Amabrush Reviews

I still believe in this idea and concept. They are a young company, funded by Kickstarter backers to develop their first product. Im sure they will come up with new ideas and improved products.

I was one of the first Kickstarter Backers to receive my Amabrush. I had been excited for almost two years because it seemed like an amazing idea. I hoped to get a toothbrush which can replace the Sonicare i'm using now.
All I got is a nice packaging. The device doesn't clean my teeth at all. I had no major problems with the pumping mechanism but still the vibrations are far too weak to clean anything.
I even made several plaque tests just to be sure..
This device was a complete waste of money.
Even a 20$ Chinese Fake version of the Amabrush (v-white) works better than this. It's not good but way better than the 100€ Amabrush. So I feel like I have been completely ripped off.

I was excited when i received the product. The first try felt good, but after testing it for a week now, i'm not happy at all with the results. This will never replace brushing my teeth with a toothbrush/electric brush. The results of the Amabrush leaves plaque and other substances.... I cannot understand how this product can havr been tested as good enogh.

Habe ich was vergessen?

I was so excited when I saw this product online. It's a great idea and very unusual. I like that. However, I need to brush for 20 seconds as I don't feel 10 seconds are long enough for my situation, but that's no deal breaker for me. Also my first mouthpiece was clogged, but I got a new one from the customer service. The new one seems to be a tad better in terms of vibrations than my previous one. It seems to be a re-engineered mouthpiece, so be sure to get the newest one!

Product doesn't work, lots of false promises and dishonest customer service. Don't fall for it.

Don't waste your money! It doesn't work.

Paid for the brush - nothing arrived over a year later. Amabrush refuse refund. A complete con.

Terrible, false promises, no refund option and they deliver a really bad product!

Received my amabrush last week and tried it out, after the first attempt my teeth felt just as unclean as before.
Tried it again according to some user tips to keep some water in my mouth to have the toothpaste foam more, however even after that and 6 10-second cleaning cycles there was still plaque left on my teeth. Cleaned that off with my regular electric tooth brush.
Overall summary, great idea and concept, however very disappointing result in real life usage.

Hello,

I receided my Amabrush and I was disapointed, even if I didn't expect much.
I'm a backer from Kickstarter.

First of all, I expected an Amabrush Basic Couple but I had an Amabrush Basic, so a single mouthpiece instead of 2.
The packaging is really great, it seems profesional, but only in German.

The product is beautiful and manufacturing seems good but totaly useless.
I tried to start it in front of me to see what the Amabrush is capable of, and the result is nothing.
No problem with the toothpaste, and when I start Amabrush the handpiece vibrate, but on the mouthpiece nothing move, really nothing, it's like using a toothbrush without brushing, that make no sense.
To verify, I used it on my mouth and effectively, the Amabrush is doing nothing.
The only thing that work it's the toothpaste.

Did they test Amabrush before sending it ?

I don't know how they have been able to create a thing this poor.
They have bet everything on the style but they forgotten the principal content, brush teeth.

Received my amabrush a year later than the expected date. Package was nicely designed but product was unusable. Only received part of the order ‘with further rollout to come before extras will be delivered’. The bristles do not move. Contacted amabrush several times to which their reply was generic and states:
“The vibrations of the mouthpiece are sufficient to achieve a cleaning result comparable to a conventional toothbrush. // Please note that many people do not clean as well and thoroughly as they should.”

Basically saying it works as well as someone who sticks a toothbrush in their mouth and does nothing with it.

On top of that, the pump mechanism for my amabrush isn’t working.

I backed their kickstarter, after two years, i got their product.
Performance: it doesnt even remotely does what it says it does. The base only vibrates and it does a poor job to deliver those vibrations to the mouthpiece, the bristles doesnt even move.

I had really high hopes for this product and so did my girlfriend, but now we dont even care that half of the accessories wasnt delivered since the product doesnt even work.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

I was waiting for delivery a year and a half, they delivered him incomplete and the product is not working, it's a scam

I can't put 0 stars, so 1 star it is, this product is pure garbage, the team behind it is shady AF, they don't communicate on the product at all, they made a shiny package but what's inside is a dildo, a piece of plastic that vibrates.
I got 130€ stolen from me, they told us earlier that if the product did not reach our expectancy they would refund, guess what, they won't.
We need to bury this company so people don't get scammed, internet is strong, we unite and we destroy this company's name, I really hope the class action against them goes viral and the CEO is put in jail for an 8Million dollars fraud.

Product dont work.
Vibration of brushes: 0
Cleaning performance: 0
Assured characteristics: 0
Consumption of toothpaste: 0 (3x as high as specified)
Support: 0 (replies with excuses and only puts off customers)
Unfortunately I must give 1 star, otherwise it would be 0

The one star is for the very high quality packaging. The actual device does absolutely nothing to my teeth so I’m sticking with my £2 manual toothbrush. I could have saved myself a lot of money. It’s shameful they continue to send this worthless piece of kit out.

Many people suspect that this is a scam or fraud, as you can see from the other reviews. I have no reason to doubt this.

I backed this via kickstarter, with an expected delivery in 2017. It is now Jan 2019 and nothing has been delievered. I have been refused a refund with no valid reason given. They have my money. I have no product.

All available reviews, including plaque tests, say that this product does not work.

Strongly recommend to avoid.

I backed their kickstarter, after many turns and events, i got their product. When opening the package, it looked rather nice and felt good to hold.

In terms of performance, it doesnt even remotely does what it says it does. The base only vibrates and it does a poor job to deliver those vibrations to the mouthpiece, the bristles doesnt even move.

I had really high hopes for this product and so did my girlfriend, but now we dont even care that half of the accessories wasnt delivered since the product doesnt even work.
