We are buyers and sellers of used and new furniture all over UAE and buy all household, used electronics & Kitchen appliances. Firstly operating from Abu Dhabi and then moving to Mussafah for expansion. We purchased L shaped sofa for 1400dhs
We purchased L shaped sofa for 1400dhs, but it was big and wasnt able to go through our new apartment's stairs or even through lift (we didnt know that this can also happen). We called Sagar bhai to replace this one with another 5 seater which was for 1000dhs only, but Sagar bhai took advantage of our misery and demanded 1500 for 5 seater. We couldn't do anything so we forcefully paid him 1500. He scammed us for 500dhs. And not only this we had to pay 150dhs DC twice (300dhs) as well. They are good when it comes to selling but once you paid them, they'll become Butcher. Sagar bhai still owe us 500dhs. Arbaab of Al Thahani, if you're reading this then please ask Sagar bhai to be a Human and dont take advantage of customers and kindly also return our 500dhs please.

Recommend Al Thahani to anyone who is new here
I would have to say that the customer service I received was second to none. Ahmed was very helpful, patient and efficient. He communicated the entire process with me and kept me in the loop with videos and pictures of the items I bought. He addressed any concerns I had and was super responsive. Even down to the delivery and installation. He sent me pictures and videos and made sure I was happy before the moving guys left. I would definitely recommend Al Thahani to anyone who is new here and looking for a one stop shop for home items. :-)

Very unethical and deceptive
Very unethical and deceptive. Last month I was winding up my stint in UAE and was planning to sell off my entire furniture and appliances and spoke with Ahmed (the owner) and negotiated a price. I infact asked him whether he wants to send his team to see the stuff but he said that it was not required. But on the final day of the move out, his team came and quoted half the agreed price and Ahmed (who until then was responsive on Phone and WhatsApp) went radio silent for the whole duration when his team was in my house. This was a typical case of ‘bait and switch’ and show cased very unethical behavior by Ahmed and Al Thahani. Beware with them

Do not use and avoid
Furnished my new place from this shop. In the first instance the guy gave me good prices, when i went back at the end of the day and decided to purchase all items from him, he just started overcharging. Net net i overall i thought reasonable. We agreed initial price for delivery of AED 350 and to be confirmed on actual date of deliver. Fast forward to a week later, calls me on the day and wants to charge AED 750. Bargained down to AED 600 as i was actually in a meeting at the time of the call. The argument was it was a lot of furniture so they had to use a big truck. On the day of delivery, they made 3 trips so the process took 5 hours, not sure why i was charged for a big truck considering clearly one was not used. The couch was delivered broken. When i sent him pictures he came back to me blaming the delivery guys and said i must pay an additional AED150 to fix it? Absolutely shocking!!! We had the furniture delivered to the empty apartment and only moving in a few days so happened to only see the issue with the couch next day. I also wanted a TV stand he sent me pictures and i agreed to one. He tried to charge me AED 300 for a completely scratched TV stand, luckily agreed to the return on the spot (after arguing of course). Same for TV tried to charge me AED 1,800 for a used 60" LG TV and when i questioned it argued it was a better model (which it wasn't). A new 65" LG is AED 2,000. Just not trust worthy practices.

We understand that you are frustrated with the price change for delivery, the number of trips required to deliver your furniture, and the condition of some of the items you received. We want to assure you that we are taking your feedback very seriously and will be investigating the matter further.
We have a strict policy in place that prohibits our employees from overcharging customers. We are also committed to providing our customers with the best possible delivery experience. We will be speaking to our delivery team to understand why it took three trips to deliver your furniture and why a big truck was not used, as we had agreed.
We are also very sorry to hear that your couch was delivered broken and that you were asked to pay an additional fee to fix it. This is absolutely unacceptable and we will be taking disciplinary action against the employee responsible.
Finally, we are very disappointed to hear that you were tried to be charged for a scratched TV stand and a used TV. We have a zero-tolerance policy for selling damaged or used items as new. We will be investigating how this happened and will take steps to ensure that it does not happen again.
