I use Althams Travel Chorley to book all my holidays Especially Kate Brewis she’s excellent and knows exactly what I want and like and I always make sure she is working before I visit to book my holidays

I always book my holidays at yeadon althams, all the team are always so helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble and always go above and beyond. I wouldn't book a holiday whenever else.

Booked airline ticket with them, they where extremely helpful and knowledgeable,nothing was to much hassle for them, will recommend very highly

I have been using the Yeadon Branch of Althams for the last 12 years to book my holidays. The staff are always very friendly, proessional, helpful, patient & knowledgeable. If the holiday, eg flight or hotel, that I have chosen is fully booked they usually manage to find an alternative date, resort or hotel they think would suit me. Also they print your boarding passes off & will order currency in if they don't already have it in.
A great team of staff currently in the Yeadon office, especially Sarah the manager, another Sarah, Lyndsay & Heather.

Todays experience ref asking for foreign currency was terrible. Clitheroe office manager needs to take a course in customer care. previous staff have always had a smile on their faces polite and accommodating.

We had a fantastic experience booking 2 holidays for next year. Chloe at the Chorley branch was very helpful and patient with us. We provided her with what we wanted the holidays to include and she happily obliged and we managed to book 2 great holidays for 2026 that we are vey much looking forward to. Thanks again Chloe!

I walked into the establishment of bury and was kindly greeted by a young lady called Alicia, she was very kind and nice to talk to while also maintaining a professional standard. She was very helpful and has the best interest of the customer at heart. 100% recommend this branch if you are local to the area of bury.

Always get great service at Althams Ilkley. No much trouble to find a good deal for us. Wouldn't book a holiday with anyone else.

We have been using the Ilkley office for several years now. Initially Steve looked after us but more recently Kate and Heidi have taken care of our holiday requirements. It's always a pleasure to see them in their office on The Grove. Recently we had an issue with our ultimate holiday provider and we were delighted that Althams took our side and resolved the matter to our complete satisfaction.

We called in at the Batley branch wanting a last minute deal for 15th November. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They found us the perfect deal. They sorted all of our paperwork for us and managed to get us sat together on both flights without paying extra. Amazing 5 star service .

I have been using Althams travel in DENTON for quite a while. The staff are all fantastic, especially Amanda who has helped me find holidays for our family, my husband and I and a "girlie " week away.
I always come away feeling happy with the advice I have been given.

Thank you Amanda for finding us a prefect holiday at Althams Travel Denton in conjunction with Newmarket Holidays for us to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. We went to Lake Como, we stayed at Hotel Griso near Lecco/ Malgrate, the hotel was fabulous, very clean and the staff were fantastic. Lecco is a small town with lots of local facilities and fab places to eat/ drink with lots of boutiques for shopping. We went on 3 of the organised tours, we went via coach and visited Bellagio, returning to Lecco by boat. Bellagio is gorgeous and even though we were told it was “ quiet” it was still quite busy. There’s loads of gorgeous restaurants and street food eateries to choose from. The boat on the return journey was lovely, so nice to see things from the water! We also had another short stop over in Bellagio on day 2 of our tour when we went on a Lake cruise as we visited the gardens of Villa del Balbianello, which were stunning. We skipped the next 2 days optional tours to Bergamo and Milan as we wanted sometime to ourselves to do our own thing. The next tour was on the Bernina Express and St Moritz. We travelled by coach to board the Bernina Express train and got to visit Madonna di Tirano which was absolutely stunning, we had to be respectful and quiet as there was a service taking place but it was still well worth going in to see its beauty. On board the Bernina Express train our group had our own private carriage and got to take in the stunning scenery as we made our way to St Moritz. Lots of St Moritz was closed as they are preparing for their “winter season”, though we purchased from Läderach chocolate! We also skipped the other optional tour to Lugano as we wanted to do our own thing. We ate in lots of local restaurants whilst we were away and all of them offered fantastic food with exceptional service. All of our tours were guided by the fabulous Fabrizio (Fab) Teresi who’s passion and enthusiasm for what he loves doing (and is very good at) shone through. This is the first holiday we have been on which included organised tours, we normally just do our own thing., with this holiday we wouldn’t have seen or known about the places we visited without Fab’s expert guidance. Thank you Fab.

I went in to Morley store yesterday to get euros for my holiday although I look young I am 30 years old and was spoken to like a child, I advised I wanted to change euros and do part cash part card payment I was advised the agent could do this but would be 2 seperate transactions I said that’s fine I had my phone in my hand and she exclaimed you cannot use Apple Pay here I said I’m not I have my card in my bag to which I sat down she then advised that if I wanted to pay cash I need something with my address on it I said I had my passport and about to say my council tax bill on my phone to which she abruptly stopped me and said she can’t accept my passport didn’t even let me finish my sentence that I have my council tax bill that I can pull up but at this point I was annoyed not because of what the agent was asking for but the way she spoke to me like I was a child, I ended up walking out of your store and going to Hays travel who changed my money in one transaction didn’t ask for anything apart from my ID and my address
