I received a gift card for $155 in January 2025 for an item I sold on the resale website. I sent the item in January 2025 to the customer who ordered it. I received a gift card for $155, as was part of the exchange.

Nearly right away, the website amourvert.com showed as being temporarily shut down due to the amount of purchases during a large sale.

Now the website is fully down. There is a website called amourvertshop.com that I found in my research. It seems to be a third party website, it's very hard to tell. They do not accept the gift cards. You can buy some Amour Vert inventory, but my guess is that it is a reseller selling off existing old inventory from Amour Vert.

The Customer Service Contact information for all Amour Vert is now all dead as well.

I used this shop very often before this transition. I am appalled that they would shut down and either not fill orders, or send phantom gift cards like they did for me.

There is definitely some sort of criminal activity going on here in these final days. I haven't been able to find much info in the news, but it feels rather like a scam. Customers should receive the money they are owed by the business. There were zero communications sent out to customers with pending orders.

I think they went out of business but they shouldn’t charge for things they didn’t fulfill. My January order wasn’t shipped but they charged me, never got back. Customer service also doesn’t exist anymore.

I ordered a blazer for $250 on December 31st, 2024, and Amour Vert never fulfilled my order and never issued a refund. I sent 7 email requests but they are not responding to their customer-service Email account and their phone number leads you to silence (no answering machine or option for leading a message). This company had a fire sale in January, 2025, where they marked down all of their products to $20 or less, and their website is no longer selling merchandise. I have been purchasing items from Amour Vert since 2018 and was an incredibly loyal customer and am heartbroken that their brand would treat its customers this way.

I experienced the worst lack of customer service with this brand recently. I've had a VERY hard time getting a timely response from customer service via email, phone, and through the website. Was checking in on an order I placed on December 7th that never shipped (it's now January 4th) - not so much as an auto-reply to confirm receipt of my message and set an expectation for reply turnaround time. I ended up calling a store in CA and was able to get help from a store associate who called her manager and advised me that the item I ordered is no longer in stock at the warehouse even though I ordered nearly a month ago in early December. She asked about swapping it out for a different color which I accepted, but when she went to place the order, despite the item still showing as available on the website, that color/size was also unavailable at the warehouse. The fact that the website does not automatically update what's actually in their warehouse is absolutely unacceptable. I imagine I'm not the only person who has been impacted by warehouse inventory issues. I could place a new order for that same sweater right now, and would end up running into this issue all over again. As a brand, if my customers placed orders that aren't actually available, I would IMMEDIATELY send out an email to apologize for the oversight and alert my customers about an issue with my warehouse as an act of transparency and to keep my customers' trust. The store associate, who was very helpful, assured me that their manager would cancel this order and refund me, but again, I have not so much as received a confirmation email, so I have no guarantee that the transaction was completed. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience and I will absolutely be advising anyone I know to not shop here.

I have purchased quite a few items from Amour Vert on many occaisions. Customer service has always been smooth, and shipping is always on time. The items that stand out for me are Washable Silk skirts, dresses, and blouses, and amazingly soft natural Tencel/Bamboo material pants and tops. They also have some very pretty prints. Their sizing is usually consistent, except for the ribbed turtle necks, which run small. Overall, a great company to shop from.

Amour Vert has some lovely designs but my first (and probably last) shopping experience with them has been absolutely awful.

I ordered a silk skirt on Oct. 11th and the money was immediately taken off my card. A month went by with no shipping notification, so I reached out to their customer support team and was told that they were "behind with shipping." Given the pandemic-related postal service delays, I accepted that this order might take slightly longer to get to me, although 4 weeks without even a shipping label created seemed a bit extreme.

Another 2 weeks passed and I reached out again, as I still hadn't received notice of shipment—this was now nearly 7 weeks from time of purchase. I had to send a follow-up before I finally received a response from support, once again with a vague explanation about distribution centre issues causing delays with international shipping. I asked about an ETA and was told they were unsure when my order would ship but they would keep me posted.

A few days later, a manager emailed me with a Canada Post tracking number and told me that my order had been dispatched and that I should see movement on that tracking number once the distributor scans it the following day.

Another week passed and the tracking number remained inactive. I reached out to the support team again, at this point quite annoyed by the hassle, and asked whether anyone could confirm for me whether this package had actually shipped or refund me if it hadn't. By the end of the week, I still hadn't received a response—I DMed the company on Instagram and was told that someone would be in touch soon.

Another FULL WEEK later, I received an email from a different support agent with an entirely new tracking number and was told that my order would arrive on Dec. 24th (nearly 11 weeks since I actually ordered it).

The skirt just arrived today and after all the frustration of the previous weeks, I was sent the wrong size (the skirt that came is a S, and it shows clearly on the order invoice that I ordered a M).

Needless to say, this has been a complete mess from start to finish and an extremely offputting introduction to the company. I've requested a full refund given the fact that I can't even wear the skirt I waited two and a half months to receive (no word yet on whether they will comply) and sincerely hope that Amour Vert sorts out whatever is going on with their distribution centre soon.

I want to support this company for what they are attempting to do with the environment, but I can not. I bought a pair of washable silk pants for $200 that are okay, in an XS. I then ordered another skirt in an XS and when I got it I couldn't even get it over my hips. As well, it did not look as pretty as it did in the photo so I wanted a return, a day after I received the order. They responded that I can only use store credit and this was clearly labeled under the item, which I did not see. So, seeing that their sizing is inconsistent and fabrics are deceiving, I guess I am now out $100 because I would rather not deal with a company like this. These clothes are way too expensive for the quality of fabric AND the quality of customer care.

The clothes are stylish and they are made sustainably in the USA with fabrics made from various recycled materials. The clothes are a good fit, the fabric is soft and comfortable.

I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Amour Vert's customer satisfaction reps. They have been polite, helpful and responsive to me during a few returns, exchanges and credits. I'm so impressed. They have a customer for life based on that alone. They're a great company, selling sustainable fashion, and employing EXCELLENT staff.
