Total scam company based in China

Thought this company was based in London. Received purchase which was of inferior quality. Chose to return goods for refund, expensive postage meant to put off returning as had to be tracked. Was told it is still in customs. Still waiting for a refund 2 months later. Total scam - do not buy from this company.

Criminal company

These criminals advertise decent looking clothes and then deliver cheap and nasty tat which they have charged a lot for. They try to resist refunds and send an Return Form which you must print and complete before posting the tat back to China. They require it to be tracked with a cost of £18 postage for a tee shirt and won't refund you until it reaches China.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! Bought a dress online, dress received 4 weeks later faulty, poor quality, poor workmanship, ripped strap and side seam on dress. Emailed customer service with pics of item and requested refund for item received. I was advised that I had two options, I could return to address in China at my own expense so they could inspect and refund or they would refund 20% of amount paid. I opted to return to address provided No. 1 Tongfu Road, Fuhai Street, Bao'an District Shenzhen City Guangdong Province 518100 China- big mistake. I had item tracked and it was delivered, no longer receiving any communication from company. BIG SCAM - stay away.

Cheap tat from abroad, do not use

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Thought it was London based, wrong, cheap tat from abroad. Bought a pair of shoes, cheap & nasty, very poorly made & ugly. They promise refund but expect you to pay postage, settled for part refund which was promised in 5 days, 1 month later still not received. REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Prodotto pessimo e gestione reso inesistente

Prodotto acquistato online che non era del colore richiesto, materiale scarso e di pessima qualità.
Ho chiesto il reso mi è stato detto che era possibile e di compilare un modulo, il pacco non è MAI stato ritirato. Ho fatto la pratica di reso a metà Giugno, mi è stato detto telefonicamente che era gestita da voi e che lo avrebbero ritirato ormai sono passate più di 2 settimane...
Morale: terrò il prodotto solo per paura di non perdere i soldi (dato che il reso era possibile entro 14 gg) e pure il vestito se dovessi restituirlo per conto mio.
Sconsigliato fortemente

Bad customer service

Needed to return an outfit that didnt fit right. Was told i would be refunded when i returned the items. Sent items back to where they told me at my expense with tracking details as they asked. I have not received any further correspondence from them at all despite several emails and no money has been refunded. They now have my items plus my money! I feel disrespected and just forgotten about. No customer service etiquette from this place. Will not recommend trusting this company.

Absolutely Diabolical

Absolutely diabolical. Don’t go near!!!!
I ordered 3 pairs of sandals and saw a 10% off offer pressed a button for what I thought would apply the 10% offer and it ordered me another pair of sandals that I didn’t want. I tried to cancel the order immediately afterwards and I was emailed to inform me I couldn’t. The sandals were shipped from China days later (so there was actually plenty of time for the order to have been cancelled) and they arrived about 12 days after that. They didn’t look as shown on the website and were very cheap looking. I returned them the same day which cost me £28.80 and I am still waiting for a refund 12 days later. I’m £150 down now with nothing to show for it except stress, frustration and annoyance. The sandals are stuck in customs in China apparently. I have emailed Amara 3 times requesting to be refunded, as the fact that they are stuck in customs in China is not my fault (because as they are the recipient they need to contact customer to release the package) and have heard nothing. Absolutely appalling. Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delivery issues

Paid next day delivery and as soon as email saying order dispatched, received email from DPD saying order delayed - basically Amara offering next day delivery by Dpd but is not honouring. Me - I just paid for it and you cannot contact Amara

Firstly, the quality of the products are AWFUL for the price. Shein is better quality and much cheaper. I wanted to send the item back which they make very difficult. They didn’t want me to return it and said I could pay £9 to EXCHANGE it for another size. I said I wanted to return it and the process to return is very over complicated and expensive as they don’t want you to return it. Scam!

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Like other reviews about this company DO NOT GO NEAR IT, it should be shut down. Goods have to be sent back to China, which you would not be aware of until wanting to return as their front pages lead you to believe they are sent in the UK. It is only after you look at their returns policy that you discover goods come from Asia and they have to be sent back there at your cost. Despite entering into email correspondence with them they are now not replying. I had to pay £12 to send back the dress I ordered which I might add was poor quality, the package has now been sitting in customs in China for 11 days. This company is fraudulent, shame on you Amara.
The email responses this company post on here are just as INEFFECTIVE as their returns policy; They have my details and have STOPPED RESPONDING to my emails to them. Need I say more!

Dont buy from this company

Don’t buy anything from this company they advertise clothes and shoes and when u get them they are nothing like the product. Stuff has to be sent back to china, but the postage is £25 so not worth it, you will lose your money whatever way you decide! They offered me a 25%discount and even with that I still have lost £48.00 for the tat they sent, which is only fit for the bin

I have lost £49.95 for a jacket I bought from Amara and tried to return.MY saga is too convoluted. They did everything they could to make it hard to return the jacket, and I failed to get my money back. BEWARE.
