new damp course was required), and this independent review was provided, and solutions recommended.

Survey was undertaken at my mother-in-laws house. Sarah, my contact, was very helpful in relation to arranging this visit at a distance and also with ensuring that my mother-in-law felt secure with a stranger coming into her home. She agreed to text a relative to advise of the arrival time so that they could also be present. The surveyor himself was very polite and put her at ease. The report was very comprehensive.
