Just found out that Amazon Prime has been milking my bank account talking about a 30 day trial. I did not request a 30 day trial and, their customer service agents have no understanding as to what you are speaking about. Customer Service lack etiquette, integrity and knowledge of how they are ripping customers off and paying them less.

Have been a long time Subscriber of AMAZON PRIME including PRIME MUSIC.
Just found out today that since around 2022 that
Jeffy Boy has been nailing me for a monthly MUSIC subscription without ever notifiing myself that my MacOS Browser was not being supported?? Meaning a much reduced functional App.
Pure and simple Theft is what it was ! I cancelled, never to go back, ever.
Also noteing more and more, that you can purchase goods locally for "much" cheaper than online Amazon?
Had to come to an end at some point in time!
Remember "NETSCAPE" that could never fail.

Amazon is always on time with deliveries. They have great products at reasonable prices.

I received an Amazon Prime email containing about 200 other email addresses listed under 'To' rather than 'Bcc' saying the following, quote: Dear Customer,
The system was unable to process the $14.99 charge and applicable taxes for your upcoming Amazon Prime billing cycle. This issue has caused a temporary hold on your membership benefits.
To ensure continued access, please update your payment method within the next 1 day. Instructions for completing this update are included in the attached file.

I had tried the 'free' trial and paid the one month fee that was to be fully refunded if I cancelled, and I did so when I discovered that they had egregiously signed me up for autopayments, something I did NOT request, but these companies try to get away with....my reply to the above: ToWhom It May Concern,
I CANCELLED my 'Prime' acct with Amazon some time ago as I did NOT authorize a monthy billing - check your records! it was cancelled as was any 'auto' payments that I've noticed companies love to do when a person tries something for the first time, with the promise of no additional charges, cancel at any time, etc. What is equally egregious is your using 'To' instead of 'Bcc' in this matter this is unacceptable, and I am going to do a review on Trustpilot of this example……you have put ALL of those highlighted, myself included, at risk of scammers, and having illegal sales of email addresses to unscrupulous scammers… Shame on you..
Since replying to this breach of privacy (no response from Prime to date) I have notified ALL of the recipients of this blanket email to write to Amazon Prime and voice their concerns....and believe me when I say 'bad reviews' are the bane of any business....I have had over 52,000 views of my reviews, and that is a LOT of people who hear why.

I ordered a Halloween costume, came before Halloween, BUT THE HEADBAND DOESNT NOT WORK! It was like ordering from Temu! Please make your costumes better quality!

Amazon Prime Video 📺offers a fantastic selection of content, especially for indie, art-house, and European films 🎬and series—an area where it certainly stands out compared to other streaming platforms. However, the recent price hikes are excessive, and the constant additional charges for add-ons are becoming downright absurd.

▶️Another major concern is Amazon’s handling of temporary free subscriptions.

❗️‼️They make it deceptively easy to sign up but unnecessarily and cunningly difficult to locate, manage, or cancel these subscriptions.

❗️‼️Navigating their platform to even find your active subscriptions or ensure you’re unsubscribed is frustratingly complex and surreptitiously disorienting and these “free” trials too often slip by unnoticed until they hit your bank account.

▶️This approach feels sneaky, underhanded, and misleading—using tactics that seem almost designed to take advantage of customers’ forgetfulness.
Such practices aren’t in good faith and seriously need to be addressed!
It feels quite devious!
And I used to love and praise this platform, even to my students - and I teach cinema studies and all things film.
