Once again Amazon are not very helpful. Don't buy anything from this company they don't print your reviews if anything goes wrong

They have without doubt the worst customer services I have ever encountered, I have been an amazon prime member for at least 5 years also kindle customer for several years too, both subscriptions I pay for monthly. My account was hacked 3 weeks ago and despite numerous phone calls with them they seem incapable of fixing it! All my account history has vanished along with the many books I had bought, downloaded and saved onto my account part of the problem is every time you call you get connected to a different agent from a global network so it's impossible to speak to the same person which means every time you call you have to repeat the whole story again. The account has been referred to the account specialists 4 times this week and I've for them to call me but they just keep sending long indecipherable emails that are of no help to me at all. I'm disabled so use amazon prime a lot and am frustrated and exhausted by their continued inability to fix the problem, it's a disgrace. I just want to reiterate this has been going on for 3 weeks

Long standing order through Amazon third party, made 4 weeks ago, due to be delivered today. Amazon emailed 'no reply' this morning to say my order has been cancelled!
After 4 weeks of waiting for a badly needed portable A/C unit (because it was the only one 'available' ANYWHERE in the UK) during 5 heat waves, to be told on the morning of supposed delivery that it's been canceled is a bad joke at best and PI** POOR supplier management by Amazon.
I am a serious long term Prime member and make several purchases a week!!
I will be trying other online suppliers direct first from now on, it might well be worth paying postage to someone who can deliver, or at least be honest and say up front 'we can't supply it'.
No wonder Amazon rating here is 1 star!!!

Previously had a good experience with Amazon Customer Services but this time they were AWFUL

Echo just stopped working - blue light of death. None of the buttons would enable pairing mode. Amazon just offered a 20% discount off another product - TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

I got an order from Amazon and I am trying to get a refund, however the form on the website does not work. It says not eligible for a self service refund. Please can I get some help on how to get a refund with this message. I cannot get it from the supplier of the product - they said they don't have access to Amazon to give the refund. It is frustrating how many hours I have wasted on this!!! Help please

Ordered goods yesterday. to be delivered today between 2-45 and 4-45. no sign so checked the tracker. now no time noted
Not first time this has happened. called the laughably titled helpline but despite all the apologies could offer no explanation or update. Made worse by fact i pay for prime. So prime cancelled and lesson learned. you want goods on time go to the shops.

Crap delivery company. Why do these people think they can just deposit a parcel somewhere near the premises and call it delivered.
It clearly has a named addressee to whom it should be delivered.
I always try to avoid this crap company for this very reason. All the more reason to BOYCOTT.

I received a birthday e card for €30 on 3/8/26 I added to my Amazon account and when I went to redeem it the account was empty and it’s very hard to get in touch with Amazon uk

I have used Amazon for 30+ years since they were just an online bookstore, but I won't buy from them any more, because I cannot place an order in UK without accepting a trial of their expensive, unnecessary Amazon Prime service. Yes, I could accept it then go into my settings and cancel it later, but why should I? Amazon is behaving in a disgusting way and has totally lost sight of what made it a great company: giving customers what they want, not ramming unwanted services down their throats and inconveniencing them. The CEO should be fired.

I orderd two gifts as graduation gifts. One gift supposed to get delivered on 31st of July 2026 but package got delivered to wrong address . Other gift package esmated delivery date was August 1st but till today August 4th I had to wait and not been delivered yet ,when i contacted they saying package might be missing.really very poor service .waste of time. Very disappointed.

I ordered a Swiss Army penknife. Because it was a bladed article I needed to be at home to sign for it. I waited in at the times that Amazon told me that it would be delivered but, on five successive days, there was no delivery. After numerous attempts (using their 'chat line' and ringing them and being told that it would be delivered "the next day") an agent finally confirmed what I had suspected all along, ie. that the penknife was "lost in transit" (or quite possibly stolen). I have been given a refund but they are hiding the truth by saying that they were "unable to deliver", somehow suggesting that it is the purchaser's fault. I will never buy from Amazon again.

Terrible. Restitched me and I done nothing wrong. Only hqd to get police involved .. as for drivers absolutely terrible. As for amazon they need be shut down

i have always had very good service from Amazon, but I have one criticism of their Gift Voucher Category. There is a listing for a Visa Debit Card, which should not be in that category because it is in fact a totally valueless toy card costing from £10.99 which unfortunately being a senior with little understanding of words like Coplay etc., mistook to be a prepaid card and purchased a few as a Birthday gift for a relative. I have asked Amazon to remove it from this category as it can be very confusing to elderly people with poor vision when it comes to small print, especially on small mobile phone screens. Be warned because this is not refundable as it is personalised. I have also requested the company issuing this expensive piece of plastic to make it clear in the Main Description in large print that this has no monetary value . Their current listing does not make this clear in the heading and can easily be missinterpreted by the current wording. Coplay did not mean anything to me. I wonder how many others have unwittingly purchased these cards!

Amazon tracking updates are wrong it's about time they got this fixed. Once again Amazon has let me down.

Under no circumstances should you buy from this bunch of crooks. We have been customers for years. They are fast enough to accept an order, charge you, then send it to the registered address.
On this occasion, we ordered an item for our granddaughter's birthday. They sent the completely wrong item. We reported this and returned the item that day, more than two weeks ago, for a refund. They confirmed they have it back but are refusing to refund us, claiming they don't know who we are !!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT?????? We eventually found a way through to the alleged customer service that claims to be human but must be nothing but a bunch of 'bots??? We have had to prove who we are via some dodgy ID company, did all as requested and confirmed as accepted but now Amazon say they haven't got it and want it done again!!!!!!! We can only assume that Amazon is now involved in ID theft and has no intention of returning our money. Be warned, they are now just a bunch of crooks!!!!!!
SO FINALLY AFTER MANY MANY ON LINE ARGUMENTS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE WE FINALLY GOT OUR REFUND. WE WILL NOW CANCEL OUR AMAZON ACCOUNT FOR GOOD.

Refund process has changed without letting their customers know you can't get your refund back if you post it trough the post office where you would get your refund within 2/4 hours on your Amazon gift card now refund can take anything for up to 2 weeks to be dealt with and maybe longer for the actual refund

I ordered a 12 1/2 kg bag of dog food and they delivered a child’s Lego set and can’t put it right totally their fault you try telling my doggy can’t eat because I haven’t got any food Amazon don’t understand that

1st time to send back a fake item bought. It’s so difficult to deal with and took half a day to finish the process. Next day a refund of £12 pound was taken out of my account by the seller and not refunded. Shows as a pending payment. Next on contacting them for the full fee of over £34 plus the new £12 taken out, its chat centre (acts polite) states to give it a few days for the refund payment to come through despite my statement showing it’s been deducted as -£12. Then the issue of the full refund is to communicate with the scam artist himself!! Amazon need more control on who sells on their platform. The seller claims that shipping fees, complicated forms and not taking out shipping insurance means only £12 is refunded? Thats not U.K. consumer law. The issue is a seller is responsible for their description and quality and refunds on items that do not meet the specifications and use. The product was a fake of Pelsbarn cool blanket, made of nylon and a light cloth piece worth £1 to buy. It is not a dog cooling mat. The advert states silk. Amazon has failed to ensure a full repayment is made and its system now does not allow me to speak in person to action this correctly. I’m going back to shops! This is a days work.
