The process was simple. All my questions were answered quickly. I really appreciated the daily status updates via email, it helped me stay on track with a quicker closing.

The entire process from start to finish was thorough but incredibly simple in the grand scheme of things.

We were a little frustrated with the middle portion of our procedure waiting for final approval, submitting documents and not getting answers. Also, we had to educate Amerisave on Texas rules and researching information and giving it to them proving our case for funds we had requested. This took going back and forth and cancelling and re booking the notary 4 times. I have to say that our processor Danielle Stevens was the most informative, helpful and went out of her way on her days off to answer and assist us.

This was my worst nightmare: the lies about our closing date. No return phone calls. Their fees are very high, asking for documents that had nothing to do with my husband, houses that I bought and sold before I married my husband, the loan was in his name only. We requested 60,000 dollars for a home that appraised for 240,000 dollars. We did finally close after we told them we were no longer willing to work with them and were moving on to another company, and then they did not need any of the unnecessary documents.

Martina in loan processing was great in communicating what information she needed. The only problem was she would say she had everything she needed, then a day later she would have e new request, which would move the closing date back.

Angel was very helpful and professional getting our loan closed.

Everyone was very respectful and nice. The underwriting was slow which caused delays and pushed closing out longer than it should have.
