On arriving at out hotel for our wedding anniversary weekend we were told the company had not booked our room and had called the hotel that morning to inform them . Not informing us !!! The only room the hotel had was bunk beds which wasnt acceptable at all . The hotel were brilliant as they could see we had travelled a long way and were upset . Ive had no phone call or contact after repeatedly emailing them . DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Just get back from a weekend in Lisbon. I booked a hotel for the first time with Amona as they're the cheapest one compared to another broker online. Everything went right, no negative comments!

Stay away from this scam site!!! Total BS and doesn’t even refund all your money! The resort I booked had no record of my reservation. STAY AWAY!!

Never ever again . We booked hotel on Miami Beach with AMOMA , I received a confirmation number , so everything looks pretty set . When we arrive to the hotel , nobody at the desk could find our reservation. And this hotel was fully booked at that time . We were have to walk with all our luggage and staff to the nearest hotels to find a room for the night . Worst experience of my vacation ever . Please stay away from this agency. It was my first and last time I made reservation with them .

found amona had cheapest price for my hotel - return trip - went to book and noticed could pay by credit card or transfer - looked through terms and conditions for information about credit card fee - NOTHING ABOUT CREDIT CARD FEE - UNTIL PAYMENT PROCESSED - then notice a hefty amount added!!!
Nice person on customer service line said she would send me a link for me to pay by debit card, then my credit card and fee would be refunded within 24 hours but unable to use funds for up to five days!
I will let you know how efficiently this is processed....

Ich habe zwei Aufenthalte über Amona gebucht. Das Anantara Al Akhdar in der Nähe von Nizwa im Oman und das Shangri La Al Husn in Maskat.

Alles hat sehr gut funktioniert.

Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war unschlagbar. Ich würde Amona immer wieder wählen. Im Vorfeld anfragen, ob das Zimmer wirklich gebucht ist kann nie schaden.

had a booking from 6th to 8th November, to arrive and find out the hotel was fully booked and they have no room available. it was pre booked and pre paid, had to get a taxi and find a new hotel (way more expensive) after all this stressful situation.

I used Amona to book a five night stay in Barcelona, after having booked I read the negative reviews. I was immediately concerned and had even thought about cancelling despite losing my deposit. However I contacted Amona via email and voiced my concerns, I was reassured that my hotel was firmly booked.I was told I could contact the hotel directly to confirm my booking which I did. After the hotel had confirmed my booking I was reassured that I had in fact got a good deal from Amona. So if anyone has found themselves in the same position as myself, please relax, I will be using Amona to make reservations again.

WARNING DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOTEL THROUGH THIS COMPANY- they have cansel my parents hotel room on July 28 without telling it to the customer. Now my parents are standing on the streets of Turkey with out a hotel one month after they have cancel the hotel with telling the costumer, and the only option Amoma will offer is a dirty hotel outside the city - they'd rather let a couple of 74 and 76 years sleep on the street than to find a decent hotel for them - even though they made the cancellation. It took me 2 minutes to find an alternative good hotel in the area, which was clean and tidy via hotel.com. Amoma has worked all afternoon to find a hotel for a 74 and 76 married couple and the only thing they return wit is a simple ugly and dirty hotel. Stay far away from Amona, really bad compamy

I had to cancel a booking because of dental problems. I tried to contact them but got into voice mail hell. When I dialed 3 for customer service it just tolled me back into initial greeting. I tried chat three times and never got a reply. In addition when I tried to book and double checked the dates and they had rolled me a week out. this took several tries to get the dates wanted. I finally went to another website but got charge for the unwanted dates. FRAUD, SHAM stay away. According to Hotel they do not charge until check in so I should be able to get a discounted charge back but useless trying to contact them.

Their phone number didnt work, and I had difficulty trying to reach anyone. Eventually did it on a chat. Their change policy is you pay the full amount for date you booked. So basically I am screwed.Turned a cheap booking into a very very expensive booking. Will never use again.

Booked a break for my Dad’s 70th Birthday and had to change the dates at short notice due to the really bad weather experienced in March. As this was a last minute change i phoned the company. The change was made and I had to pay an extra £85 to move the break back to May. This is not what I am complaining about. The issue is that I have been charged £30 for making international calls by my phone company for calling AMONA who unbeknown to me at the time are based in Switzerland. The first call I actually didn’t get through to anyone and was charged £17. I complained to AMONA and was told that it is made clear to customers on their website that it was an international call, plus I should have used alternative means to contact them such as live chat or email. To be clear their definition of making it clear was that they had an international prefix in front of the number and I should have recognised this. Furthermore, I was not advised at any point during the call that I would be charged international rates.Most UK companies have the international dialling code in front of them, this doesn’t mean you will be charged international rates. I should also expect that I should be allowed to contact them by a method of my choosing and not to be penalised financiallly just because I wanted to speak to someone. Extremely poor customer journey and service. I booked a UK based holiday through Trivago and I should not expect to be penalised by wanting to make such a simple change and I expect to be compensated for the cost of my calls. Moreover, I expect AMONA, to either find a way to ensure that customers are not charged international rates for calls in the future, or that they make it explicitly clear to the customer, via the website and on the call itself that the customer is making an international call.

I went on another site to get a room for a weekend in DC. They bid on a room for me that I did not get because someone else got it first. Then they charged me 549.00 for a room they didn't get for me and their customer service did not respond nor did their customer chat. So I was charged 549.00 for a room I did not get and I also spoke to one of their representatives via phone and clearly stated I did not want the room.

Great rate offered on a hotel in Orlando, so I booked it and the money was taken out of my account. Within 30 minutes I had an email cancelling the booking (it hadn’t been confirmed, but they have my money) saying my money would be refunded.

36 hrs later now and I’m still waiting on my money. 3-5 days apparently until it will be back in my account!

I am very disappointed and very upset with your company. I made a booking today and made the payment, I subsequently received a confirmation of the booking.
A few minutes after the call finished, I received an e mail saying that my booking had been cancelled. She had unilaterally decided to cancel the booking and to add to it all, she has said that it was I who requested this cancelation. This is a complete lie and it can be heard in the call recording..
At this stage and in line with the distance selling directive of the EU, I demand to be given the product I purchased, or a replacement of similar value and characteristics. It is against the law advertising something that either you cannot provide to your customers or that did not exist to begin with. This is misleading advertising, something that needs to be dealt with very carefully. I am sure you can see the predicament you are now in, given I have proof of the confirmations, correspondence and the recording of the call which will prove that I did not request a cancelation.
I paid for a product you advertised, and as such demand the rooms and offer I paid for.

I recently purchased a hotel stay in Traverse City MI through this website! They were one of the only sites that showed up reservations for Best Western Hotel. I paid the money via debit and then contacted them when they said they needed to talk to me to issue me a voucher. This whole process seemed Shady! Upon arriving at hotel the hotel had no record of reservations and had never even seen the voucher! THIS IS A SCAM! DON'T TRUST THEM!!!!!
