I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mizani and his team at Americlerkships. Everyone was really helpful and supportive, including Tim and Cody. They have a variety of services that can be utilized in advance to help you navigate through the whole application process. I chose to do the Interview coaching since I signed up with their services after the ERAS opened in 9/15 and because I thought that is what I needed the most. I purchased the 20Q Mock Match Interview (MMI) to maximize my time. I think the more questions you do the better you will be prepared and you can choose the questions that are more challenging for you, tailoring the experience to your needs and residency of focus. If you are tied up with money, the 10 Q format is still very useful. This format has 2 parts. First, a diagnostic part which is led by Tim and the second part, the mock interview which is led by Dr. Mizani. During the mock, Dr. Mizani goes over all the questions and gives you direct feedback which I find highly beneficial. Dr. Mizani is really good at identifying your weakness and the areas that you need to improve and how to do so. Additionally, I purchased the Boot Camp to take my training the extra mile and practice everything that I leaned in the MMI. During the Boot Camp Dr. Mizani chooses the questions and simulates a real interview, you also get feedback as well but may be in a different format than the MMI. If you do this, I recommend having some time between the MMI and the Boot Camp if you can, so you can watch the video and have more time to practice if needed. Overall, I am really happy that I decided to do this training, I learned a lot. I have a better Idea of what interviews are really like. I feel more prepared and confident in my ability to answer the questions properly which may not be what you think it is since every question is meant to elicit certain information from you and in a specific format. I would highly recommend Americlerkships to anyone looking to improve their interview skills and have some coaching during this process. I’ve already stated recommending it to my friend. ! Prepare in advance, watch the videos, practice and utilize the skills in the training and you too will rock your interviews!

Americlerkships has been the best choice I’ve made for completing my requirements to apply for US residency as an IMG. They have a wide variety of options for core and electives clinicals. All the attendings I have been with so far have given me a great experience and helped me understand what residency is the US would be like. Americlerkships has also been very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. I would definitely recommend them to other IMGs planning to apply for residency in the US.

Provided strategy sessions on how to optimize and plan for the ERAS application process. Had a postgraduate subintern Pathology rotation in December were I was exposed to Anatomic and clinical pathology. The Breast molecular laboratory and Blood cytogenetic Laboratory experience were a rewarding experience!! Very respectfully and professional team that works their best to assist and provide helpful advise during this important milestone in my career!! Thank you!!
